Les escapades au Madison Cottage-Lakefront

Situé sur Orchard Island notre chalet a été entièrement rénové en 2014, il est entièrement meublé avec de nouveaux appareils, y compris laveuse et sécheuse. Beaucoup de places assises à l'extérieur le long du lac parfait pour nager, pêcher, ou profiter de magnifiques couchers de soleil tous les soirs. Situé dans une crique avec de superbes vues sur le lac principal. Magnifique foyer près du lac pour cuisiner des hot-dogs ou des guimauves. Grand barbecue à gaz. Location à la semaine du vendredi au vendredi. Les draps sont fournis. Contactez le 937-999-8401.

This was one of the best places we have stayed at on Indian lake. The cottage was great We will definitely be back.

Always a great stay

We love this neighborhood and the people that stay there. The house has everything you need! The water view is amazing with beautiful sunset views. The host are quick to respond and great to work with. This is our 2nd time staying there and we will definitely be back! Also close to stores, shops and beach. Very open and clean home!

We had never visited the Indian Lake area before. This property was clean and everything was in good order and as advertised. We would be happy to stay there again.

Nice place right on the water

Nice clean place. Good view of the lake from both backyard and inside the house. Close to multiple good restaurants and other activities.

Cozy, clean with a great view

We stayed here for a girls trip. The house has a well stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture, but we spent most of our time sitting out by the lake, it’s so inviting and relaxing. Enjoyed amazing sunsets and the fire pit. Very nice place to stay!

Wonderful family trip

Our trip to The Madison Cottage was wonderful. The views were amazing and we all had fun kayaking and swimming right off the dock. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. We will definitely return in the future.

Great view and house!

Cottage much larger than expected and the upstairs room with all the beds was so great for our kids! We could look out and see wonderful views from the living area. We also cooked hotdogs on the fire, swam in the beautiful cove, rented a boat that could be docked up to the house (walking distance to boat rental), and quick drives to food and playgrounds. Matt was very responsive and accommodating, and the property was very clean and organized.

Beautiful lake front property!

This was a great house for our “mom’s weekend” to celebrate a 40th birthday. The house was immaculate and communication was great. The sunsets were priceless. We hope to bring our kids back next summer.

Wish I stayed longer

The house was very well appointed and had plenty of bed options for all of us. We were there for an event happening on one of the small islands, so most of my time was spent there. But the early mornings found me sitting in front of this cottage at the water’s, enjoying the sights and sounds. I would definitely stay again.

Great, as always.

This was our fourth year staying. My mother had a little difficulty with the stairs as did I. The place is great! Very clean and everything we needed was there.

Family get a way

We had a great time. Fishing, taking long walks, and just hanging out in the back yard watching the boats go by. Lots of sailboats which looked so beautiful on the lake. We loved our stay! The cottage was amazing. Everything was so nice and was furnished with absolutely everything anyone would need. Beautiful place. We will definitely go again!

Nice Weekend Get-Away

Cute litle cottage with plenty of room for family of 7...lovely decor and view of the lake! Perfect location on Indian lake, close to cute restaurants/bars/donut shop/pizza/groceries! The only complaint is the AC did not work great; but given the extreme heat...probably why. We will be back!

We were here to take a trip down memory lane, memories from childhood at the lake more than 60 years ago. What a gorgeous view and comfortable seating to enjoy the lakefront as well as the ability to park a pontoon boat for pickup to go on a special tour that included my brother and his wife. My husband and I spent the two nights and we too call this a five star rental! Just a side note about the 1/2 bath in the laundry room. I took over that space and used the dryer top for all hair and makeup stuff. I brought in a kitchen chair and it became my space. Loved it! Kitchen and dishes amazing, bedding comfortable, and spectrum remote which we understand, lol!

Beautiful house. Great Fishing

The house is very nice with an excellent view. It was clean and easy to find things. The owner left instruction for how to work the T.V., the check-out process, and other helpful tips which was very nice to have. Fishing off their property was excellent. Over the weekend I managed to land 10+ nice and fat catfish, lots of bluegill, and a few keeper walleye. All in all a good place to stay.

Great!!

We've stayed here several times and it's always been great. The only problem is my 90 year-old mother who can't navigate very well. She will probably not be able to come again. Otherwise, superb! I highly recommend it!

Family Getaway

Myself and my family have been going to Indian Lake for many years. We absolutely loved the Madison Cottage. It was the perfect size and location. The house was decorated beautifully, very clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. The rest of my family stayed in the home next door during this same timeframe. It had been a few years since we’ve all been to the lake due to my husband being on a transplant list. He did receive a transplant back in August of 2022 and this was the perfect location to celebrate his 1 yr anniversary. We definitely plan to return next summer.

Noisy neighbors

This is our second summer staying here and plan to go again next summer. The only negative is the noisy neighbors on one side. It's a huge house and both summers we had large family groups with partying and kids, drinking, and bad language. I'm sure it's not every week and it can't be helped. Just throwing it out there. The cottage is wonderful and we love staying there. We will return.
