2nd stay at Gavin’s beautiful villa and didn’t disappoint. Everything was perfect. Our grandson loved exploring the lovely big garden and playing on the steps of the pool. Excellent communication with queries or issues.Great location … nice walk down to Pefkos but always a taxi back.All in all, another fabulous holiday had by all, thank you Gavin

Great Stay

Great place to enjoy family holidays. Villa is spacious, well equipped, clean with a pool, spacious garden and a lot of privacy. The owner is very helpful and responds almost immediately to any inquiry. Lovely views from the villa across Pefkos, very close to lots of restaurants and bars, as well as stunning clear beaches.

Excellent Villa

Third time staying at Kipseli, very comfortable, well equipped, Gavin the owner was always available to speak to. Good location, although needed the car or taxi to get back up the hill from the village. A very enjoyable holiday.

Incredible villa, amazing pool, location, views. The owner could not have been more communicative and helpful. We hired a car for a few days, then got taxis to and from St Paul’s bay, Lindos, and sometimes up the hill from Pefkos if we had lots of water / drinks. Philosophia restaurant was outstanding. Villa Kipseli is a truly special place.

Good location 20 mins walk from Pefkos or 5 mins by car. Excellent pool for both children and adults. Large social area around pool but could have benefitted from more options for shade. Good kitchen facilities or if you wanted to eat out plenty of restaurant options. No BBQ in summer months.

Fabulous first time in a villa

Villa Kipseli exceeded all our expectations ... absolutely beautiful, just as listed ... would definitely recommend. The villa had everything we needed and more, was lovely and clean and had a great pool with sun loungers. It was a 15 minute stroll to Pefkos but better to get a taxi back at night. Only a short drive to Lindos which is a 'must' and an hour to Rhodes Town for shopping and/or sightseeing. Communication with Gavin was easy, he sent lots of information both before and after travel. Overall, couldn't have asked for anything more.

Great villa with everything you need

Really enjoyed our stay here. The villa is fantastic with plenty of space to relax inside and out. There was a local power cut when we stayed and the owner was very responsive to fixing the issue. The pool is fantastic was fully used. The kitchen has all need for cooking family meals and there are supermarkets nearby or Lidl which is a 50 min drive but worth it if you buy for your break. Pefkos is a walk down hill and takes 10-15 mins and is a lovely village. Lindos is also a short drive or taxi and well worth a visit. We had a roof top meal which was lovely. Would also recommend the Water Park in Falariki great day for kids, teens and adults Highly recommend this villa if you are thinking of Rhodes for a holiday.

Perfect Villa

My husband and I were in Rhodes to attend a family wedding but decided to extend our stay for a two week holiday. The villa was perfect for us. The location was lovely and quiet yet only a 15 minute walk away from good restaurants and beaches. The villa was very clean with every amenity you could require and the outside area was fantastic. A really good size pool with various seating areas to provide sun or shade throughout the day. The sunsets were breathtaking. Gavin and Claire the hosts were helpful and responsive to any requests/problems, whilst considerate and discreet. There are books and games galore and the property is comfortably furnished. I would recommend a hire car for food shopping and convenience but the stop for local buses is nearby, giving access to the beautiful Lindos and the taxis service is very proficient. Rhodes by bus is also an option though we chose to drive. Parking was free at the ferry port and Old Town only a short walk from there. We really did have a wonderful stay and was sad to leave; I would highly recommend this property.

An extremely well equipped villa, in a peaceful location with fabulous sea views. The communication and advice from Gavin, prior to and during our stay, was outstanding. Gavin always responded quickly to messages. Excellent host. The villa was spotlessly clean. You’ve got everything you need and more. Beds very comfortable. Air-con in all rooms. Welcome pack was very much appreciated as we arrived late at night. The small windows in the bedrooms don’t have shutters/blinds.Therefore if your sleep is disturbed by daylight bring an eye mask. A large pool, which is private, with plenty of space. Pool towels are provided The veranda provides shade until late PM. As previous reviewers have stated, it takes around 20 minutes to walk into Pefkos. However, it’s an uphill walk all the way back! The track leading up to the villa isn’t paved so sensible footwear required! It’s beneficial to have a car. We would highly recommend these restaurants: Philosophia - stunning views on the edge of the sea where you can watch the sunset. Tsambikos - overlooks Pefkos and the sea. Less pricy than Philosophia. For an inexpensive lunch Lee beach cafe is great. All have car parks. The supermarket under Tsambikos restaurant is good. Sells oat/soya milk for those who follow a vegan diet. Lindos is a 5 minute drive. We would highly recommend visiting the Acropolis. We got there at 7:45am to avoid the queues and heat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great 11 night stay as a family of 5. The outdoor area was the highlight. Huge pool, lots of seating areas to rotate to when its too hot. Indoor aircon was good, clean on arrival. Can walk into town outside of peak heat but usually got a taxi back as the hill was steep. Lots of books and a few games. Would recommend, great communication from owner. Lovely sunsets from the villa. Would recommend a car.

Wunderschöne Lage, Haus mit tollem Pool

Sehr schön und absolut ruhig gelegene Villa mit beeindruckend großem und sauberen Pool mit viel Platz, wunderschönen Ausblicken und einer guten Nähe zu Pefkos und seinen schönen Restaurants und zum plakias beach. . Am Pool fehte uns allerdings schon mit 4 Personen eine weitere Pergola oder 1-2 Schirme für Schatten. Erste Sauberkeitsmängel wurden nach Beanstandung sehr schnell und weitestgehend behoben. Die Einrichtunng fanden wir ok, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Küchen-Ausstattung war top. Eine Renovierung an einigen Stellen im Haus wäre aus unserer Sicht angebracht. Hervorragend ist das Wassersystem des Hauses, das uns trotz kommunaler Wasserprobleme stets gut versorgte. Trotz kleiner Einschränkungen haben wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, auch dank der hervorragenden, zuvorkommenden und freundlichen Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer Gavin und seiner Kollegin Katie.

Villa Kipseli, Pefkos

We had a wonderful stay in Kipseli Villa. The pool was the star attraction and was one of the largest in a villa that we have rented; it was also very clean and well maintained. The villa itself is well appointed and we liked the relaxed attitude towards using foodstuffs in the villa which avoids bringing or buying condiments etc. Gavin was on hand for any enquiries that we had and and we appreciated very much the welcome pack and advice on what to do and where to eat. We thoroughly recommend you rent this villa!!

Spacious quiet villa

Lovely villa, plenty of space inside and out and well equipped with everything you might need. Pool nice size and both a good deep end and shallow end for younger kids. Great views esp from upstairs bedrooms. Gavin provided lots of useful info and recommendations and was on hand by telephone when got the door stuck! 15 -20 min Walk down to Pefkos with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. We stayed 2 weeks & ate somewhere different every night including some trips to Lindos. . It was too steep for us to walk back up pefkos hill in the heat but taxis are easy to get & 6-7euro.

Gorgeous villa, highly recommend

We have just returned from a fantastic week in this gorgeous villa. It was very spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Pool was a great size with amazing views, perfect for the kids to have hours of fun in! Villa is in a lovely quiet and private setting. Gavin was very helpful from the time of booking through to the stay itself and a welcome pack of food was very much appreciated with all we needed for the first afternoon/breakfast. As someone who normally spends hours on the internet looking for the perfect holiday villa each year, this one absolutely ticked all of my boxes and I would certainly highly recommend!

Excellent villa in beautiful Pefkos

Amazing. This villa was everything we wanted and what it said it would be. Excellent communication from the hosts Fabulous welcome pack much needed after long day of travelling. Very clean A home from home, we have 4 kids and they instantly felt the home feel of the villa. Books/games/TV, comfy lounges, a proper family kitchen with every possible kitchen item you would ever need. Makes such a difference when you are away on holiday and actually using the kitchen to prepare meals. Comfy beds Brilliant air con - definitely needed Showers were best downstairs as the pressure was better, but there was also an outdoor shower - great for cooling down during the day. Outdoor space - incredible, lots of places to hide from the hot sun, comfy loungers, chairs etc, The pool was spotless and enormous, it has a proper deep end and easy access steps at the shallow end. Location: Pefkos is a small village but has everything you'd need. Favourite beach was Lee Beach - hire a boat for the clearest water you'll ever see. Easy downhill walk to the beach, but most times we took the car as it was hot and it was so easy to park down at the beach. Restaurants - so many to choose from, Flyers did the best day time meal for us, and the cafe at Lee Beach was great for a cold beer and easy lunch. The bar scene is fun, lots of different music/types of bars, a real good holiday atmosphere. Kids welcome everywhere. Boring stuff - washing machine and airer came in very handy, its under the house so it doesn't bother anyone. 10/10 from us, we absolutely loved it. Thank you

Wonderful holiday!

We had such a great time staying here at Gavin's home. Gavin was on hand to help in any situation or to give advice when asked and not at all intrusive on our stay. There were a couple things that needed fixing during our stay and it was all done quickly and discreetly. We stayed here with our 4 children, 3 - 12 years in age and the house suited us all. The pool is very big with steps into a shallow end which suited the 3 year old and a deep end suitable for canon balls!! There was plenty of room in the house for everyone plus the TV had Netflix and there is a Wii for those tired after a big day in the sun and sea. As others have mentioned, the house has all the little things that you would at home which was a nice surprise when you thought you'd have to make another trip to the supermarket but found it in a drawer. A few travel tips - We visited the local hotel at the end of the road called the Pefkos Blue hotel. Great food, lovely service and use of their lovely pool and beds. We actually went here a few times! Thanks to Gavin for the tip! Go and visit Tsambaki Monestary (you can drive up most of the way and then you'll need to walk the 300 steps up) for the great views - definitely worth the walk and then drive down to Tsambaki beach which has some great water sports but also relaxing beach beds and lovely restaurants. Mojito beach club was another favourite of ours. Quiet beach, lovely restaurant and if you want, a hammock to relax on. Rhodes Old town is stunning, as is Lindos including a walk up the the Acropolis! Prasonisi beach at the southern tip is another great place to visit - where the Med meets the Aegean Sea. We also made it to the Rhodes petting zoo which is little but with some lovely animals there. Pay it a visit if you can, they suffered in the fires so could do with the support I imagine. The Butterfly valley is near by also and a nice spot. We visited so many beaches - they are all so lovely. All in all, we had the most wonderful holiday and not one person wanted to come home. I would recommend staying here in a heartbeat! You can't go wrong! Thank you so much for having us, Gavin & Co - all the best, Kerry & Tony

Summer 2021 family holiday

We had a wonderful family holiday at Villa Kipseli. It’s a beautiful property in a very quiet location. Fantastic space we were a family of 4 but could easily accommodate more. This coincided with a heatwave but the fully air conditioned rooms proved to be a haven at times. The pool is fantastic and my 8 & 9 year old girls loved it as did we to cool off! The villa is incredibly well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need along with a great selection of condiments etc. A book collection the size of a library and even a printer which was a god send in these covid times. The bath towels are of a high quality and an abundance of beach towels. We had a slight issue with the water system one day and Gavin proved to be a great host sorting it out and communicating before, during and after the holiday. The beach is a drive really but lovely and you are well positioned for trips out with Lindos 10 minutes away. The breeze was a welcome relive in the heat but not uncomfortable. Great host and amazing villa!
