Cet appartement villa est situé dans une position privilégiée car il bénéficie d'une vue magnifique sur la baie de Mellieha, Gozo et Comino.
Ayant un seul appartement villa, cette propriété a l'usage exclusif de la piscine.
En entrant, on trouve le salon accueillant avec la cuisine entièrement équipée combinée, une grande et une petite chambre lits jumeaux et bien sûr la chambre principale avec le lit double.
Une salle de bain complète avec baignoire, douche séparée, lavabo et W / C
A l'extérieur, on trouve également la terrasse ombragée avec salon de jardin, où l'on peut profiter de la vue tout en dégustant repas et collations en plein air.
Au niveau inférieur, il y a la piscine avec chaises longues, parasols et barbecue

Bien que cette propriété soit située dans une position tranquille, elle est en même temps à proximité du centre du village où l'on peut trouver les magasins, l'arrêt de bus, les bars et les restaurants.
La climatisation fait de cette propriété un séjour confortable pendant les chaudes journées d'été et les mois les plus frais de l'hiver. La consommation pour la climatisation est à payer selon l'utilisation par un compteur de pièces.

Windhaven review

Place clean and basic however pool is in the shade most of the morning. There was a lot of construction work going which started at 7:30 went on through the day. Layout was strange but made the the most of our stay

Family Holiday

Fantastic holiday home, pool was great, location was great, home owner was great. if I were to be super critical I think certain appliances i.e cooker, tv and shower could be more modern. I ould also advise the home owner to provide a guide to te house i.e how to work AC and the TV, nearest shops/bars/beach etc, useful tips and contacts, things like that

The villa is in a fantastic position, and the view is amazing. The area is hilly and there are 99 steps back up from the square with some of the restaurants. Not ideal for the less mobile of people. We hired a car but the road is full of cars and the owner has constant access to the drive and garage alongside the front door. I had to park quite a way down the street, not ideal when you hire what is meant to be a private villa. Not as private an area as I would have expected or wanted.The villa is fine and the pool area is perfect, the disconnect between the villa and pool can be a little annoying when you have to lock the door when you utilise the outside areas.Overall, it is a lovely villa and a fantastic location, but the negatives mean we would not return, mainly due to the owners use of the garage at anytime day or night.

Location très bien située

Cette location est très bien entretenue et idéalement située proche des commerces, des principaux lieux touristiques et plages. Les instructions pour l'arrivée étaient bien décrites cependant le quartier et la villa ne sont pas trouvables du premier coup mais la gérante est joignable facilement et tout s'est réglé facilement. Petit + à l'arrivée, la propriétaire avait acheté du lait, fromage et jambon pour notre arrivée tardive. Cepedant les photos ainsi que l'annonce du site Abritel devraient être mises à jour car elle ne reflètent pas vraiment la bonne vue et exposition de la villa (chambres donnant sur cours/patio, la terrasse n'est pas attenante à la villa, il faut sortir pour y avoir accès). La climatisation est payante (1€ pour 1h/1h30 et/ou 2€ pour 2h/2h30) et cela n'est pas stipulé dans l'annonce.

Das Appartement war ok.

Aufenthalt 10 Tage. Bei meiner Anreise war niemand da, der mir die Villa gezeigt und das wichtigste erklärt hat. Vor der Villa befindet sich eine Baustelle, die von Mo-Sa früh bis spät in Betrieb ist. Sehr laut.. ein Handtuch pro Person für 10 Tage ist definitiv zu wenig. Nach Aufforderung haben wir 4 neue erhalten. Der Pool ist nicht direkt zugänglich und sehr kalt. Das Mobiliar war veraltet und die Betten sehr unbequem. Auf dem Bett ist ein Plastiklaken, auf dem man sehr schwitzt. Am zweiten Tag kam eine Dame um das Geld abzuholen. Trotz online Anzahlung forderte sie die ganze Summe.. die Villa ist insgesamt sehr dunkel. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist sehr gering und es dauert wirklich eine Ewigkeit zu duschen. Sonst ist die Wohnung sauber. Trotzdem haben wir diese wunderschöne Insel sehr genossen.

The construction site is out of our control and we cannot do anything about it but hopefully this is not for good and it will be finished in the near future. The owner whom you said came to see you is the owner and am sure she had asked you if you have anything you need to ask when she had met you and not just to collect the money.If she had asked for the full amout is because she was mixed up and not that she wanted to take more money from you. When you had asked for more clean towels these were given to you as soon as you had asked and also other issues that were brought up were taken care of immediatley. If you had asked for more clean towels, the owner would have replenished this again and you also had the washing machine. The property has windows in each room and am wondering why you found this property dark. All the swimming pools in Malta are cold during the month of October as the temperature is not like peak summer, over 30 degrees. I will certainly inform the owner about the low pressure in the bathroom and also let her know that you have found the beds to be uncomfortable so she can check them. Glad to hear that in the end you have enjoyed your stay in Malta. I do not think though that this property deserve a 3 star. Margaret

Lovely stay

Lovely villa , very clean had everything we needed. Excellent location. Only downside was the pool is a little cool as it doesn’t get full sun until later afternoon and the villa is a little dark.

Thanks for your review.In September the sun starts to get lower and does not reach as early as the summer. This might have affected you and also the fact that you have found the villa dark.I do not see it as a dark property as it has windows all around and all lead to outside and not a shaft or anything like that. Great stay in Mellieha!

The flat was lovely and clean and there was a little welcome food package waiting for us. The only two downsides are that the flat receives no natural light at all and there is no access to the outside space other than through the front door, so having meals outside is a bit of a pain.

Many Thanks for your kind review....just want to point out that there are windows in this property and some natural light does come in. It is true that access is from the front door but the terrace is not that far away from the apartment, and then when you are outside the view makes up to all. I look forward to accommodating you again in one of my properties.

Lovely location great views

Hosts were very welcoming and the villa was spacious and clean. The views were amazing and the villa was close to restaurants, bars and shops. The only downside to this villa is that you have to leave your apartment and unlock another gate and go down a set of stairs to reach the pool making it quite inconvenient, especially if you needed a quick toilet trip or just wanted to nip inside. The villa owners lived in the apartment above and shared the outdoor apartment area so it wasn’t completely private, however they were very friendly people who made us feel at home.

Beautiful Villa, Amazing Views, close to main town

We stayed in Wind Haven a family of 5, attending my daughters wedding. There were 60 people in total all in Villas relatively close to one another. We had an amazing stay. The villa had recently been upgraded with air conditioning, which was amazing, and a beautiful new large bathroom. The bedrooms were large and spacious . The villa was very comfortable, the owner supplied a change of sheets and towels on our stay, and I must say the towels were the softest and fluffiest towels I’ve ever come across. The villa is set on 2 levels with a beautiful spacious balcony on one level and a lovely pool on the bottom level, with sun beds. Comfy outside seating and eating area with bbq. Added bonus a washing machine which was great with a family. There is a large fridge freezer which is great to store your fresh foods and bottled water. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. Carmen was a fabulous host, helping us with information about the local area, and always on hand if we needed anything. Carmen was extremely accommodating due to having my daughter getting ready in the villa with all her bridesmaids. I can’t thank her enough for that. There are many beautiful restaurants near by, supermarkets, and the beach. Buses cost 2 euros ( please note there is a time limit on the bus ticket, so you could get to the supermarket and back for 2 euros). Taxis are also a great option. Download Taxify. A most beautiful villa with absolutely amazing views. Sit and watch the world go by on the beautiful balcony. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay.

Location cannot be topped

I was immediately overwhelmed by the breathtaking views upon our arrival and my two children couldn't get enough of the pool though it is a bit dated compared to the neighbors. Inside the apartment is very spacious and clean. The owners live above and are very kind and treated me like family. The pay by coin AC was not an issue until August arrived and the temperatures soared. Could get a bit expensive if you like it cool. I had a Rent-A-Car and parking was never an issue and the Villa is close enough to everything that you could walk, even to the beach if you don't mind a 20-minute hike. I wish the pool was on the same level as the apartment but you have to walk down a set of stairs to get to it and it makes it a little difficult if you're bringing food or drinks. A bathroom or small outdoor kitchen near the pool would make this Villa really shine!

Complete, comfortable apartment with pool

We had a great holiday on Malta with loads to see and do, Blue lagoon on Comino and MDina were highlights. Public transport was enough to get around without a car, but did take longer (use the 7 day travel card - just go for the basic bus only, as we found the more expensive card with ferries not worthwhile, but saved the hassle for coins etc). It was a spacious, clean, comfortable and fully fitted apartment with a helpful owner in an area close to the bus, local shops, bakeries (yummy pastries) and restaurants. The pool was great for our older ages in that it was quite deep and clean. The BBQ and seating area outside was great and sheltered from the prevailing wind, The only niggle was the building works and dust, with crane in our face, however this did not spoil the special sunsets and view over the bay as far as Comino and Gozo islands, but with the scale of building on the island, this was to be expected. Special mention for Munchies restaurant, on Mellieha beach (a short bus hop away). Air Con was there, but we did not use it much and black rubbish bags out Mon/Wed/Fri and White recycling out Tues/Thurs. Valyou supermarket was a 15 minute walk and had everything you'd need and would deliver (Mon-Fri) We recommend this property

family stayed from 11th to 18th September for a wedding

Absalutly fantastic villa and stunning views, very clean and comfortable can't fault this place. would like to thank Carmen and Margaret for a lovely stay, both my sons aged 27 and 24 loved it and want to come back. Carmen informed us that they are updating the villa hope it all goes well. Regards Glenn family

Stunning views. Perfect for families.

We stay for 14 nights and enjoyed every single day. The villa is clean and very comfortable with so much space. The bedrooms are huge and the beds are comfortable. The views from the terraces are stunning. We will certainly look to return in the future. The owner Carmen is a lovely lady who was very polite and pleasant. Suggestions I would make for further improvements to the villa is for a washing machine to be installed. And concidering the swimming pool is on the lower tier to the appartment, a toilet and shower area at the pool would be convenient.

Very clean and well situated. In need of some modernisation and a comfy bed and sofa, I suffer from a bad back and either helped, my partner whos grandparents and dad are maltese tells me this is normal for Malta. The pool is not filtered (there is a sign asking for guests not to enter the pool with sun tan lotion on as it makes the water very dirty, but as it was and is a hot sunny country this is not realistic) and its a bit of a strange set up as the actual owner lives on the top floor and you have to go through her garden via a locked gate (you are left a key) to the lower level where the pool and bbq are. The owner is very typical Maltese and does not come across as overly friendly, although she is being friendly. There are lots of shops and restaurants near by (although lots of hills and stairs, would not be suitable for anyone who has difficulty walking unless you hire a car). Dont get me wrong it was an enjoyable stay and we would probably stay again if it is updated as the owner told me it was going to be over the winter months. The views are amazing and its very close to the ferry port to Gozo. For thoughs of you who have not been to Malta before its very cheap and easy to get a weekly bus ticket and visit everywhere on the island, or hire a car (gold car where the cheapest we found).

Windhaven, Mellieha Breathtaking!

This was our 6th vacation staying at Windhaven, Mellieha. Already booked for 2017. That says it all! Outstanding view of Mellieha Bay from balcony, especially at night when all lit up. Fabulous private pool! Always blue, well maintained. Privacy a great feature. Owners very pleasant to deal with. Property very clean, spacious and cosy. Great for families. Variety of "good value for money" restaurants and taverns locally around Mellieha so as not to get bored. Purpose built BBQ if you don't fancy dining out. Mellieha beach never too packed. Always sun beds available. I could not recommend this place highly enough! Well, that's my secret out!
