La Casetta di Orvieto

Le logement est dans le centre historique, dans un quartier trÚs calme. Finement rénové en 2016. Il comprend une chambre double, une chambre simple et un canapé-lit double dans le salon. Le logement peut accueillir jusqu'à 5 personnes. La cuisine est équipée de tout le confort et ustensiles (réfrigérateur et congélateur, lave-vaisselle, four, four micro-ondes, machine à café expresso et machine à café américaine, bouilloire, grille-pain, mixeur). Vous trouverez du thé, des dosettes de café, des biscuits secs et des articles pour le petit-déjeuner à votre disposition.
TV présente dans chaque chambre et dans le salon. Draps et serviettes disponibles.
Service Wi-fi présent. Laveuse / sécheuse disponible.
Un petit jardin extĂ©rieur et une terrasse avec une splendide vue panoramique peuvent ĂȘtre utilisĂ©s.
Le Casetta est situé tout prÚs à pied du parking public couvert appelé Ex Campo della Fiera ou Campo Boario, relié au centre-ville par des ascenseurs et des escaliers mécaniques construits à l'intérieur de la falaise.
Le prix minimum se rĂ©fĂšre au sĂ©jour pour n. 3 personnes. Chaque invitĂ© au-dessus de la troisiĂšme personne paie un prix supplĂ©mentaire de 15,00 € par nuit.
MĂ©nage quotidien supplĂ©mentaire possible sur demande pour 20,00 €.
Le contact téléphonique est apprécié au moins une heure avant l'arrivée.

Picture perfect apartment in Medieval Area

We arrived from Rome by train. Orvieto is a lovely city where you can walk everywhere. The streets and alleys are picturesque but steep. The piazzas are all lovely and provide a place to relax and grab a bite to eat. The apartment has everything you need including a washer/dryer in an adjacent building. Chiara is a lovely host. She had many recommendations for the area. We walked down and up St Patrick’s Well. Fascinating architecture. My only comment about the apartment is the lighting for the main room (kitchen/sitting room/dining area): the main light is very, very bright. If there were a dimmer switch, it would be more welcoming. Chiara arranged for a taxi from the train station and back to the train station when we checked out. Very accommodating. We thought it was the perfect place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chiara’s apartment in Orvieto. She went out of her way to make our stay easy and enjoyable, arranging taxis and helping with luggage. The apartment is comfortable and close to the many tourist attractions of this picturesque historic city. We would certainly stay here again.

The perfect base in one of the gems of Umbria

This property is an absolute delight, positioned in the oldest and quietest quarter of Orvieto, but in easy walking distance of some of the best restaurants as well as the top sights, shops and bars. Inside it is very comfortable and well-equipped; outside there is a lovely, perfumed little garden and a terrace with a stunning view. Chiara, the owner, could not be more helpful. Orvieto itself is a delight, which can be enjoyed in its own right over a number of days or used as a base for visiting the other wonders of southern Umbria. It has excellent train and bus connections as well as being just of the A1 Rome Firenze autostrada. The food and wine is superb.

Our stay at Casetta di Orvieto

Our stay at Chiara’s home was fantastic! Chiara was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and provided us driving directions to the main parking lot in town, where she met us and then walked us to the house. The house was exactly as the pictures depict it - cozy and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the brief walk through the streets of Orvieto to the main part of town where there were many dining and shopping options. Chiara offered us lots of information on Orvieto and sites to visit. We’d definitely stay at Casetta di Orvieto again!

A place of delight in Orvieto

Orvieto itself is just charming. Bring able to stay at Chiara's darling cottage made it perfect. Spotlessly clean. with every amenity you could think of we just loved it. The decor is a delight and with comfortable bed and pillow sleeping was great. You will love staying here. Loved the great shower and the view was amazing. We loved the patio to have coffee in the morning and a glass or "two" of wine in the evening Meeting Chiara and enjoying this amazing hilltop villsge was a highlight of our 3 weeks in Italy. you will not be disappointed.

We loved the property, it was beautiful and the owner was kind and welcoming. The garden was stunning, I love roses, and we had an amazing view of the countryside. Orvieto is quaint and charming and we hope to be back again someday!

Wonderful Stay in Orvieto

My husband, my 2 children (18 and12) and I stayed here. Chiara was great to work with. Prior to our arrival, she answered all of our questions and explained where to go and how to contact her. The property was extremely clean and perfect for our needs. The patio was such a nice place to sit in. Orvieto is a great town! There’s lots to see and eat there and this property is within easy walking distance of everything. We were able to do day trips to Florence, Rome and it would be easy to get to several more. Chiara helped us set up our very early taxi to the train station upon our departure. She is a wonderful host and I highly recommend staying in her property.

a secret gem

the house was immaculate but the selling point was the outside space and position within the town.although completely central the space outside was a delight for eating and being. The hostess was so helpful, booking taxi's for us for arrival and departure. There was cooking equipment and different coffee machines with coffee. Orvieto was a beautiful place and we stayed a week without a car. easy to get to from Rome.
