Iâve stayed at several different places in Horseshoe over the years and this was by far the best. Spacious home, great views and the dock stayed wet!
We have been staying here every year since our babies were born and somehow it keeps getting better each year despite the major challenges this beautiful place has had . We canât wait for next year MP 2026. Thank you Brad for being a great host. See you soon.
Words just can't say how beautiful this place is. Brad was absolutely amazing and made our stay so easy and enjoyable! Nothing in this place disappointed us we can't wait to come back! Thank you for letting us host our beautiful wedding at your home
The fishing was excellent and the property was perfect. Once we got the vehicle parked and the boat in the water we only used the boat. The sunset views were absolutely amazing.
One of reason we book the Gulf front house was because of the boat dock, but at low tide there was no water so we couldn't leave or return to the dock. So, we had to use the boat ramp every day for our four days stay. This made it very incontinent for us and wasted a lot of our time. If we know that we would have booked a place cheaper to stay. Other than that, the house was very nice.
We always enjoy staying at Mullet Point. It was a bit inconvenient this trip since we couldnât park our boat trailer on the property, but we were able to park at the marina for a fee!
Mullet Point in Horseshoe Beach was a great place to spend a quiet few days. Whether relaxing on one of the two decks or fishing from the dock we had the best and most beautiful views and sunsets. The house was very clean and well stocked. Canât wait to come back, hopefully during scallop season!
This place was amazing. The cleanliness was superior. Everyone treated us well. This was our second trip. We will be back again. Thank you for your hospitality. Everyone had an amazing time!
Horseshoe beach is an isolated getaway to the Gulf of Mexico. The property is well maintained. A quiet area that allow friends and family to come together for some relaxed boating for the experienced captain. Tides can be a little tricky and need to be referenced before planning your day on the water. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Brad was a wonderful host and excellent communicator.
Perfect get away with a view that you wonât forget. The home is well appointed - we brought our kayak, dropped it in the water and off we went. My husband was elated to catch red and black drums off of the near by oyster beds. Thank you all for a fantastic stay!
Great property. Only issue is limited water at low tide for dockage. I can overlook this, though. Really nice house!! Great views. My second time here and hopefully not the last.
This property was perfect! It had everything we needed for our work trip to the area. It had plenty of space, everything we needed in the kitchen, a boat dock, access to the public boat ramp, and had a bonus of a fantastic view from the lovely deck (especially for sunset views). The place was clean and had plenty of linens and towels with lots of space for us all to work and lounge. The only issue we had was trying to do work from the internet which ran slow but the place was so beautiful and comfortable it didn't matter. Would definitely stay here again!
The house was very clean and spacious. Had everything needed to make our stay perfect. Any question I had, Brad answered almost immediately. Plenty of parking. Dumb waiter available and working perfectly. The deck goes around the entire house and thereâs 2 levels. The middle level is large enough for the kids to enjoy. Definitely will be renting again.
Perfect location to relax, watch birds and enjoy amazing sunsets.
The house was very comfortable. I gave it only 4 stars because it needs a little TLC to deserve that 5th star. Enjoyed the deck furniture, swing and hammock. The bedroom tv's weren't hooked to the satellite system. Cooked a great seafood dinner for 10 people with sufficient cooking dishes and dinner ware. Overall a good experience.
Our overall stay was amazing. We had 11 people total and had more than enough room to accommodate us!
We planned on scalloping but it seems the recent hurricane has made it more difficult to find them. Luckily the weather was beautiful so we enjoyed boat rides and swimming around sand bars. We were unfamiliar with the area so we did not know about the tides and their effect on the inner canals. Plan your boating trips carefully. Other than that hiccup we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our first full family trip with my husbands family and it was a memorable one. <3
There are a lot of stairs, but they are not steep and are very easy to climb. Inside or on the deck, the view is amazing. Quiet and peaceful area.
The "town"of Horseshoe beach is very sleepy.
Only the Marina (which is VERY expensive) is open 7 days a week, everything else is closed until Wednesday or Thursday. In short, plan ahead pack groceries and get gas before turning off of 19. It's a 45 minute drive by car to Steinhatchee. Just plan ahead and then enjoy the peace.
Our family has been vacationing in Horseshoe Beach since the early 70's when our Dad discovered Horseshoe with his fishing buddies, accidentally stumbling upon this gem of a fishing spot when looking for a place to refuel their boat . The original red cabin in this location was destroyed in the '92 "Storm of the Century." It was another 10 years before Papa Paul rebuilt on the same site, and this is the house that he built.
Quiet location near the end of a dead-end street. Spectacular sunset views over the Gulf. Steps away from the seawall for easy fishing and crabbing right off your private dock. Private dock allows for docking of two 24' boats.
