We have been to this property many times and each year is like returning to our home. This is a comfortable cottage with a beautiful lake view and located in a beautiful area. We can’t recommend this place enough. Each year we see nice amenity upgrades so it just gets nicer. The host is easy to work with and very communicative. While an older property it is clean and very well maintained.

Our 9th summer at this Lake Michigan rental! Needless to say we love being right on the "Big Lake" and the grands say they can't go back to school until after we go to Muskegon! We've already booked our week for next summer!

We unfortunately did not have a good stay. The cottage was not clean as it should be (black mold in middle shower, dust in corners and sand in living room). The wood flooring in living room was torn and lifted that caused a slip and fall. The stairs were very difficult for us as seniors to access the property. Also we had an infestation of gnats and had to buy fly tapes. The view of the lake was beautiful and the screened porch was nice. The master bed was in bad shape but the guest rooms were fine. This was a rental for young people only. We would not recommend nor stay there again. I did contact the owner with these concerns.

This location, on a bluff above Lake Michigan, and near the amenities of the Muskegan area, is just perfect. This is our fifth stay at the cottage, and we just booked again for next year.

This was our 7th summer spending a week at Windhaven....the grands were babies the first year and now venturing out on kayaks and paddle boards! We are already booked for our week next summer! Great set-up for our family!

Great place to spend a week

This was our third stay here and we've already booked it for next year. It is a perfect place for hanging with friends and family. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable vacation home in the Muskegon area.

Older lake house that fit our needs pretty well. The listing maybe should have mentioned the fact that there are stairs required to enter. Not a big deal for most of us, but we had older parents come visit. Appreciate that our pups were able to be with us. Would stay again.

Gorgeous beach

Wonderful Vacation

My family and I had another wonderful vacation here! Love the private beach and having campfires at night while watching the sunset. Truly a great place to create lasting memories! The hosts make you feel right at home.
