Construit en 2006, 'Scargo Bungalow' est niché dans 6. 5 acres de terrain boisé sur Scargo Lake. La maison a un plan d'étage ouvert / 2000 pc. Nous avons environ 300 pieds de façade sur le lac. La plage principale a environ 30 pieds de blanc lac de sable façade, un quai d'acajou, et un espace de bronzage. La plage / lac sont parfaits pour les adultes et les enfants. Le lac est limpide et est assez peu profonde à environ 50-60 pieds.

La maison a également une belle grande véranda avec des meubles en osier (canapé et siège d'amour) avec une vue sur le lac d'un côté et une table de ping-pong de l'autre côté.

Courte distance de la Corporation et Plage de Howe, (un peu moins de 1 mile), les nombreuses boutiques pittoresques anciennes et cadeaux, plusieurs restaurants, une bibliothèque de la ville, bureau de poste Cap Playhouse, Dennis Marché public, Scargo Hill Tower, et le fameux Ice Cream Smuggler . Tous les lieux énumérés sont dans un 5-20 minutes à pied. Plusieurs terrains de golf / courts de tennis / sentiers pédestres et cyclables à 10 minutes en voiture.

Ecran plat LED 42 'LED HDTV dans la chambre familiale, lits avec matelas Temperpedic ou' surmatelas ', climatisation centrale, adoucisseur d'eau Culligan, douche extérieure fermée avec dressing et coin salon.

Il y a 3 chambres complètes et une mezzanine w / un canapé (et l'écran de la vie privée): deux des chambres ont des lits queen size, la 3ème chambre a des lits jumeaux. La chambre double a de la place pour des matelas d'air supplémentaires. Il y a une deuxième mezzanine avec un canapé et des chaises pour la lecture, les jeux de société, etc.

2 salles de bains avec baignoire / douche; l'un au 1er étage et une au 2ème étage. Une cabine de douche en plein air.

Salle à manger avec portes françaises avec une vue plongeante sur le lac Scargo.

Grande, propre, aérée et entièrement équipée cuisine; nouveau lave-vaisselle en 2010.
Grande salle a un plafond cathédrale avec ventilateur de plafond et un canapé en cuir assorti, causeuse et une chaise. Planchers de bois franc dans toute la maison. Les salles de bain sont carrelées. Pas de tapis mur à mur - parfait pour les personnes souffrant d'allergies.

Eh bien comportés animaux sont toujours autorisés.

First, if you have never been to Cape Cod, GO! Second, this property is wonderful. It is wonderfully private and quiet even though it is on a main street. There are bay beaches minutes away as well as shopping if you need anything, and restaurants if you choose. The house is well equipped for comfort, cooking, and water fun on the lake. Our 3 generation family had a great week.

Absolutely perfect for us. Beautiful, quiet, secluded. An outstanding rental - the best I have made on the Cape and I have rented 4 or 5 I think. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Location is great, house layout is very sociable and great for family groups. The property and lake are very beautiful This place really exceeded our expectations, which were high to begin with. It is also the best appointed house I have rented from the grill and gas ( propane) range to the linens to the ample supply of toilet paper, dish soap, first aid etc. It is so nice to come into a house that is generally stocked and ready to go - amazingly it is not what happens every time. If you're not careful you could spend your whole trip simply enjoying this house and lake.

Great spot for a cape vacation

Beautiful home set back from the road. We had solitude and peace and quiet but were still close to all the cape has to offer. Private beach with free water craft is a plus too.

Perfect Lake Retreat

We had a great stay here. Marta and Betsy were very welcoming hosts and were very responsive throughout the week. The house is a perfect lake retreat and has a lot of toys for the family to enjoy like kayaks, canoe, a ping pong table, foosball, etc. It’s also nice to be able to walk to the center of town and beaches. We would definitely come back again!

Beautiful spot!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. It’s so close to everything but feels secluded surrounded by woods. The lake was beautiful and the shallow water perfect for the kids and dogs to play in all day. At night we sat on the screened porch and watched the fireflies. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Great house and location!!

My family, 2 dogs and I loved staying here on Scargo Lake. The house was perfect for the 9 of us with the pups. Very spacious, clean (Covid clean), private and had everything you possibly needed. Marta the host was wonderful. Very attentive for any need that may have arrived and genuine. We would love to go back soon! We highly recommend staying here. We loved it!

Best of both worlds--lake and beach vacation!

Our family of five had a great time at this house for our vacation. My husband prefers a lake vacation but my kids like to get to the beach every summer. This house was perfectly located to give us walking access to both the lake and the beach. Plus it was an easy walk to an ice cream shop, donut shop, grocery store and several restaurants. We also loved that the owners provided kayaks, a canoe and a sailboat for our use. The house was very clean and comfortable and the owner went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Highly recommended!

Nice Location with Lots to do

Marta the owner was very accommodating in every way. The home was well stocked with boats, games, and pre stocked foods. Location was very close to nice restaurants and Cape Cod Playhouse. A 20 minute walk to the salt water beach, with a 2 minute walk to the Scargo Lake, fresh water beach right on the property. Loads of places to get home made ice cream. Caught 2 bass from the canoe. I would definitely recommend this for a family, as we had a 2 year old and 9 month old with us.

Amazing Lake House So Close To The Beach

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to enjoy school vacation. This property is located right on Main Street with all the associated convenience, but yet it feels like you are isolated on a small relatively private lake. The house is perfect and had everything we needed. The large screened in porch is wonderful and everyone in our family enjoyed it including our Golden Retriever who liked to just lay on the porch and look out at the yard and the lake. The lake is amazing and we all really enjoyed using the kayaks, canoe, and peddle boat. We also really enjoyed fishing in the lake. The house is very close to many excellent restaurants and multiple beaches. Additionally, Marta and Mark were absolutely outstanding hosts. We would highly recommend the place to friends and family and really hope that we have the chance to stay again in the future.

Cabin in the Woods, yet Walking Distance to Town

This Dennis property is truly a cabin in the woods -- remote, quiet, and relaxing. Even though we were walking distance to the town of Dennis, we felt really secluded when at the property. The setting was lovely. We kayaked on the lake enjoying the crisp fall air and beautiful fall foliage. Sitting on the private beach for sunrise or star gazing was a special treat. Marta was a diligent an attentive owner. She contacted us in advance with tips for enjoying the property and again during our stay. She and her husband even met us at check-in which was so friendly. The home is a lovely cabin with updated amenities and nostalgic features like a broad screened porch. It's clear that the family has enjoyed many seasons at this peaceful property.

Excellent stay

Marta’s house in Dennis is really fantastic. I actually think that the listing doesn’t do justice to either the inside or outside. It was nicer than I expected. The house is roomy, comfortable and really well-equipped, again inside and out. The location is perfect. It is a 10-15-minute walk to good restaurants, a bakery, etc. and yet when you are at the house you are in the woods with not a sound to disturb you. The lake is gorgeous and I can’t describe how nice it is to see that lake from the comfortable screened porch or the lounge chairs on the lawn. We spent a lot of time relaxing with our books, inside and out. There are 3 roomy bedrooms (good beds) as well as a spare bed in the upstairs sitting area. The bathrooms are good. The kitchen is excellent, with every pot, pan, utensil, etc., that you need. We went to Petersen’s fish market a short drive away to pick up fresh fish each day and enjoyed preparing dinner at home. And the living room is very comfy for hanging out. My only caution would be that the Internet service is not strong, in case you were planning to do work while away, Zoom calls, et. Marta kindly checked in regularly to be sure that we were doing well. It was a delight to stay there.

I can't say enough about this wonderful home on Scargo Lake- absolutely perfect! From the moment we walked in, we all felt at home. The house was perfect to accommodate our family of 8 ( plus our fur baby). The home is well cared for and had everything we needed and the mid-cape location was perfect for our day trips exploring the Cape. Marta is an excellent host - very accommodating and she welcomed us when we arrived and made sure we had what we needed and even recommended some yummy local eats. Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home- we can't wait to visit the cape again. Thank you for sharing your family home with us Marta!

Fantastic again

We rent a lot of houses and this is the only one that we have stayed at more than once, in fact this was our third time. Marta is a great host and the house is great. It is private, has a great view of the lake, central air conditioning and the lake itself is amazing. Nice private beach area and when you go into the lake it is not mucky like many lakes. Many water toys provided as well. Hopefully we will be able to keep on renting this house. Highly recommend.

Better then excepted

We had a wonderful time. The house has everything you need. Lots of towels, soaps, spices, pans and dishes. I brought to much of my own things i never used. Everything was clean. Marta ( the owner was a peach). Their were boats to use and the lake was sooo clean. Its also close to restaurants and food shopping. I will definitely return again.

Scargo Bungalow

We had an extended family vacation with both young kids and adults. The week was just wonderful. The accommodations were excellent with many amenities and fun activities for all ages. There were boats and floats (including life vests) for the lake and lawn games for the yard. There were lots of games in the closet and VCR movies for night time or rainy days (fortunately not many of those for us!). The beaches were close by (make sure to go early - the parking lot fills up fast!) and beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Scargo Lake 2020

Our family (5 adults & 2 grandsons) had the most wonderful time at this Scargo lake house! The house was so comfortable along with the beds, furniture, dining area, kitchen and beautiful screened in porch. Some of us got to enjoy the canoe, kayaks, floating toys etc. we hope to be able to go there again next year!!

Lake life at it's finest!

Three generations enjoyed a quiet, peaceful week at Scargo Bunglow! The house was clean, well appointed, and perfect for our group. Our Hosts provided every amenity to enhance our stay! We all can't wait to go back! It was a really enjoyable area!

Wonderful Stay at Scargo Bungalow

This lake house was great! So private yet so close to downtown Dennis. The screen-in porch was great for relaxing outside without having to worry about bugs. Definitely coming back here next year!

Private getaway with all the amenities!

Was perfect for our three generations of family and our dog. Geat porch for the whole group to gather. Scargo Lake is great for swimming, and boating. Only a 20 minute walk to Corporation Beach on Cape Cod Bay. Already looking at dates for next year!

If you want a wonderful, peaceful vacation, this is the spot.

My family and I have stayed at Scargo Lake twice now and would love to again, however the week we can make it is already booked. This vacation home is just perfect with every comfort provided by the owner. Comfort in every piece of furniture, comfort one the delightful porch, restfulness on the sweet hammock and the comfortable beds. Scargo Lake is just breathtaking and relaxing if you want to swim, watch nature or just chill. The owner is eager to please and her pride in her family's home for many years shows through in every detail in the home. I have bragged to many of many friends about having this perfect vacation spot. Can you tell? I just loved it!

Immaculate home overlooking Scargo Lake

Scargo Bungalow is an immaculate, well equipped home in a very secluded setting overlooking Scargo lake. The swimming area is sandy with a very gradual drop off which makes it perfect for young children. Three kayaks provided many enjoyable hours gliding along the lake. The large screened porch was the perfect gathering spot each evening. Very convenient location to Mayflower Beach and Dennis Village. .

My great-grandfather Eugene bought this property in 1914. The original home burned down in late 2004. The new house was built in mid-2006 and is owned by family members (grandkids and great-grandkids of Dr. Eugene Wylie- some of us shown in the attached late 1960's photo).
