Cette charmante cabane de montagne est nichée dans les bois, mais à quelques minutes de la ville, en haut de la colline de Safeway. Amenez toute la famille ou vos amis dans cette retraite de montagne pour profiter de toutes les activités de plein air que les montagnes Rocheuses ont à offrir. Faites du vélo de montagne ou allez vous promener hors de votre garage pour 2 voitures sur la courte distance (0,5 mile) jusqu'au système de sentiers Idlewild qui se connecte à des centaines de sentiers amusants. Que vous souhaitiez vous diriger vers la montagne ou vous détendre sur le pont surdimensionné au milieu des pins, c'est l'endroit idéal!

Cette confortable maison de 2 chambres + loft est située à Fraser à quelques minutes de Safeway, dans ce qui est connu comme la région de Winter Park Ranch. Le quartier est calme et pratique. Vous serez à proximité de tout ce que vous aimeriez explorer dans la vallée du Fraser.

Une grande terrasse entoure le premier étage de la maison. À ce rez-de-chaussée, vous trouverez également le garage pour 2 voitures, la cuisine, les espaces de vie et de salle à manger (sièges de table 8), la laveuse et la sécheuse, une chambre qui contient 2 lits queen et enfin une salle de bain complète avec douche. Profitez du grand canapé en cuir tout en écoutant la chaîne stéréo, en regardant la télévision et / ou en vous relaxant près du foyer au gaz. Utilisez le gril à gaz pour préparer vos plats grillés préférés. Il y a aussi plein de jeux à jouer!

La chambre principale avec lit king est à l'étage. Cette chambre a sa propre salle de bain complète rénovée (en 2018). Au deuxième niveau se trouve également la mezzanine avec de grandes fenêtres où vous trouverez deux lits gigognes jumeaux pouvant accueillir 4 personnes, une demi-salle de bain, des livres et des jeux de société.

Le WiFi est également disponible pour votre confort. Nous avons également un câble xfinity sur un téléviseur HD 60 "avec DVR, lecteur DVD et chaîne stéréo avec câble aux pour votre iphone. Veuillez vous renseigner et / ou nous appeler.

This place was awesome. It’s in a great location. The drive to Winter Park is just a few minutes and I also really liked being so close to town. The house is everything we needed to have some family time and relax. The hosts are the most personable people I’ve worked with through VRBO.

The house was great. Cozy, warm, and had every thing we needed. We loved the location. It was close to every thing but still private and secluded. Communication with the owners was very good and they responded immediately to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the property was spectacular. The house was spotless. It was very clean, especially by my wife's standards who is very picky about dust. The kitchen was very well equipped which we used every day. The mattresses were spectacular. The TV app selection was great for late night movies and the board games were great as well.

We came up to Fraser for a long weekend getaway with another family. 4 adults and 2 3-year old girls. We had a wonderful time. House was perfect for our size group. Awesome walks in the evening, looking for moose and other wildlife. Great mountain biking trails just down the road. Secluded, yet close to what you need. We will be back!

Perfect for Families (plus close to RMNP)

The home was exactly as described. It felt secluded, but still close to town. It was just what our family of 9 ordered. The house was generously stocked, and we had a wonderful time playing games and venturing to Rocky Mountain National Park. The only con is that the trails described in the post are no longer open as they are now private property. Otherwise, we still highly recommend this home and hope to visit again in the winter!

Just FYI, the trail near the house has always been private property—it’s about 1 mile and allows access to the public trail system; however, the property owner closed it off due to COVID-19 and the stay-at-home restrictions that were in place earlier in the year, and they have not reopened it unfortunately. Hoping it will not stay closed forever as it was a quick way to access the Idlewild trail system.

The cabin was comfortable and clean however; on several occasions we had to deal with a polite construction crew. They asked a lot of questions and apologized for disturbing us. We had to explain we were guests and listen to construction noise early in the morning every day of our vacation.

Lovely home in the woods

We loved our stay at the Schmidt Cabin. It felt like home. We cooked every dinner in and were very pleased with all the kitchen items we needed to do so. The place is very spacious and since it was July we spent a lot of time out on the deck enjoying the wildflowers, birds and occasional moose that stopped by. The neighborhood is lovely with lots of open space yet so close to all that you might need in Fraser. Took a trip up to RMNP and hiked Adams Falls and another trail to a lake. Also took the gondola up at Winter Park and hiked up there. We would love to stay here again if life permits!

Quiet, restful and cozy

We loved the layout of the cabin and had plenty of space to spread out but not be separated. Kitchen was well stocked, the cabin is well stocked and technology options are up to date. We love the large Bluetooth speaker to pipe music throughout our stay. I worked remotely from here for a few days, and connectivity is solid. The cabin is close to beautiful hiking and far enough from town that we felt like we were out of town. Highly recommend.

Amazing location and property!

Owners are very responsive and accommodating, The house is beautiful and the location is amazing! The rooms get so dark which is amazing! The neighbor is not friendly at all which was very stressful. Screamed at my husband and kids. For the price this house should have been much much cleaner. The kitchen had crumbs in a lot of the drawers and cabinets. The sheets fell of the beds every night too, maybe a new fitted mattress pad would do the trick.

I cannot say enough about how amazing our stay was. The owners are the best! They are very responsive to any request we had. The cabin was perfect for our family. It's very clean and well maintained and in a area that is close enough to town and yet secluded enough to go on great walks and feel away from the crowd. I highly recommend it. We will stay there again in the future as our 'go to' cabin in the WP area.

Having a home in the mountains is truly a dream come true for us. We live in Denver most of the time, but play in the mountains every chance we get! We enjoy showing off the beautiful Colorado scenery to visitors, and being able to share the mountain cabin with others who want to enjoy it is something we love doing! After all, life is better in the mountains! :)

We bought this property for a number of reasons-- proximity to Denver, size (not too big, not too small), access to outdoor adventure (skiing, hiking, and biking are super close; and Lake Granby is only a half hour away, too), and we mostly love how it is nestled in the trees so you really feel like you are away.

It's amazing what a few days in this quiet mountain cabin can do for ya!

Driving up and walking into this home just feels right. Whether it's the big deck at the entrance, wood finishes inside, or the huge windows that let in tons of natural light, you'll feel good about choosing this place. It's cozy and roomy at the same time, and the location is ideal.
