Amazing location…..so we came back!

This is our 2nd stay at this location….so close to the beach! House was super clean, roomy….and walking distance to the beach. We will certainly return!

It’s ok. Unsure if I’ll rent again.

The house and location were as described. It’s a nice house in a good neighborhood. Those are the pros. The cons, miscommunication on how to check in. I was emailed directions that said to go to El Dorado Ranch at KM 176. That was not the case. It was frustrating. I’m not sure why it took different offices miles apart to check in. Also, excessive security to enter and leave the community. It can be a good thing, but I disliked having to wait in line, give my information and wait for them to write down my license plates every time I had to go through the gates. I understand it’s community policy, it’s just time consuming. In the house, It was obvious that the sheets were not washed since they had yellow stains and hair on them. I went to replace them with blankets in the closet that were also stained. Everything else was clean and organized. Great air system and good wifi. Besides that, it’s a good place with good amenities but it needs better housekeeping and better communication when it came to checking in.

This office is manned in the evening and has emergency service to accomodate visitors. If you can provide more info with any housekeeping issues I will address with the property manager. Christmas Stay at El Dorado Ranch

The condo and community checked all the boxes as far as what was described in the listing. However, the property needs some serious maintenance to make it up to a 4 star rating. A list of the problems follows: 1. The roads in the lower half of the property are not paved and we arrived after a storm which washed out roads and created a lot of mud and wet sand. 2. The second floor shower leaks through into the garage ceiling. 3. The main family room ceiling has a large ceiling stain around the HVAC supply vent. Not sure if that is caused by a roof leak or from damaged duct insulation condensation. 4. The kitchen sink faucet is very loose. 5. Only one of the three under cabinet lights worked. 6. The freezer section of the refrigerator could not keep up and leaked. 7. The fireplace did not work. 8. Be sure to bring lots of your own towels, kitchen supplies and drinking water. The pickleball courts and people playing were great. We had a fun time on the courts.

Unclear check-in process

The online instructions to check in were unclear. We asked for the person we were told and the gate keeper said our name was not on any reservation. I showed the paperwork and he said we were not registered. Phone numbers did not help since nobody answered. We went to an office south of the property and were told we did not have a reservation. Until I said that the owner is Larry, they said that his name was on the reservation not ours. That is very confusing since I paid and my name was on the online paperwork.

Excelent for family vacations

Our stay at Larry's condo was perfect, the place has everything we needed and the resort was very peaceful. The beach is really nice! Larry was very kind and quick to solve a minor issue with the resort reception. 6 out of 5 stars :D

We loved the house, location and facilities. My only recommendation it would be to have more towels available, not only one per person. Also, we didn't find laundry or dishes machine soap as listed. And the leak coming from the laundry closet was a little uncomfortable, but we understand it was something unexpected.

Very clean and spacious, nice location to the beach and pool area. Very quite and peaceful. Limited kitchen bowls and utensils. Overall, very nice and would definitely consider staying again in the future .

Lovely home, peaceful gated community

Very lovely home with everything you could possibly need. This house was perfect for us since we had an 8 month old baby and having a fully stocked kitchen was a huge bonus. We also felt very secured having to check in and out daily, show that we belonged there and carried wrist bands.

Buena estancia, cómoda y agradable, cerca de la playa, solo le falta el servicio de internet para estar completo, en la descripción mencionaba que si tenia pero al llegar descubrimos que no, es bueno llevar juegos de mesa, algún dvd y películas para sustituir la falta de este servicio, fuera de eso todo esta excelente y sin ningún problema.

Amazing Family Vacation

The property was awesome, best place to stay in San Felipe, walking distance to beach, nice clean palapa pool, beautiful home. Plus, always felt safe in San Felipe and the entire drive from so Cal safer than my own city lol. Do yourself a favor and stay here for stress free family vacation. Prepare for days of beachcombing for GIANT seadollars and shells, awesome seafood in malecon, and pina coladas on the beach without breaking the bank! Check out the valley of the giants while here, pretty awesome day side trip.

Perfect location, steps from the Sea of Cortez and the Palapa pool complex. Close to amazing restaurants, and fun stuff like horseback riding and ATV adventures! Clean, quiet, and well kept. Wonderful family vacation!

My girlfriend Shelly and I love to travel, and we enjoy fine dining, working out, concerts, plays, and good movies. We have a very sweet cat named Lily.

I fell in love with this property when I saw a presentation at El Dorado Ranch. The condos are right at the beach front and are Mediterranean style luxury condos. The community has several swimming pools, golf course, tennis courts, restaurants, club house, and 24 hour security.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The El Dorado Ranch beachfront and golf community is amazingly beautiful. The beach and sea waters are warm and pristine. There are views of the beach, sea and mountains. It is a short driving distance to the town of San Felipe with malecon, great restaurants, shopping and activities. My condo has beautiful sea views and just a few steps from the beach.
