Quaint and Comfortable

Clean and cozy with everything needed to make it a home away from home! The views of the lake are breathtakingly beautiful. The owners are quick to respond to guests' needs or requests. You just don't get better than right on the lake. lake

Beautiful getaway!

We wanted a quiet place to stay while attending the Bristol race and found just that! House was exceptionally equipped with everything needed for a weekend stay. Would highly recommend you check this out....you will not be disappointed. And stairs are great exercise!

Super quiet neighborhood

The house was clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and we got good nights sleep. Being on the lake was a bonus. Took a couple of dips in the lake, water temp was perfect. There are plenty of stairs but it is exactly as pictured. The stairs didn’t bother us.

Enjoy Sunrise at the Lake House!

We enjoyed our stay at this location so much. The sunrises at this location were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen! The property was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We found everything needed for a great stay plus some little treats that were not expected. The host responded quickly to any questions or issues we had along the way. Just a note for anyone not able to climb stairs this is not the place for you. There is no bedroom on the main floor so stairs are a must. This is truly a wonderful place that I would not hesitate to return to again and again!

Wonderful Weekend

This is our 20th VRBO stay and this was one of the nicest places we have stayed. Everything was there ready for us. Beautiful place, great views.

Great Lake Getaway

Fantastic location, easy access to freeway, as spectacular as the photos. Nonna was an excellent host - even brought us a mini grill because I asked about the one that they have out back that is waiting to be restored. Could not recommend this place more. My friend and I even talked about returning to this place when we visit Johnson City next.

Beautiful view

The property was more than I expected. Beautiful view of the lake. We could watch the boats from the living room windows. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. A great place to relax and read a book.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Great property offering a wonderful setting to wind down and enjoy life. Very well maintained unit with all the amenities. The owners are fantastic! We'd certainly recommend to anyone seeking a little peace while visiting Johnson City and the surrounding area.

Restful Lake House

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, the beds very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. There were many outdoor activities ranging from hiking to fly fishing just a few minutes away. When we were done with our activities, we were able to relax at your home. The owners were very cordial and responsive.

Beautiful Cozy Home!

This home is super clean and well decorated. It is cozy and spacious and will suit your needs for a short-term or long-term stay. It is equipped with all the cooking utensils you need to enjoy a home-cooked meal. The bedrooms are far enough apart to offer privacy if needed and the main floor offers an open floor plan to allow for enjoyment of the surrounding outdoors from the large windows in the living room. The house is located in a quiet neighboorhood that is nice for afternoon walks and it is 15 minutes from downtown Johnson City. From the house, you can easily access the interstate within 5 minutes and reach any local destination including any number of outdoor activities. Overall, it is a lovely home and the owners are even lovelier and easy to communicate with. I would definitely rent from them again or reccomend one of their properties to my friends.

Very accommodating owner!

Lovely & extremely clean home. Had everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The owner went above & beyond with a cute welcome basket. Beds were extra comfortable & supplied nice fluffy towels. We really liked that there was a washer/dryer as we had packed light. We had reserved a different place months ago & the morning of our arrival the other owner had canceled the reservation (who does that!??). The Home Away rep I spoke to had never heard of that happening. We arrived & somebody was already in the unit & had been there for a month. My point on this is that Nonna the owner of the place we ended up staying at helped us out tremendously in the 11th hour & it was in a quieter neighborhood & a beautiful, well taken care of property. A+

We enjoy spending time in this house as it creates unique relaxing experience right after you arrive there. For us, it may be a presence of the lake/water, mature trees, noise created by geese, fish jumping out of the water, smell of blooming trees and flowers around the area and/or boats passing by (we still can see them:) on the main stream). When lake comes back (entirely), you would be able to jump in the water from the deck (not at this point). Great neighbors around. No traffic.
