Perfect Couples Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Mountain Glory cabin met our every expectations as we arrived for our long weekend getaway. I liked how the management staff was so prompt and informative with our cabin key code so we could get into our cabin as soon as we arrived. The cabin was super clean, up to date, and had all of the kitchen essentials to cook a meal as well as a cozy living room area to relax. The loft bedroom was adorable with the windows to see the morning sun rise. The outside deck overlooking the beautiful mountains was the most special as it really gave you a private feel from everyone, but was located close enough to the main town area for shopping/dining and the Smokey Mountains Park. Hot tub was a bonus to really relax in the evening! We spent most of our time driving through the Smokey Mountains at the various paths, walking the Parkway to the shops and doing the Gatlinburg skylift and bridge. Ate at Trish;s Mtn Diner and the Rampant Lion Pub, grabbed coffee at the Bloom & Berry Coffee House, so many places to choose and were so good!! I would highly recommend this place and hope to come here again!!

Anniversary getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful weekend getaway for our 18th anniversary. Views were spectacular. Relaxed our sore muscles after days filled with hiking in the hot tub. The only downfall was the power went out after a storm for a few hours and we could not find any flashlights or electric lanterns to use. Those would have really come in handy. Otherwise we had a really nice trip.

Bugs EVERYWHERE

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival my fiancé and I were stunned. It looked amazing. The view was just beautiful. We were ready for complete and total relaxation. Upon further inspection, the entire cabin was covered in both dead and alive bugs. HUNDREDS. When bringing this up to management they sent maintenance out to kill the bugs but they did not do anything to clean up the dead bugs. They also offered us no compensation of any kind to remedy the situation....will never stay with Elk Springs Resort again!

Decent Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Entry to the cabin was nice and easy. At first glance it seemed clean, however, toilets (both upstairs and downstairs) were gross. The shower drain was clogged therefore we had to stand in inches of water while we showered. We also had to clean up some water on the floor and the towel was gross afterwards. The cleaning lady left her cashapp which was odd to me, considering it wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. Hot tub was nice and clean though.

Mountain Glory Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cleaning staff is doing ok cleaning the obvious items, such as sinks, toilets, appliances, sheet and towels. However, this cabin needs a throughout cleaning. There is dust on different items that has been there awhile, esp. on wall hangings and the fire place screen. The windows need to be cleaned. There is mold in the bathroom on the walls next to the shower. There is mold and dust on the cealing next to the cealing vent in the same bathroom. The shower curtain needs to be laundered. The furniture piece in the downstairs bathroom needs to be dusted on all sides, not just the front. There are splatter stains on the light bar above the bathroom vanity, as well as splatter stains on the clock next to the pool table and other pictures in the cabin that had glass fronts. The floor in the bathroom and laundry room looked clean but was sticky. You need to get a cleaning crew in there that will turn the place inside out and dust and clean the cabin throughly. Then do this once or twice a year. Then a regular cleaning crew can come in between quest stays and just do the obvious cleaning items; kitchen, baths, sheets, towels etc. I hope you will take my recommendations seriously. Except for these issues my husband and I really enjoyed our stay and would like to come again in the future. The staff was wonderful in the reservation process and answering questions after we arrived. We loved the cabin location and the view.

Enjoyable stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was overall a great experience. There were just a few minor issues. We chose the cabin based mainly upon the view of Leconte. The lack of tables on the deck was frustrating. For the most part the cabin was clean except for small things like the stove knobs. The half bath in the bedroom appears to have been an after thought. There is no ceiling so the sound of the toilet flushing and the bathroom light were a bit unsettling in the middle of the night for the sleeping partner.

It was alright, I was expecting it to be decorated for Christmas, it didn't feel like Christmas at all. Also, the windows needs a good scrubbing, very dirty. But, other than that it was a good place to stay.

Mountain Glory Cabin Stay - Okay, Needs Cleaning

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was okay. Nothing special, especially for the price. We honeymooned here and stayed in the Mountain Glory Cabin. The cabin is relatively private, however no one was staying in the cabins across from us. They were being built still I think. View and hot tub was probably the best thing about this cabin. Also, hot tub is different than the pictures. Cabin needs cleaning! Baseboards, ceiling, surfaces need a serious dusting. Cobb webs and dust bunnies everywhere. Windows super dirty, need to be windexed. The large window showing the mountain view should be highter, and needs a curtain so the sun doesn't wake you at 6am. We found two wasps inside the cabin also. Glad husband was not stung as he is highly allergic. The fireplace didn't work. Called for service, and fireplace was fixed very quick. So the service was nice. Will not be staying in an Elk Sring Resort Cabin again. Too expensive, and the place was not worth the money. We have another cabin in Gatlinburg that we stayed in last year and we will most likely stay in that cabin from now on as it's cheaper, and cleaner.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this same cabin 5 years ago on our honeymoon. The cabin was exactly the same, no updates but still in good shape. Very disappointed to find two new constructions being built right on top of this “secluded” cabin & entire construction team waking us up at 7am Saturday morning with loud dump trucks and machinery running all day. The turn around area in front of the house was torn out and difficult to park our car. We were going to bring our truck & enclosed trailer with quads that we brought last time, thankfully we didn’t because there was no warning of the construction.
