My family of 4 plus our kids friends and in-laws stayed here for a week. The host communicated immediately and throughout our stay. The listing was accurate and the place was everything we hoped for! I would recommend this home for a family who loves a comfortable stay and enjoys nature. The windows along the back to see morning visits from deer, the front deck with all kinds of seating, and backyard fire pit, hammock, and badminton court…it’s summer perfection! Oh and a great location to Twain Harte Lake and walkable to downtown.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin in Twain Harte. The home is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the deck and fire pit made for relaxing evenings under the stars.The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Twain Harte Lake and close to town shops and restaurants. The hosts were very responsive and made everything easy from start to finish.We’d absolutely stay here again!

We love Twain Harte!

This was our first visit to this cabin and my family had a wonderful time. In fact, we adored this cabin so much that we plan to make it our annual family vacation cabin!

Fantastic stay!

Great cabin for families in a fun little town. Choose to Dodge ridge/ Pinecrest area for snow sports. David was great to work with and responsive the whole trip.

Our family of 3 loved our stay, especially the lovely deer walking through the back yard! David was great and easy to communicate with - we look forward to going back next year.

Lovely cabin for 2 families

Sweet, well organized and well stocked cabin with everything needed for a family trip. We had two families each with toddler age kids sharing the cabin for a long weekend and all thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The large front deck was perfect for our family to gathering on. The backyard with fire pit and badminton court was so much fun and a great addition to the cabin. The cabin itself was clean and spacious and a great combination of being updated, but having a rustic cabin charm. A great location...walking distance to the lake and a short drive (or you could walk) to town. We will definitely stay here again.

A Cozy Cabin Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. The property was beautifully kept and clean and David, the owner, was so communicative before and during our stay. We chose this location as it was close to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort. We would highly recommend this place and we would definitely return!

Perfect for a small group

We had a great experience, kitchen was pleasantly well equipped for all our meals, and the large table fit our whole group comfortably. Very clean, and David was a wonderful host. Would definitely come back in the winter for the lovely views and looking forward to a summer stay to check out the lake.

Fantastic visit

We LOVE coming to Twain Harte, and we always stay at this cabin. The lake access is awesome, there are a lot of things to do, and the owners make our stay so pleasant and rewarding. Badminton, fire pit, beach chairs and umbrella, lots of games, brand new appliances and A/C, new windows, all these things made our stay so comfortable and memorable. We will come back again and again.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was absolutely lovely and very expansive so we could really spread out. We loved the proximity to the lake with the children. The check in process was super smooth and communication with the property manager was fantastic. I will definitely stay at this property again. Thank you.

Wonderful Cabin Near Lake in Twain Harte

This cabin exceeded our expectations in every way...it was wonderfully laid out, boasted chic mountain décor, featured tons of amenities from a coffee area and fire pit to a garage full of outdoor toys and indoor games and dress up. There was space to explore outside and a beautiful view of the trees and deer from inside. Communication was excellent and our stay was easy, carefree, and lovely.

The perfect cabin in an amazing location!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It was clean, charming, and rustic with modern upgrades and amenities. It was well-stocked with everything you could want for a fun mountain getaway—a full kitchen, large deck, BBQ, fire pit, badminton net, etc. The location was also unbeatable as it's a short walk to the lake and the cute town of Twain Harte, with tennis/pickleball courts right across the street. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to come back!

Cozy cabin!

The cabin is cozy, clean and well-kept. The host stayed in touch and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a great jumping off point for skiing at Dodge Ridge. We stayed in January and there was a storm, but because we were just below the snow line, travel to and from the cabin from the Bay Area was easy.

Great location, great amenities, great hosts~

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location is close to town, but far enough to enjoy quiet and privacy. Hosts were easily available and responsive to texts in order to help with any requests for information, and were very gracious with a few "perks"! We enjoyed using the badminton court, foosball table, outdoor lounge chairs, and more. We had a great day at Twain Harte Lake, which the hosts set up for us, and did day hikes and swimming at Pinecrest. Outstanding vacation, thanks David!

Enjoyed Our Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this nicely updated, rustic cabin, that is just a short walk from Twain Harte lake. The cabin has a very nicely updated kitchen, as well as two of the bathrooms. In general the place is very clean and comfortable (excel beds with plenty of pillows). The cabin is nestled in a beautiful setting among other vacation cabins and a very spacious deck and pleasant yard for hanging out in. The owners were great to deal with and communicated with me extremely well… Very warm and inviting. We would definitely stay here again.

Well appointed cabin in an excellent location

The cabin was the perfect getaway for Labor Day Weekend. We appreciated the air conditioning immensely on the main level as it was an incredibly hot weekend. The cabin is just a short walk to Twain Harte Lake and extremely close to the quaint downtown area. Communication with owners was easy and thorough. We appreciate the thoughtfulness of amenities and would gladly rent here again.

Great family atmosphere

A short get away with adults and toddler. This cabin fit all our needs. The fire pit was a great relaxing addition. Rainy days allowed for us to play games cabin offered, which were lots of fun. Large dining table allowed us to all eat together. Sunroom windows provided a relaxing view. Loved the 4 deer that welcomed us in our arrival❤️

Lovely homely cabin

Lovely homely cabin. Stayed in February and used it as a base for skiing at Dodge ridge. Spacious with nice beds and linens. Property is set in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk from the lake, which has amazing sunset views. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of cookware, cuttlery and flatware. Communication with owner/property manager was excellent. Would definitely come back.

Wedding weekend

Needed a place to stay while in town for my Son's wedding. Also wanted to have a few guests over for a luncheon. The place is quite functional and roomy. Lots of parking and multiple gathering areas outside home and lots of seating Everything worked and we had everything we needed to make it feel like home.
