Wonderful stay

Place was clean, check in was easy, everything was well stocked. My family and I absolutely loved the place and the closeness to Lake Superior made it even more amazing of a location.

Great home on a beautiful sppt overlooking lake superior. We had so much fun staying here and the kids and grandkids we remember this trip forever.

Perfection! The hosts were great with communication, and were available if needed. Great central location to get to numerous state parks. Grand Marais a quick 30 min drive. The cabin was so well stocked. Plenty of bedding to stay warm. Beds were comfortable. Great jacuzzi tub to relax in. The view of lake from the deck, chef’s kiss! Great little walkway down to the private pebble beach. We had so much fun looking for agates and walking the shore. I was so impressed with this place!

awesome north shore getaway

This was the 6th or 7th time we've stayed at this home and we love it. Great location, lovely home, responsive owners, and everything needed to have a sweet reprieve on the lovely north shore.

Very good property on the lake

This property is as advertised - has a great view and amenities, and was quiet. A very nice deck was great for stargazing and the sauna was a nice extra.

Awesome stay

Awesome location, beautiful views, very well equipped, enjoyed the sauna after a 25 miles hike on Superior Hiking Trail. The Lake is a little chilly ;D !

Great getaway location and place

We loved our stay at the Schroeder cabin! It was the perfect location to relax on the North Shore and for short trips to Lutsen, Grand Marais and Tettegouche State Park. So much to do right around the corner too (Temperance River/State Park, Cross River, Sugarloaf Cove). We loved the Sauna and the close distance to the beach and rocks. The house had everything we wanted and more.

We were very impressed. Great spaces for 8, every kitchen gadget, fantastic location. Loved using the sauna then running into Superior. Very clean, responsive hosts.

Great accommodations

Property manager was very attentive. Property was immaculate and extremely well stocked with everything we needed. Location was wonderful with the beach and deck overlooking the lake. Extremely comfortable and roomy for 7 people for a week.

This was our 5th time staying at this home and it was enjoyable as always. Shadee is a responsive and accommodating host, and we love the location, the home and the amenities provided. We already have our next trip back booked!

Such a great place! Very clean, very well equipped, and so very comfortable! The perfect distance from the Lake and a frequently empty public beach. Far enough away not to be bothered on busy beach days, but easily accessible when other beach goers leave: like having a very large private beach most of the time we were there! Great restaurants nearby, and easily reached biking and hiking trails. This our 3rd stay here and we'll be back!

Love North Shore in the fall

This is our 3rd year staying here and can't wait to come back next year. Our fallcation is a favorite vacation of the summer/fall season. Beautiful area, perfectly located house with amazing views. We come every year to enjoy the fall weather, nature and catch our limit with Tofte Charters.

Anniversary Celebration

This beautiful home was the perfect location for our 40th anniversary gathering. It has easy access to a stretch of Lake Superior shoreline. We enjoyed local hiking, biking, and all the North Shore offers. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and serving, and we had helpful and easy communication with our host.
