I'd like to start with the hosts are very responsive and nice! The place wasn't very clean, there was hair in the tub and all over the shower walls. The bathroom soap dish, toothbrush holder and etc had scum caked up on it. The porch to sit on has ash all over and blunts swept in the corner. The hotel next door wasn't an issue,I've seen others complain but it wasn't an issue at all. My complaint would be I booked an Entire house and upon arrival and reading the guest book of have to pay a extra fee to unlock the other door, which wasn't listed anywhere on booking. And that it didn't feel or look clean.,and the front door wouldn't shut fully for us to lock.We had to leave for a unexpected family emergency and they refunded us 99 of the 150 which was very nice because we were scared we'd be out that money. The house is a very cute and lovely historic building. It's just unfortunate its not kept very clean.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m honestly surprised to read this review, especially since you messaged us after your stay thanking us for allowing you to stay in our “lovely home,” and none of these concerns were mentioned during your stay. I personally inspected the home while dropping off supplies before your arrival, and it was clean and ready for check-in. We also want to clarify that the access code for the second bedroom was provided in the guest instructions, and there was no additional fee required to access the bedroom included with your reservation. We always ask our guests to contact us immediately with any concerns so we can address them right away. Had any cleanliness or door concerns been brought to our attention, we would have gladly taken care of them. When you needed to leave unexpectedly due to a family emergency, we were also happy to accommodate a partial refund. We truly strive to provide every guest with a clean, comfortable, and responsive experience and appreciate all feedback.
