Ugh, I hate to leave a review like this as it's totally out of character. We traveled to WISP as a family of 4 with our 2 boys, our first visit there in more than a decade. Among the negatives – 1- Upon arrival, we found the walkway to be unshoveled, which wouldn’t have been a big deal if it was recent snow, but it wasn’t and since it was raining, it made the snow icy and slippery. 2 - One of the main reasons we booked the house was because night skiing was only available one of the three nights we were there so we thought having the hot tub would give us something fun to do while we weren’t skiing. When we checked to make sure it was heated upon arrival, we discovered it was almost empty except for a small amount of water and ice in the bottom. 3 – The management company was difficult and unresponsive. We had issues with check-in tied to my drivers license photo, despite being told days before it had been received and resending it via text (unsecure) and email when asked and had to go to the office upon arrival. When we called about the hot tub and stressed it was important to why we booked the property, we were told it would be a priority request and they would have someone out there the next morning, but not only did nobody come out in the 3 days we were there, we received no follow up from them, despite being told someone would follow up on Monday. Positives – The property was warm, well stocked with books and an incredible amount of DVDs and clean.
