Eagles Nest House est une maison ouverte et lumineuse de 4 chambres et 4 salles de bains, située dans la communauté de parcours de golf Exclusive Eagles Nest. Accès facile à 5 domaines skiables, au golf sur place, au lac Dillon et à tous les divertissements que le comté de Summit a à offrir. Avec une grande disposition, cette maison offre un espace et une vie privée excellents pour un groupe ou une famille. Plafonds voûtés, ensoleillés, spacieux et adaptés aux enfants.

Le premier étage de Eagles Nest House dispose de 2 chambres avec une salle de bain complète dans le hall. Beaucoup de rangement pour les skis, les planches et l'équipement dans l'entrée et un garage chauffé pour 2 voitures. Au premier étage, le niveau principal de la maison est composé de plafonds voûtés sur 2 étages et de baies vitrées pour profiter de la vue sur la montagne et la forêt. La cuisine moderne a des tonnes de comptoirs en granit, d'appareils électroménagers GE Monogram en acier inoxydable, d'un refroidisseur de vin et de boissons. le salon confortable dispose d'une cheminée, d'une télévision grand écran avec sono Sonos, d'une Apple TV et d'un système de son surround. La cuisine est ouverte sur le salon et la salle à manger et peut accueillir jusqu'à 12 personnes à la table. We loved the house! …great place for 3 couples. Getting in and checking out were easy. The house was very clean and had all be basic supplies needed (and then some). Information in notebook was helpful. I appreciate the communication when we had a heavy snowfall and what to expect. I really appreciate the flexibility in check-out timing (thank you).The instructions were a little too generic (I guess written for all properties managed) – no lock box with keys, only one key, no hot tub. It would have been nice to have two garage door openers, one for each car to use. These aren’t big issues…just some things to think about.Although I haven’t seen visitor journals everywhere, I enjoy reading what other visitors think, are from, or what they’ve done while there…and putting down our group’s experiences for others to read.

Wonderful stay

My family was there for a wedding. We had all amenities we needed. The outdoor deck was pleasant. All furnishing were in good condition. The location was great for getting into town. There was plenty of parking. Only concern was the warm temperature on the loft floor. It stayed warm when the outdoor temps dropped in the evening. Overall we would return to this property.

Beautiful home with plenty of room.

The home was spacious and we had beautiful views. It's the perfect location and near several ski resorts. If visiting during the winter I would highly recommend chains for your tires if you don't own a 4WD. We had a difficult time and had to purchase chains. Had a great time and would highly recommend this home.

Summit Ski Trip

The unit was almost perfect for our group of 9 including 7 adults and 2 children ages 10 and 12. We skied 4 different resorts over our 6 night stay. The kitchen was well stocked with more than anyone would need and the dining table easily accommodated our group. We would definitely come back to this place which is close enough to everything in Silverthorne.

Townhome was a good size. It fit all 8 of us nicely. Floors could stand to be cleaned a bit better as our socks were really dirty after just a couple of hours each day. It took a bit to get the TV up and running as things were unplugged and the batteries in the remote were dead. The neighbor had parked at the end of the driveway for some reason while my spouse was still there. They did move it hours later when she realized she was still there (vehicle was in the garage).

Perfection

Our daughter was getting married nearby. We needed a house that could hold 10 extended family as we came and went from the pre-post wedding activities. This house was a perfect house providing privacy for our family. The property managers were excellent communicators. We had no issues. We tried to be respectful to the neighbors who share a driveway. We had a lot of vehicles and a trailer. The garage fit our trailer perfectly. We were able to park the other vehicles over to the right to provide room for the neighbors to enter and exit. The two fireplaces were well used during our stay. The large kitchen and dining area were spacious. We will reserve again when in the area.

Excellent duplex

We had a great time. The house is in wonderful condition and the property managers were very attentive. Tastefully decorated. There were lots of nice touches like free individual boxes of laundry detergent. The gas fireplace was beautiful and warm. Most of all, the ceiling was very high in the main living/dining area, which made the place feel palatial. Two notes: First, this is a duplex, which is a bit hard to tell from the picture unless you're looking for it. However, we never noticed our neighbors. Second, the property managers asked me to sign a contract after I had already booked on VRBO (charging my credit card) even though this condition wasn't in the description. However, I brought this up to them, and they were very professional and agreed I didn't need to sign the contract. I don't know if they have re-written the listing to mention the contract. Also, keep in mind that the main living area and one of the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, and another bedroom is on the 3rd floor. You end up doing a fair amount of climbing if you're moving around a lot during the day. Would definitely stay again.

Listing was not accurate, place was broken and gross

Upon arrival, the floors and counters were dirty. In the listing, it showed very sturdy baby gates and cribs. These were huge selling points for us being families with 4 small children. There were 3 staircases - One of the (only) 2 gates provided didn’t fit and just laid on the stairs. One stair case was left open our entire stay. This caused us a lot of worry due to a 15 month old and a 10 month old. One of the crib mattresses was dated 2008 and was a hazard for the 10 month old baby who got stuck face down because the mattress was so worn. We ended up needing to use a pack and play for that baby. The downstairs crib was converted to a toddler bed with no rail attachment to convert it back to a crib. We actually had to turn the crib around (making it difficult to use since it’s so tall) so the 15 month old had somewhere to sleep. The blinds in one of the basement bedrooms were broken making it difficult to use the windows. The shower on the lower level was less than ideal. It drained slow and leaked, lowering the water pressure. The couch is broken and a piece of sharp wood was exposed. The 2 fans provided were both broken, so we ended up buying our own. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s and typically have good things to say, however we would definitely not recommend this place due to the listing not reflecting the amenities for the price that we paid.

Insufficient baby gates

When we arrived at the rental, the built in baby gates that were pictured in the listing were not present. There was one available plastic dog gate in the closet for the two stair wells on the main floor. Not only was the one insufficient but it was a huge pain to use, definitely not convenient for entering and exiting while holding a child. The property managers did bring over additional baby gates but they were tension style and again, difficult to operate and not at all convenient or particularly safe, as one of them was actually broken. If the baby gates that were shown in the pictures were present, this house would have gotten five star reviews across the board… however, the gates and cribs were the reason we chose this property in the first place. Also worth noting that the cribs are in rooms that do not black out, so if your child is used to sleeping in darkness, bring your pack and play and put it in the master closet.
