The family had a good time in Galveston. The probperty was about 4 or 6 blocks from the beach. We rented a beach cart anyway so that we could drive to the beach and around to see the neighborhood. The property was clean and very familly oriented. The grandboys loved the bunk beds. It was well stocked. We only had to buy a couple of items but that is because we had 2 grandboys with us.

The place was really nice and clean. A home with a lot of love in it. Owners were amazing and so sweet and prompt when needed. Will definitely recommend and use again!

The house was very spacious. We appreciated the prompt communication and accommodations. If traveling with small children, take note that the top bunk beds are not safe for them. The ladders are not attached and there is no rail on one side (the side away from the wall). We were not able to let one sleep on top (and he sleeps on a top bunk at home) as planned, so we were a bed short.

Excellent House

Although the bunk beds are not conducive for adult sleeping, there are no complaints with our stay. We extremely enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located to the beach, a store and just a short drive to the seawall.

Good family vacation

My family and I spend the weekend after Labor day at this house to spend some time away from the daily routine. The house is comfortable and have plenty space for a large family. Kids loved the ocean experience also the house is just within walking distance. We have a good time and we definitely recommend this place.

Fun 4th of July celebration

Great house. Nice neighborhood. About a seven minute quiet walk to a good part of the beach. We were pleasantly surprised to get to see a firework show from the backyard!

Great stay

Small bbq pit took a really long time to cook for a house full of people. Check in time was later than advertised. Group before us filled the trash cans and we had to haul our trash away instead of using trash cans that should have been available. Roku's did not work but in the living room and missing batteries in 3/4 of the remotes Kitchen area supper clean with everything we needed to live for the week. Had a blast small walk to the beach but lots of fun. We would go back again.

Garrett B Sorry we had to remove the BBQ because someone almost set the house on fire. We have since got one mounted out from under the house. Please come back and try it out! I am sorry for the delay in getting into the house we cannot control when someone trashes the house. The check in is 5 , but the 2 maids had to work for 8 hours cleaning so you could have a spotless house to use. We can compensate you by giving you a discount next time you stay with us. The extra batteries were under the TV. And all remotes needed worked the Roku however was not plugged in correctly. Please in the future call and I can walk you through getting them to work. The renters before you might have taken them out and the ones before me might have replaced the batteries. who knows we cant control how the previous renters behave. Again stay with us at a discounted rate next time.

The property was a great location right off the seawall. The pics doesnt do any justice to actually going to the house, it was very homey. We stayed this pass weekend for Lone Star.

We had a great time all and all.

We did have a good time there was plenty of room for everyone which was nice. Aswell as a great location. With that being said we felt the price was to high for a property in such disrepair. Master bath had big path of paint peeling from the walls aswell the floor boards aren't even connected to each other properly the railings on the deck are not secure felt if we leaned on them they would fall over ontop of the house having a major ant issue. The host on the other hand where very kind and hospitable over all we might consider this property in the future after some changes are made.

4th of July Vacay

This was our 2nd stay at this house. We really enjoy this house due to it’s location and beach access. It is farther down away from all of the crowds and there beach is just a 5 minute walk and not overly crowded with people. The neighbor hood is nice and quiet as well. Our family had a wonderdul stay!

Family Beach Trip

My family and I wanted to spend the weekend at the beach as our kids love the beach! We wanted to stay in a house instead of a hotel because we were bringing my Mom along with us. The house was perfect for my family of 7! The kids all stayed in the kids room each of the 4 having a bed, my mom had a queen bed, and we had a king bed. The space was perfect! The pictures of the house were exactly what the house looked like. It was in walking distance of the beach which was perfect. We made multiple trips to the beach during out weekend trip. My kids loved being able to walk there at night! I could not of asked for a better place to stay and nicer owner’s to allow us to stay in their home. We are wanting to go back again but stay longer next time!

Great weekend

The house was very close to the beach. Beach was nice, not over crowded like on the sea wall. Checking in and out was very easy. House was older but was very clean and welcoming. Nice quite neighborhood. Really enjoyed our stay.

Stay was excellent we have a good time with our family first trip together .

Nice distance from beach was a walking distance enjoy every moment with all the family nice to have the ability to cook for the family, joy the living space to have the ability to spend with the family instead be lock up in separate rooms.
