Great vacation

We really enjoyed staying at Mikes place. Quiet with a beautiful view of the marina. Very well stocked for all our cooking needs and very comfortable bed. So convenient to restaurants, beaches and boat landings

Nice, quiet, relaxing; enjoyed the area & State Parks; saw Manatees, dolphins, snakes, birds, alligators, sandy beaches & all people very pleasant! Would suggest putting the tennis/pickle ball court is on site

Beautiful location, great views, not far from a beach, small town, and slow relaxing atmosphere. Owner was awesome, nice, highly responsive and helpful. Unit was clean, plenty of space, 3/4 wrap around porch was amazing, kitchen was perfect and had everything needed. I would recommend a washer and dryer in the condo. Everything was great!

Thank you for such a great review , housekeeping said you left the condo spotless and thank you for that. I tried washer and dryer but walls are 12 in concrete including the sub floor and that’s what makes it storm proof. There is a coin laundry room down stairs that helps a lot. Thanks again Mike

Better than expected!

The photos don’t do it justice. Easy check in, check out, and communication with the owner. Everything was very clean upon arrival. The master bed was very comfortable, water pressure was great, and everything was provided that was needed for a stay! First time user, and will definitely be rebooking! Thanks for sharing:)

Great location

We enjoyed our stay at Mike's condo tremendously. He was a great host, very responsive. The condo is a bit 'tired' but still very decent. No surprises and that's good. We loved this part of the Panhandle.Friendliest people imaginable and fantastic weather for ten weeks. Shopping is good in Crawfordsville and we found a great church, River Of Life. Thanks Mike, we'll be back.

Beautiful property

My husband and I decided to vacation in Florida for 2 Florida state games. I found this place and decided it would be close enough to Tallahassee but far enough to not deal with the big city! This place was perfect! The condo itself was very comfortable and well stocked! We enjoyed sitting on the patio looking at the boats in the bay! The pool is nice but we didn’t spend much time in it. The bed is so comfortable! It’s a king size sleep number and we slept the best then we ever have in a rental! We are talking about coming back next year! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Mike was readily available but we didn’t really need to contact him as everything was easy and available! The pictures don’t do this place justice! Stay here, you won’t regret it!

Very Nice Place & Community

We really enjoyed our stay. Mike is a very pleasant person to speak with and helped with all our questions. Unit was clean and very well stocked. I liked that we could walk out the door and get on boat and go fishing. Very good restaurants in area also. People are very friendly .This unit will be our go to for now on when we are in the area. Like being at Grandpa's cottage!

Our unit was homey and very comfortable. We felt like we were visiting grandma and grandpa's vacation home. It is obvious that it has taken years to collect some of the unique decor and we loved all of the fishing photos. There were some cute plaques that makes one feel they are in a home with a lot of love! The first 2 days we fell asleep shortly after sitting in the rocking recliners because they were so comfortable! The bed too, was very comfortable and the blinds allowed us to darken the room for a great night's sleep! The bathroom has plenty of room and the shower was great. The kitchen has everything you will need for cooking. We enjoyed the 3 sided porch every evening and loved the fact that we could choose the shaded or sunny side depending on the weather! After visiting central Florida for several weeks we really enjoyed the laid back and extremely friendly feeling of this part of the gulf. We had delicious food at the few places we visited and would go back for the restaurant choices alone! Although a bit of a drive, there are a lot of state parks and a national park in the area! We especially enjoyed going to the lighthouse!

Great view from second story porch

Though a one bedroom unit, we easily fit 3 teen girls and two adult women. Convenient, well stocked kitchen, roomy bedroom, sufficient living room space and two large screen televisions with satellite feed. Fun week experiencing a section of Florida we knew nothing about. Sites and activities in the general area need to be driven to but then you get to see the natural beauty of the bay, gulf, forests, and beaches. (Watch out for the no see-ums at the beach and around the pool especially in the evening.) Thank you for renting your place.

George’s Lighthouse Pointe

Mike’s condo was a very comfortable, relaxing place to explore the “Forgotten Coast” of Florida and surrounding area. We felt right at home in his Condo as we enjoyed our adventures in the surrounding area from St. Mark’s NWR, to Bald Point SP/Alligator Point, and over to St. George Island. This area is the ideal place for those that want to slow down and recreate at a much more relaxed pace. We’ve been to many other places in Florida, enjoyed them all, but this place leaves the hustle/bustle behind like nowhere else. There are many wonderful places to eat nearby and all shopping needs (groceries, etc) are just 15 minutes away in Crawfordville. We had the pleasure of meeting our host, Mike, and he was very accommodating to make sure we were well taken care of. Ochlockonee Bay is a beautiful area, has wonderful, friendly people, and if you’re looking to wind down, enjoy a more rural, wild, natural part of Florida, you can’t go wrong with this Condo. Game weekend

We stayed for an FSU game weekend. The place was as described and had what we needed for the weekend. There are not many close grocery stores so be sure to bring in what you need.

Relaxation by the marina.

Mike was great. Very detailed instructions. Property is secured with a gate code. Everything we needed was provided. The king bed is soft and comfortable. Basically clean except in a few areas like the ceiling fans and baseboards. For 5 stars the A/C should not wake you up whenever it comes on. Also, the bath fan and bath rusty storage rack need to be replaced. Small cost to replace with a big difference in perception. Pool, tennis court, and little marina were all great. Two restaurants within easy walking distance.
