Pool Side Guest House sur le lac Hudson près de Pryor

Belle maison de deux étages sur les rives du lac Hudson, l'un des premiers lacs de pêche de l'Oklahoma. Notre maison d'hôtes est une maison de 2 chambres, 2 salles de bains récemment rénovées avec une véranda avec vue sur la piscine.

La chambre ouverte à l'étage a 2 lits queen avec aa air conditionné / chauffage et ventilateur au plafond séparé. Il ya un placard et une commode pour vos vêtements. Les moquette aider étouffer le bruit des petits pieds de fonctionnement. Belle vue sur notre station de 5 acres peuvent être vus sur les grandes fenêtres.

En bas a un salon / salle à manger / cuisine ouverte. La cuisine a une cuisinière électrique, micro-ondes et d'un réfrigérateur. Entièrement équipée avec casseroles / poêles, vaisselle, verrerie, mijoteuse, mélangeur, grille-pain. Surface habitable a un canapé-lit double, avec le nouveau matelas de gel qui peut être le plus confortable matelas jamais! La chaise rembourrée est un endroit confortable pour s'asseoir et profiter de toutes les décorations et antiquités uniques. La table ronde peut être le lieu central de rassemblement pour les jeux de société, jeux de cartes ou des puzzles de travail. Mural TV avec antenne.

Si vous êtes un lève-tôt, la deuxième chambre à coucher est pour vous. Il est, une porte en bois épais pour aider avec le bruit, séparant votre suite du reste de la maison. Il ya aussi une porte d'entrée séparée de la véranda. Installez-vous dans la matinée pour prendre votre café et écouter les oiseaux chanter. A l'intérieur, est un lit queen, TV avec antenne, commode, kitchenette avec mini réfrigérateur, micro-ondes et une cafetière. Votre salle de bain séparée a une douche à l'italienne.

Dehors, vous avez un gril, une table de pique-nique et un espace ombragé pour profiter de la vue et de regarder votre famille. Vous pouvez avoir un feu ouvert dans les foyers prévus, il ne faut pas oublier d'apporter les fixations pour s'mores! Avez-petits? Ne vous inquiétez pas de la piscine étant si proche comme il est clôturée pour leur sécurité. Votre, zone ombragée de la famille est clôturé / protégé sur trois côtés, donc ils auront un endroit sûr pour jouer. De l'autre côté de la station (50 verges) est une aire de jeu séparée avec une balançoire pour bébé, balançoire cheval, petit toboggan et jouets à enfourcher.

Volley-ball, le kayak, les fers à cheval et l'observation des oiseaux sont quelques-unes des façons de profiter de la propriété. * Grande pêche sur le quai ou louer notre ponton pour une journée sur le lac. Pêche, visites touristiques ou des tubes sont d'excellents moyens pour profiter de l'eau.

Besoin de plus d'espace? Nous avons une maison superposé avec deux salles de bains supplémentaires, cuisine, télévision et air conditionné. Il est mis en place avec table et chaises pour manger ou jouer à des jeux. RV sites, cabines et aire de camping disponibles pour vos amis ou la famille qui voudraient se joindre à vous.

Wonderful hideaway

Small campground on the lake. Peaceful even though it was Rocklahoma weekend. We picked this place because it was close to Rocklahoma. The Inn was well worth the money. Large open kitchen, dining, and living room with 3 bedrooms. Awesome covered deck.

Exactly what we needed

Linda was extremely prompt in responding to any all questions, and her directions were gold! This property was exactly as advertised! Walking to the lake in the morning was beautiful and peaceful! The screened porch was perfect for coffee with my mom and sister in the morning and dinner in the evening. The bed’s were comfortable and the decoration was just right to feel homey but not over done. Amid all of the stress of this last year this property is was the perfect escape with no contact needed. Linda even gave us delicious homemade pickles. Do yourself a favor and stay here!!

From Overland Park, KS to Adair, OK

My husband chose this property to be away from people due to Covid. The property was very nice and Linda & Fred were very accommodating and attentive to the few things we needed. My brother, his wife and our mom stayed in his RV and we rented the Guest House. The guest house slept 6 comfortably-2 adults and 4 teenagers. The main floor bedroom is huge with it's own kitchenette. The Guest House has all the kitchen amenities. BYO shampoo/conditioner. We toured the other properties (bc we have more siblings and would return) and can say they were all VERY clean, decorated with fun antiques and welcoming for any ages! There was a large very nice room on the property that had a stove, full fridge, sink and several long tables/chairs along with a tv that has a/c for large gatherings. The a/c was very loud but they were having that fixed and would of been perfect for meal sharing/card & game playing. The lake is beautiful and very peaceful. There is not a sandy shore for swimming and is very shallow for about 100 yards before adults cannot touch. It is a muddy bottom (so no rocks which is nice.) They were not chartering the pontoon boat due to the inability to social distance. We would definitely return and appreciate the kindness from Linda & Fred and the Horseshoe Inn & Campground. Don't forget to ask Linda about the Mexican Petunia's!

Welcome respite from Covid2020

Linda is a wonderful host and we were thankful that there were accommodations available at the last moment. The campground sits on the water and the surrounding area is lovely. Linda was able to provide us with recommendations on places to eat and where to get groceries. The guesthouse is very nice and comfortable. The screened porch with the view of the pool and water is most welcoming. Most importantly... the beds are very comfortable. We were there in late June so the AC ran all of the time, but made the house very comfortable. The only short fall is that the bathrooms are very small, you literally have to sit sideways on the toilet, if you are very tall. Overall, our experience was very pleasant and we would return if the host will have us.

Wonderful for children

If you have kids this is the place for you. We were looking for a stress free location and not to busy for our two children. Our house was a little walk to the water. The pool was also really nice. We were able to let our two year old play in the pool. The whole inn was very clean and well kept. We will definitely be back next year!

Amazing!

We actually stayed in The Lodge. We were upgraded when the guest house was unavailable. It was amazing, quiet, adorably decorated. The beds were comfy, cozy. All we needed to bring was food, everything was furnished. Ms. Linda is sweet and very accommodating. We had a wonderful stay and already planning next year's trip!

Excellent Accommodations at Horseshoe Inn

Due to flooding we were unable to stay at the Pool Side Guest House but the owners were very generous and relocated us to The Lodge. Excellent accommodations and owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. If we were to require lodging in the future at Lake Hudson we would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to family and friends.

The Lawson Family Reunion

We had a family reunion and rented the inn and guesthouse for the week of July 4. The properties were nice and Linda and Fred were gracious hosts. It was hot and humid and oh my goodness...the June bugs and May flies were horrendous. None of which were avoidable. We had an unfortunate accident with a mirror falling and cutting my 4 year old nephews little face. Medical care was not too far away, but a pharmacy to fill the Rx was. Unfortunately it was only the second day of our reunion so the poor little guy had to stay inside for most of his trip. Overall, we had a nice time together and his cute little face is on the mend. Thank goodness for air conditioning and pools. The lake was beautiful, however I think everyone would have enjoyed a beach area to relax and let the children play in the sand and water and maybe a small fishing boat to rent. It was a pleasure to host the Lawson family reunion. Yes, it is hot in Oklahoma in July. Thank goodness for great air conditioning and two pools! The May flies were extremely thick year. Unfortunately, we can not control nature. We do have a pontoon boat and kayaks available. Oklahoma does not have sandy beaches. I have had sand hauled in twice to try and .make a sandy area. However, it just gets washed away. Our shoreline is rock lined in most places to keep the shoreline from deteriorating. There is one place that can be accessed for lake play. Thank you for your business.

After 25 years traveling with the Air Force, I retired in 2002. My dream was to have a place on the lake and host travelers/families. I bought the property in 2002 and started working/building to that end. We built a Cabin in 2013. Added a Victorian Cottage in 2014 and we finished remodeling the Guest House in May of 2015.

We purchased the adjoining property with dreams of opening an INN and building an RV park. It has taken a lot of work and determination to make our dream a reality. I wanted a place where families could come, relax, enjoy the lake and just reconnect with each other.

I love to entertain, decorate, garden, go junkin' and act as 'camp counselor' during the holiday weekends. You will find antiques and horseshoes used to decorate throughout the resort. I love rusty tin and it is used on ceilings, walls or back splashes in the Bunk House as well as our other properties.

We have started hosting country weddings with lots of burlap, red bandannas, hay bales and big wagon wheels as decorations.We have a beautiful, shady spot picked out on the lake shore for the ceremony and the reception area can be in the bunk house or pavilion.

I love the park like setting. It is very shady and peaceful. After 25 years of living on or near Air Force bases, I didn't want to hear any more jets, fighters or sirens. I wanted quiet, and I found it here.

When we added 800 sq ft to the Guest House, I wanted lots of space for families to spread out in a little footprint. Being poolside offers lots of advantages. You can watch the kids from the shade of the screened porch and still be with the non-swimming family members.

And since I love to decorate, I really had fun with this property. All the comforts of home are available for you here in our little slice of paradise.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The Guest House offers fabulous views of the lake and wildlife. We love to watch the deer come across the lower yard in the evening to drink from the lake. We've seen red fox, beaver, raccoon, armadillos, possums, squirrels, and birds of all kinds and colors. My favorites are the Orioles and Cardinals. We have even seen wild hogs and deer swimming across the lake. (I didn't know they could swim either!) I also love the screen porch.

Horseshoe INN and Campground is great for large groups and family reunions as well. With RV spaces, camping sites, the INN (sleeps 18), the LODGE (sleeps 16), CABIN (sleeps 2), COTTAGE (sleeps 4) and Bunk House there is room for everyone.

There are swings, benches, and out of the way seating areas placed across the property that will just call your name and invite you to take a seat and enjoy the surroundings.

Most comment on how quiet and peaceful it is, and I agree, unless there is a game of volleyball or softball going on!
