Everything you need inside the apartment and conveniently located near large grocery superstore, with easy access to walking trails by the river and to the ferry to Plymouth. Simple drives to Dartmoor NP. Friendly and very helpful hosts. Top marks for everything!

Our stay in Plymstock

This is a lovely flat owned by lovely friendly people. Everything you need is in the flat and the hosts supplied milk, tea, sugar and even eggs for when we arrived. We will definitely stay here again in future visits to Plymouth.

Annual Plymouth Getaway

Ideal for a couple's getaway! Short walk to a regular bus service into Plymouth and then plenty of destinations to choose from! Easy car journeys to the coast. Good and bad weather plenty to do and see.Very helpful owners. We have stayed before and will stay again!

Plymouth holiday

Very comfortable and very clean. Hosts are very welcoming with tea milk and coffee. We found it very helpful in visiting family and friends so near for visits then coming back to a very comfortable flat in the evening. Margaret @ Bill

Spacious and comfortable

Due to the weather we spent more time in the apartment than we planned. So the comfort and spaciousness was much appreciated. Milk, tea, coffee, etc was a bonus..

Nice Apartment just outside Plymouth

Very clean and well equipped apartment just outside Plymouth. All main attractions can be reached by car in less than 20 minutes and several main bus routes are a mere 5 - 10min walk away. The double bed is very comfortable and for my daughter (10) the hosts kindly put a fold up bed in the living room. The Apartment has access to the garden which we didn't use very much. A laundrette is a mere 5min drive away and the apartment has a drying rack.

Cold Damp and Filthy Dirty

We had to leave this property early. The mould in the bedroom and shower room was making us feel un-well and we both were getting headaches. The amount of condensation on the bedroom window was un-bearable. Curtains and blinds were black with mould indicating this is a long term problem. Everything including the bed smelt damp and musty. The black mould behind the toilet was horrible and the flush would not always work. The owners have control of the heating from their part of the property and initially refused to turn it on. They called at the door on 3 occasions telling us they wanted to keep cost down by not using the heating. The place was very dirty with thick layers of dirt on appliances etc. It was also a fire trap! There was only one very old smoke detector in the living area when there should be interlinked detectors in both rooms. Even the battery was 3 years past best use date. They clearly are just in it for the money and the property should not be rented out in this state. Luckily we found a fantastic place close by for similar price.

Untrue comments, please see the other 96 reviews. Unfortunately this guest was blackmailing us for money with threateneing to give us a "damning review on VRBO". The flat was extremely clean and mould free when the guests arrived, we have never had guests leave it in such a bad state before, so much so we have had to redecorate the bedroom and bathroom. I can assure you that the flat is not damp, does not smell musty and complies with the fire regulations although we have now installed a sealed fire alarm which can not be tampered with! We have always had our guests best interest at heart which shows from the many lovely comments in the reviews as well as the many more in our visitors book. The flat can also be as warm and cosy as you want it to be, many comments in the visitors book mentioning this with many guests revisiting.

Nette Ferienwohnung im Vorort von Plymouth. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Die Gastgeber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Parkplatz an der Straße war immer vorhanden. Ein schöner Aufenthalt, wir haben es genossen.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt

In der Wohnung fehlt es an nichts, sie ist sauber und ordentlich. Der kleine Willkommensgruß (Milch, Tee, Kaffee) war wunderbar. Tipps für Ausflüge gab es als Mappe und persönlich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und sympathisch und helfen gern weiter. Plymouth ist ein guter Ort, die Gegend (Moor, Strand,Herrenhäuser, Parks…) zu erkunden. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und empfehlen die Wohnung aus ganzem Herzen weiter.

Excellent comfortable stay as usual

We have stayed at this property several times because the accommodation and location is ideal for when we visit family in Plymouth. We were flabbergasted to read the one star review, this is definitely not representative of the property or hosts who are always extremely helpful. If we are planning a visit to Plymouth we always try this place first but it is very often booked up so we were pleased to return this year over the Christmas period. We had another very comfortable stay.

An excellent stay

This was the perfect place to stay for our short break. All very clean and tidy and plenty of room. It was easy to find and communication with the friendly owners was excellent. The location proved to be perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so easy to get where we needed for the walks on the SWCP that we had planned. Great selection of DVDs - we watched a film every evening! This was also good value for money so overall we're very happy.

Absolutely couldn't have asked for a better place :)!

Very welcoming, it has everything you need to feel at home and the hosts were friendly, & helpfull. The location is perfect (quiet and safe, near a grocery store, and easy to catch transportation from). We were a group of 3 and the flexinility the host allowed made my graduation experience a lot more stressfree. I will definitely be looking to stay here again when I visit plymouth in the future.

Excellent property a real home from home.

What a gem this flat is nice quiet area, and only a few miles from Plymouth. Lots of parking on or off road. The flat has everything you need, it is very comfortable and well maintained, we would not hesitate to stay there again.
