The space
Beach Retreat has a fully equipped kitchen, TV , comfortable beds, a great shower, large back patio which is a glorious sun trap and has seating and dining for 6.
The front patio has unobstructed views 180% along the coast, 3 golden beaches a cafe and shop onsite with a beautiful easy coast walk 2 mins away.

There are no steep steps to reach the entrance to the chalet, you will walk straight into the Living room through glass patio doors at street level. The chalet is located at the quieter end of Bovisand Park ....the only sound is the crashing waves and beautiful birdsong although at dusk you may hear the rustling of the badgers passing outside.

The allocated parking is moments away from the chalet. We advise you to pay your parking fee as soon as you arrive. The meter is located 3 chalets down towards the public toilets. This is a third party parking company and they are strict about time, we do NOT want you to get a fine.

Sit on the front patio or the comfy sofa with pull out leg rests and watch the Naval ships passing, surfers riding the surf or the colorful sails of the sailboats in the regattas.

About 25 steps away from the chalet is a small private beach that is not used as much as the other 3 larger beaches. I've had that beach all to myself on many occasions, it was heaven!
Guest access
The whole 2 bedroom chalet is yours. It is a detached chalet with front and private enclosed back patio and a side walkway.
Private secure parking.
Upon arrival you will need to purchase a weekly parking ticket 35 pounds for the week( summer rates) from the parking machine located 3 chalets down beside the public toilets. Walk towards the coast path and you'll run right into it, very close. Please do this when you arrive as this 3rd party company are strict and we do not want you to get a ticket.

We love our pets but sorry NO PETS ALLOWED IN THE CHALET.

The Car Park itself is operated by a third party and a parking fee is payable on site of £4/day or £35/week. (Summer season ) Payment may be made by cash, c/card, Ringo or phone on arrival.
You can purchase a Pay & Display parking ticket (35 pounds for 1 week) at the parking meter located 3 chalets down beside the public toilets towards the coast path.

The chalet is located towards the end of the park a cream chalet 4 from the end. Once inside the chalet you will find your Visitor Parking Pass located just inside the front door on the right hand side of the wall. You need to put both the parking pass and the parking ticket on your dashboard. If you plan to have more than one car then please be advised that this will incur a daily/ weekly parking rate.

The keys to the chalet will be in the secure lock box on the property. The front lock can be a little tricky so just pull it out slightly before you turn it and it should work fine.
In the living room there is an instruction manual for all appliances and the location of switches etc.
No gas allowed on the property.
Please remember to leave the Visitors Pass and keys back in the lockbox when you leave. Thank you.
