Yearly Family vacation

Building relationships and memories with our children and grandchildren is a priceless endeavor for us parents/grandparents. We enjoyed this location and the beautiful home. This home is high on our list of favorite places to spend time together.

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful. You can tell the property was well taken care of. You are definitely in the middle of nature with all types of animals walking up. The views are amazing and the people at the administrative office were very helpful. The only issues we had was the microwave didn’t work at all. We did email and got not response. Overall the whole experience was very pleasant, and we would definitely stay there again.

Weekend stay

Overall good experience. Just few things that could use improvement. Bedding and pillows were not good at all. The kitchen table even though clean looks very dirty. Outdoor decks should of been clean of the leaves and branches that fell in the fall. No umbrella for the front deck table and no patio chairs for the rear deck. The first floor bathroom door does not open and close properly due to it scraping on the floor. The walls need some touch up paint starting to show the west and tear. Fridge and freezer were found with old food upon arrival.

After an extra charge, they forgot sheets

We arrived at the property in the evening to find the towels and sheets we paid extra to have were not there. The owner forgot to order them. The linens were not delivered until the next evening. The owner refused to do anything to compensate us. He just said he was really sorry he forgot. I’m working to get something refunded but so far VRBO has done nothing. Absolutely maddening.

Perfect stay for Long Holiday weekend

Absolutely amazing! House was way more Spacious than listing leads it to be. Amenities from resort and house were very enjoyable! Russ was very easy to communicate with! Definitely would recommend this place for large families/multiple families. We had 15 there and it fit perfectly and comfortably. Definitely hope to be back to this home away from home!

A sad experience

The property itself was very good, room for all and easy access. However, My experience with the community office was not good, as fact it was sad. When I walked into the office to get passes for the great amenities, there were several ladies behind the desk. I waited while all of them noticed me and ignored my presence. Finally, and begrudgingly one of them walked up to the desk with a look and attitude of disappointment, not to utter a "hello or good morning. This unsolicited reaction reached my spine and crawled up my neck. I HAVE SEEN AND FELT THIS BEFORE! The ladies in the office are not nice and differences in skin color obviously irritates them. The property was good along with the manager. But the community office staff was sad. I will not go back. My recommendation is if your of same race as those int office, your fine to go. But I beg my people to please stay away!

Beautiful home, perfect for a group

This home is stunning! It had great bedrooms and was perfect for a group. The large dining table was great for big group dinners, and the cook space and Island made it easy. We will be back next year!

We had ana amazing stay. The house was beautiful and described perfectly. The beds were very comfortable and showers great. We were a short walk to the top of the mountain and loved having the deers walk through the yard all day and night. Lots of room for all. Thanks again

Spectacular!!!

My family and I stayed here for a weekend and we had a great time. This house is so BEAUTIFUL , the picture don’t do justice! We were a group of 10 (5 couples), and we all able to have our own bedrooms. Loved how comfortable the king size mattress was. We also loved how all the bedrooms had smart TVs. The kitchen was beautiful and with a huge refrigerator. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful which was great. Russ was great with communication and quick to response to any concerns. Only down fall is you do have to drive for a while to any local stores. Besides that, our stay was awesome and we will definitely be staying here again. I highly recommend this house to anyone.

So hard saying goodbye to such a great home/weekend

First off Russ was great. I tried to book a home that he told me was not available, but got back to me right away with an alternative which was this beautiful home. Favorite part of the home was the high ceilings and fireplace. Not to mention the pool table with a wet bar in the basement. So entertained in the home no need to leave. Kitchen was beautiful which was big enough for my whole family to cook together as we love to do. All I did was spray disinfectant everywhere just for precaution, but otherwise the house was spotless upon arrival. I didn't have to reach out to Russ one time during my stay which was awesome. Garbage disposal was literally down the street, and we didn't have to stop at an annoying booth to register. We drove right up to the home which had plenty of parking in the driveway for everyone. My husband and I have rented plenty of homes in the Poconos, but I must say this was the most stress free process. Russ left us a nice welcome note and a bottle of wine that was very welcoming. Rental Price was affordable for such a great stay. My guest cant stop talking about what a beautiful home and a great trip this was. The only thing is the location, if you need a food store I believe the closet one was 30 minutes away, so make sure you are fully stocked. Already looking to come back up to the Poconos in a couple of more months and the first person I will be calling is Russ!!! Thanks again, Jade :)

Amazing weekend in a beautiful home!

My family & I wanted to get away for the weekend and decided to rent out a house. I came across Russ’ place and pictures did not do justice. The house was the perfect size for my family & I (we were 15 in total) It was so clean, welcoming and beautiful. Not to mention it is so spacious which was perfect for the kids. We had an amazing time there and I wish we would have booked longer. I definitely would like to come back again in the future. Thank you Mr. Russ for lending us your beautiful home!

Family Birthday gathering weekend

We booked this property to have family time celebrating my father's 81 years young Birthday. Our family of 15 people enjoyed our stay. Every one was very impressed with the house. The house was very spacious and the multi generation all enjoyed their spaces. The house is very well supply with almost everything you need. We all wished we had more time to enjoy the house and the community amenities. The pictures are very accurate but the actual is even better.

Wonderful family get-away

We rented this house with 14 people (3 families). The house and property were beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Also very spacious and comfortably fit all 14 of us. The community has so many great activities for the kids. The only downside was that you only get 8 passes for the amenities (pool, lake, horseback riding etc). You can purchase 4 more but no additional. There is a limit of one pass per person per day, so every day we had members of our group that had to sit out of activities. This was not very clear to me from the description and I'm not sure we would have rented with such a big group had we known. The women in the office were pretty rude about it. I'm sure they are sick of answering the same questions every day, but we were a bit surprised by this limitation. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent again with a smaller group. The property owners were readily available with any questions. Overall it was a lovely vacation.
