Cozy Cabin Situé à 10 Mi. S de Nauvoo. Situé juste à cÎté du fleuve Mississippi!

1 Chambre w / 1 lit queen. 1 salle de bain w / douche (canapé w / inclinables, et queen blowup matelas disponibles, plus transat supplémentaire). Cuisine complÚte (cuisiniÚre électrique w / four, réfrigérateur et micro-ondes) avec coin repas séparé. Salon w / TV, WIFI, et DVD. A / C et chauffage électrique. En dehors de hangar pour le stockage, ainsi que d'un grand parking. Construit en 1901 w / inférieure à la moyenne plafonds.
Pas d'animaux ou de fumer à l'intérieur. Impossible de dormir jusqu'à 6. Il comprend aussi un patio de briques isolé, entouré d'arbres, comprend un anneau charbon, table de pique-nique et feu. Le chalet est situé à distance de marche d'une aire de repos pittoresque juste à cÎté de la riviÚre Mississippi. La riviÚre est visible à partir de la salle de séjour, une chambre et salle à manger. Appartenant à l'Etat la propriété le long de la riviÚre se trouve à quelques kilomÚtres de distance et est disponible pour vos activités extérieures et les jeux de ballon. Aigle examen durant les mois d'hiver et de la randonnée à travers les bois ou le long de la riviÚre peuvent tous commencer à l'emplacement paisible de cette cabine.

Love this cabin experience!

This is a historic fishing cabin. It’s quirky but Julie has worked hard to keep it clean. The decor makes it quaint and cute. She is always assessable and do kind. We have stayed here on multiple occasions and have enjoyed it.

Cute quiet clean enjoyable private little cabin

Adorable older cabin, but is very nicely decorated. Clean and presentable with nice amenities. Outside is welcoming also with a wonderful patio having much to enjoy. Only concern was soft flooring in kitchen. Bed could have been a little more comfortable.

What a great cabin! The host is fantastic very easy to communicate with. The location is perfect right across from the beautiful Mississippi, lots of beautiful nature. Got lots of photos of the deer , frogs etc. The flowers are stunning all around the property. A lot has gone into this place with nothing left out for a fantastic stay. Most definitely found our place to go and unwind for sure, plus is it’s only around 2 hour drive. What a GEM!!!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful cabin.

Just Slept Here

To be honest, I pretty much just slept here at night I didn’t do much else. The listing is perfectly accurate, so you should know exactly what you’re getting. The porch swing and view of the Mississippi, especially at night, is incredible.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin! The cabin was extremely clean, had everything we needed (towels, bedding, basic kitchen supplies), and the ac unit kept up even in the heat wave we were experiencing (plus there are several fans you can move where desired). It has a beautiful view of the river, and the outdoor garden/patio space is stunning. The host even shared some tomatoes and peppers with us - yum! Yes, the floors are wonky and the ceiling is low in places, but it adds to the unique character of the place (granted, a 6ft person may be bothered more by the ceiling height in places, but we weren’t). Our kids loved this place and we’d stay here again! Great price, location, and overall stay! Thank you!

Great little place

Welcome! I'm Julie and I live just up the driveway from the cabin. My Dad built the home I live in, and I grew up on this hill. As you can see from the cabin, I love flowers and enjoy that as one of my many past times.

Since I am a local, I feel that I am a good resource for some of the local happenings in the area. Feel free to contact me. I might know of special events and activities in the area that are happening during the time of your stay.

Being a property owner to the cabin has been an adventure. The cabin has its unique personality that isn't necessarily fitting to each person. However, those who have stayed have seemed to enjoy its charm. It is also nice to meet many of the guests who choose to stay.

I am happy to accommodate some requests. My hope is that you enjoy the views of the Mississippi River and can disconnect from the hustle of the modern day. Sometimes we just need that break!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This is a nature-lovers dream, in my opinion. The neighbors are quiet, but kind. The ever-changing river throughout the seasons create different views to enjoy. And, you never know if you will see the "most beautiful" sunset. This area was my childhood home and I loved it then and love it now. The charm mixed with the nature is very enjoyable to me and I hope it is to others as well.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The cabin has been standing since 1901...that alone is amazing to me. This property has more room inside than you would think. Despite some of the uneven floors and lower ceilings, the cabin is not on a rustic level, but it also isn't like a brand-new build with all the modern bells and whistles.

Overall, the view from this Cozy Cabin is amazing. From the Mississippi River to the birds and other wildlife in the area it can be seen from the living room. Romantic sunsets can be enjoyed often. Not everyplace has these views!
