Beautiful home

We enjoyed this home and would stay here again. The pool was lovely. Everything was in working order. As stated in previous reviews it is isolated, however, we did not have to walk far to order a cab. The resort transportation was reliable during the day but hit or miss at night. Also, be aware that you need to bring anything you need that is consumable including trash bags and paper towels. No big deal. Other rental houses we have stayed in have provided these items but be aware that you need to include these purchases in your trip to the store. There is toilet paper and shampoo.

Nice house but kinda isolated from rest of property

Our stay at this property was interesting to say the least our first day there our airport shuttle driver couldn’t find the place exactly we turned around and around going from streets to Street triangle two find it until we accidentally stumbled upon it each time we left the property to try to go to a nearby resort like bahia principe grand tulum or something like that whenever it was time to come back to the property they did not know what casa estrellas 24 was. To leave the house so even catch a nearby shuttle was like 15 minutes or more of a walk. We didn’t realize till we got there how important it was to rent a car to be able to take ourselves places because calling a taxi was always an issue of direction for them to get inside the place truly it was crazy how nobody knew where Casa estrellas 24 was. The two Jacuzzis were hard to manage and even fill up by the time it was our last day and we ask for someone to come fill it up even they didn’t know what was going on it seemed as if it was broken. Also on the last day a lizard came into the house and found its way into my room and stayed on the ceiling I was not comfortable sleeping there and went to another room. As nice as the house itself was it was really troublesome leaving the property to find taxis and then even more so to come back to the property because nobody really knew where it was until we got the hang of using the map to guide them our self. The place is very misleading and it would be a recommendation for you to tell people that it will be difficult for them once inside the place to get around unless they for sure have a car. To top it off on the last day when we were trying to leave very early to go to the airport the airport shuttle transfer guy took 30 minutes to get to us because he was lost I contacted the airport shuttle company through ‎WhatsApp and they sent me his number even after I sent him my location he was turning around and around and around and we had to walk out a good 15 minutes to meet him. Think wisely before booking with this property because as nice as it looks it has its faults

The whole point of the property is privacy, you have the most beautiful residence of all resort, thats why we recommend renting a car, no one get lost with google maps locatin we sent you, the thing is you didnt know how to use it, its not our fault, the both jacuzzi in the property works well, also, you didnt know how to use it, we send you the instructions, very easy, and when you couldnt we send you the personal to help you, they went twice to help you and you didnt open the door, next time rent a car and learn how to use google maps and whatsapp location features, very easy, no one has problem with that, and last thing, if you ask directions to the house at the resort by the name of the street everyone knows where it is, you tell them just estrellas 24, you need to tell the street name we give you when you make the reservation, its that simple

The house is not as represented in the pictures

The house is not as pictured. The pictures you see must be several years old or from when the house was new. The roof top patio cover/shade is new in the pictures but is currently very dirty and moldy with active bird nests. Not all outdoor furniture pictured is at the house. The roof top patio hot tub barely functioned, leaked and is much smaller and dirtier than the pictures indicate. There is no grass by the pool area as pictured. It is now ant infested rock. This was very disappointing as I was planning on having the grass area for my small children to play on. The blue interior hot tub was not usable because of scum and scale build up. We filled it once but the foul smell and cloudiness of the water made it unusable. We stayed for 14 nights and the pool was not maintained until I contacted the owner to tell him the water had turned cloudy green from the lack of water/chlorine maintenance. Other pool houses I have rented on here for extended stays where maintained weekly. Not in this case and as such the pool was not usable for the last few days of our trip. The dishwasher and washer/dryer are very dirty and we did not feel comfortable using them. One bedroom air-conditioner was very loud and another one leaked a lot of water so we had to keep a garbage bin under it to collect the water. Be prepared that you will need to buy almost everything you need such as toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, and similar home staples. Renting a vehicle is a must and we did so based on other reviews. The directions to the house and the map location provided are a bit confusing. No one at any gate could tell us how to get to the house. Stressful after a day of travel. There is a security camera viewing the pool area that was on and was an invasion of privacy. After leaving me a great review and offering discounts on a future stay, the owner charged my credit card $150 for damage that we had nothing to do with. A bed frame was drooping at a corner. The owner asked me about it and I told him that I noticed the bed was like that upon arrival. Unbeknownst to me, the owner just charged my credit card $150.00 for what was pre-existing and I am sure the fix was just to install a bolt that had come out. The resort across the highway is not worth the expensive daily cost to enter. We went one day but left in less than 2 hours. The food and drinks there were not good and you have limited access to the resort amenities unlike the description provided.

first of all , I did not charge anything , that's a complete lie, all your review its a lie, all the pictures are recents, all the furniture is new and its the same that the pictures! there is no ants in the patio like you say, we fumigate weekly, the pool also is cleaned weekly, the interior hot tub its not dirty, what are you talking about?, there is no leak of a single air-conditioner, and if you had a leak we didnt knew you should told us, I just can't believe what king of person are you to tell all those lies, all in the house work, all hot tub, all the jacuzzi, if you couldn't get them to work you should told us to help, we are always a simple message away to help you, we have a concierge, we send you all what you needed, the resort is one of the top resort in all Mexico, if you don't like the resort why did you came? we did not charge you 150usd, that's must be another charge from another thing in your credit card and you want to blame me? shame on you

Awesome getaway

Location is not as scary as noted although it could be complicated to find the house at first. Once you figure it out you will appreciate the privacy and peaceful location. The house itself was everything we hoped for. Clean, pretty, and comfortable. Loved the pool and the sun! Definitely will consider again.

A great stay in Riviera Maya.

We really enjoyed the house and the surrounding properties. The logistics of getting around is an issue, so we would definitely recommend getting a driver. The surrounding area is a little scary to take on with a rental car. The property and golf course is stunning and the casa club made it very easy to get back and forth to the resorts.

Great Experience at a Wonderful Property

We have been coming to the area for decades and renting on the Bahia property for three years. Getting around be by shuttle on the property or taxi and colectivo off property is fairly easy. A rental car is a godsend for groceries, etc. By far this was the best equipped house we have stayed. Dozens of dishes, cutlery and glassware. Once we were shown how to use the stovetop and oven, we had no issues with any of the appliances. We had everything we needed and more. The house is beautiful, we loved the space. Plenty of room for ourselves and any guests. We had friends staying nearby, and our house was the meet up spot for games and dinners. We all enjoyed the outdoor space very much, the pool is fabulous. Communication with owner was easy and he was very responsive, and he ensured that requests and concerns were immediately addressed. Good suggestions for taxis, health care, groceries, etc. We really loved this house, and will be back, and rent again from the owner.

Don’t be fooled—not as described

Do not be fooled by the description in the listing. This place has 4 nice bedrooms—not 5. There are two inflatable beds on top of a closet. There are also no notes in the house about the location of the inflatable beds. Our kids spent the first four days sleeping on the couch and patio cushions until the property manager sent someone to show us the beds and inflate them. There was also no extra bedding or towels provided until we complained. I paid for 12 people (we only had 11 with us) towels and bedding were only provided for 8 despite the amount paid for “extra guests”. The “sofa/futon” described in the listing is not a pull out couch...it’s a sectional that slides and separates when you sit on it. Do not count on it for an sleeping space. A bedroom has a door and a closet—the owner is trying to pass the living room off as a bedroom because there is space to put a blow up bed. When I argued that I paid for a 5th bedroom as per the listing they said that the living room is the 5th room. The listing has now been updated to accurately reflect only 4 bedrooms—a little late for my trip though. There were not enough dishes or bowls in the house to make meals for 11 people. The description of the property says “luxury” and fully equipped kitchen. The refrigerator had broken drawers and no door shelves. The dishwasher was broken for most of our stay, the maintenance man came to fix at nearly the end of our stay. Be prepared to purchase every item you need to cook a meal......including salt and pepper. Every consumable item must be provided by the guest. The stove is also broken and the pans are warped so only the center heats up. The house is isolated and a rental car is a must. Do not believe the description “2 minutes from the beach”. It is a 10 minute car ride to the Bahia Resort. The pool is nice but most of the lawn furniture on the upper level is broken and the cushions are rotten. This is not a well maintained or supplied property. I would not rent from this owner again.

Hello!, there is misunderstaing of all adress on the review, first, we provide with all the information of where is located all items at the house, in the main entrance there is a sheet on a pedestal with all details, besides we provide that info by email and instructions, and also we provide with personal assistence for our guest if they need something, always, just need to ask, inflate beds are at the rooms closets, and extra bedding, towels, etc, if you need more we provide them at no extra cost, we are advertised like 4 bedroom, not 5, the client misunderstood the publication, it clearly says 4 beds, 3 king one queen and 3 extra inflate bed, the app was marking a 5th room as the living room , it was an error and it was fixed, we have enought dishes in our kitchen, we sent even more because the guest was requesting extra bowls for salads and we purchase them and delivery to her right away, dishwasher its perfectly working, all you need is the right soap, not regular soap, wish was provided when the guest asked, also all the stove pans works, not only one, maybe guest didnt know to use them, we provide with a video explaining how to, and all furniture is brand new, the outdoors can get dirty because of the wind and dust but are cleaned in every reservation, the house is within the resort, one of the most big and beautiful houses in all the bahia principe resort!, not have to drive to the resort because its in it, we recommend renting car because its a big resort, hope this clarify all

Beautiful Property, A Bit Isolated

This house served as an incredibly tranquil home base as we explored the region. All the amenities were in great condition, amazing climate control in the house, lovely kitchen that felt easy to prep food in, etc. In retrospect, it would have been nice to know that this was the only house on the street that was occupied, with many of the other lots still under construction. We were far from the beach (you definitely need a car to stay at this property) and were not expecting the strange (and expensive) packages that we would need to buy in order to access ANY food or drink at the resort.

Thanks!, glad you enjoy your vacations!, you have privacy like in no other place!, there are several property in the street that are occupied now, but not near ours so you will have complete privacy here, we recommend renting a car or using the free shuttle at the resort for moving around, its simpler that way, all food packages at the resort are all included, and they have special discount for our guestm and you can purchase them only for the day you need, and there is also only breakfast package witch is very cheap and you can use it in all 25 restaurants and bars at the resort
