Privée, sécurisée et confortable pour quatre personnes, cette toute nouvelle maison est située dans le village côtier de Bahia, à seulement 300 mètres de l'entrée Playa Colonia du parc national marin "Ballena".
Son emplacement juste derrière la forêt de la plage du parc national, à moins de 200 mètres de l'océan, offre une brise quotidienne et le son magique constant des vagues de la mer.

La maison a été créée selon un design de couleurs tropicales combinées qui rappellent l'origine colombienne du propriétaire. La brise marine est renforcée par des ventilateurs de plafond modernes dans les deux chambres, le salon et la cuisine. Un sol en céramique local clair complète la fraîcheur du design.

La climatisation fournit un refroidissement supplémentaire dans les deux chambres. Les lits queen size sont confortables et équipés de draps et oreillers 100% coton.

La cuisine entièrement meublée est joliment décorée avec des carreaux de couleur locale. Il forme un espace unique avec le salon et crée une continuité avec le jardin extérieur et la piscine grâce aux multiples portes et fenêtres coulissantes grillagées. Vous pourrez profiter de la télévision à écran plat avec connexion Android sur le canapé et les fauteuils confortables, tout en discutant avec vos amis à l'extérieur.

La salle de bain est joliment décorée et équipée d'un système d'eau chaude et d'une douche «cascade». Il y a un système d'alarme et un coffre-fort pour les objets de valeur. Salle de lavage avec laveuse et sécheuse.

La terrasse extérieure spacieuse autour de la piscine offre deux chaises longues confortables, un grand parasol pour vous protéger du soleil et un barbecue pour votre cuisine en plein air. Les serviettes de piscine sont fournies. Vous naviguerez sur un Internet sans fil confortable à haute vitesse (fibre optique, 20Mbs), ou tout simplement vous baignerez et vous allongerez, en regardant la jungle côtière et en admirant la vue d'un papillon, le son d'un singe hurleur ou la vue d'un paire d'aras écarlates hurlant!
La piscine (6x3,5 mètres) a des escaliers intérieurs et un banc intérieur confortable où profiter du coucher du soleil avec une boisson fraîche et une douche extérieure "tour". Un éclairage lumineux permet de profiter de la piscine la nuit.
La place de parking est privée, fermée et éclairée la nuit.

Aucune voiture de location coûteuse en 4x4 n'est nécessaire… Le village de Bahia (une ancienne ferme qui est devenue une destination touristique après la création du parc national) est également facilement accessible en bus public. Il accueille tous les voyagistes organisant des excursions en bateau à la mi-journée du parc marin ou des excursions quotidiennes vers l'île Caño et le parc national du Corcovado, plus éloignés et spectaculaires. Vous pouvez vous promener à pied ou à vélo, aller à la plage et faire une promenade à marée basse jusqu'à la queue de baleine mondialement connue; surfer une vague à Playa Colonia quand la marée monte; reposez-vous dans l'un des sodas locaux et dégustez un poisson frit frais ou un jus de fruit naturel; ou tout simplement acheter de la nourriture et être de retour à la maison ……… tous à quelques centaines de mètres d'Alegria Tropical!

The house is beautiful. It has everything you need to have a good time. It is well located, you could walk to the beach and can go to nearby beaches and other places by car. There are a lot of supermarkets close by car and highly recommend El Hornito restaurant, you can go walking and enjoy really delicious empanadas.

We spent a wonderful month at Alegria Tropical. We did not have nor did we need a car, walking to local grocery shops, restaurants and the beach within 10 minutes, calling on readily available Ubers when needed. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bedrooms airconditioned. The peaceful setting and the privacy of the pool were a pleasant surprise. We will return without hesitation.

Great Pool Bungalow in Uvita

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautifully decorated bungalow in Uvita. Even though the ocean is nearby, the pool was a very welcome refreshment.

My two young sons and I loved our time here! The place is truly excellent in every way. Gorgeous home in a gorgeous setting, perfect pool, peaceful and beautiful neighborhood, laundry on site (which we very much appreciated), lots of wildlife, great kitchen facilities for cooking. The instructions given before our stay were thorough and clear, and really made everything very easy. Would definitely return, and hope to!

Communication was great with explicit directions for both check in and location. What a clean and safe house. The pool was delightful. Plentiful hot water, great to have A/C in the bedrooms. So close to the beaches, restaurants, and a farmers' market. Perfect for two couples.

Great place for the price

Easy to get to, great location within walking distance to beach. Communication and villa instructions were timely and very complete. Pool at the end of the day was fantastic. We loved morning coffee in the hammocks. Snorkeling at Cabo Island was amazing.

We cannot say enough good things about Alegria Tropical. It was the perfect spot for our family of 4. The house was exceptionally clean, well-appointed, and the pool area was awesome. All of the communication from our host was clear and came well in advance of our arrival so that we were prepared and knew what to expect. When we had a question about the security system, the house manager arrived in person to help us out, which was great. We were prudent and followed the suggested safety measures and felt totally comfortable for our entire trip. The location was perfect for us- a quick walk to the beach and some good restaurants. We didn't rent a car, but took Ubers everywhere, which was super easy. We loved Uvita and loved our stay at Alegria Tropical. We absolutely recommend it.

A true gem

Alegría Tropical is a true gem, hidden from the busyness but super central. Walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants. Tucked away with a sweet pool and all you will ever need.

My husband and I went with our two friends and loved this house! The house is charming and we saw many birds and wildlife just in the yard. The parking and house were secure with locks and an alarm. The house is close to walk to the beach/national park and there is an Argentine empanada place a few minutes walk away that is well worth a stop. We enjoyed using the pool daily in the afternoons to cool off and relax. Beds are comfortable and AC in the bedroom is a nice touch. Plenty of space, and the owner is very responsive and helpful. We would happily book again next visit!!!

Short Stay in Uvita

We enjoyed the ease of this simple, cheerful, little bungalow, reasonably close to the beach, and appointed with what you need. The plunge pool was refreshing on the terribly hot days we had during our visit. The bedrooms’ AC units worked well. Especially appreciated that each bedroom is en suite. Only thing missing was coffee:)

Jungle home steps away from the beack

This beach house is tucked away at the end of the street in a local neighborhood. Very clean, secure and well appointed. I would highly recommend. Note: while the property does have hot water it is in the kitchen sink only and not in the bathroom shower. A great getaway with complete seclusion yet close to where you want to be.

Lovely stay for couple and preschooler

This little house with pool close to the beach was a good fit for us and our almost-three-year-old. I didn’t think we’d use the pool, but we spent more time in it than at the beach! I took off one star for a minor housekeeping issue that was easily dealt with, but the house was clean and well-equipped. The neighborhood seems safe, but be aware there’s a lot of security if that’s something that turns you off. Lovely and easy stay, and we’d rent again.

Loved the pool and privacy of the yard. The beach was a 10 minute walk away no big deal, not pretty and water was very mucky and daily fee to get on beach, not a plus. The town of Uvita kinda dumpy. The towels, and sheets at the property need an upgrade, the beds were rock hard, so our backs took a beating. I had to buy hangers, as there were like 5 total, other than baby clothes hangers, not useful. Otherwise for the $ it was good.

Excellent House for 1 or 2 people.

The property manager was very efficient and the house was very well equipped. Unfortunately, without any warning, the local road leading to the house was closed for repair, and this proved to be a major problem when we were ready to depart, but the property manager was extremely helpful in helping us and refunded a bit of the rent as compensation for our inconvenience. The walk to the beach was about ten minutes, and there is an excellent Spanish restaurant nearby. We left the house before our contract was up because the weather was very wet, rainy and humid. This was unusual for this time of the year

Beach Jungle Paradise

The house was so cute! The pool was absolutely delightful! We spent one day just hanging out by the pool and saw a lot of cool birds including a Toucan and an Aracari. We could hear the howler monkeys in the distance. Minus the noise of some nearby construction, you definitely feel like you are in the jungle. It is also nice that the beach access is very close as well as two good supermarkets. We had everything we needed. As we were about to leave, our car wouldn't start. The property management helped out and called a garage to come help when they couldn't get close enough to jump the battery themselves. That is true kindness! Thank you again! I hope to stay at Alegria Tropical again in the future. Pura Vida!

Perfection

This was our first 4 nights of a 14 night Costa Rica adventure. 4 adults in all. Perfect location. The pool was wonderful after a long day. Loved the quick walk to the perfect beach with cute bars and restaurants along the way. Whale Tail beach is awesome. Waves from opposite directions and the water is bath temperature with no undertow along the entire area. The house is set on a dead end road with other nice houses. Felt very secure. Bedrooms stayed cool. Laundry was a bonus. The safe in the house was appreciated. The sound of the Howler monkeys each morning was wonderful!!! The McCaws are everywhere a well. Close to free and pay falls in the area. Just an hour or so to Antonio Manuel. Great grocery store 2 minute drive away. Will be back for sure!

I am the youngest of three sisters (owners of the property). Originally from Bogotá Colombia , I grew up with a big passion for nature , having the opportunity to explore some Natural parks and to interact with locals as a volunteer during my time at the university and as part of my first jobs. 14 years ago I got the opportunity to work with an international cooperation project here in Uvita - Costa Rica, and I fell in love with the community and its effort to preserve the Marine Ballena National park. Years after , thanks to the support of the local tourism business and residents, I started in 2007 my own business " Uvita Information Center" , where I and two more girls assist travelers to enjoy our tourist attractions. And this allowed me to know from firsthand the tourist preferences and needs, thus creating a vast experience on this matter. Now Uvita is my sweet home. I have the privilege to enjoy daily this paradise with my dogs (Bracco and Dulcinea) , cats (Azulita and Furetto) and friends. I like spend the days working, surfing, doing yoga or just admiring the magical wildlife showing up everywhere in this always surprising Country.

Even if the Marine Ballena National Park is the main attractions in the region, there are not many options of lodging at walking distance from the beach, especially in the Playa Colonia area. The actual offer is limited and more oriented to low budget travelers, so that's why the zone has a lot of potential for vacation properties for travelers looking for more comfort. The location still preserves a beautiful forest along the beach which makes it very special…it has almost 3 km of beach for your enjoyment! Little by little, the area is growing with new restaurants, lodging and tour services close by.

The house is unique in the area, because it is built with a tropical, colorful and rustic design mixed with all the facilities and comforts that travelers are looking for at a reasonable price.
This is one of the very few houses located at few meter from the beach. You don't need a 4x4 car to get to the house, and also just biking can be an option during your stay.
