The home was perfect. We had a wonderful time. When we arrived, the house was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. The area is great, there is a lot to do with great beaches, car shows and spring training. We are disappointed that we won't be able to stay next year but we want to thank Richard, he was a wonderful host.

Fun in the Sun

Have stayed several times; home is always clean and comfortable. We enjoy the pool and the location is great, close to several beaches and restaurants. Looking forward to spending more time there in 2026!!

Wonderful Stay

This property was everything we were hoping for. It was clean and spacious and well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers made beach days so comfortable. The pool and outside area was amazing amazing amazing.

This house is beautiful, clean and it was a pleasure to stay for a month. The owners and managers were very helpful and very kind. My only regret is that I couldn't reserve for next year.

Great Vacation!

The home was clean and comfortable. It had everything my sister and I needed for an enjoyable week. Pool was wonderful, close to restaurants and beaches. Richard was great to work with and answered all my questions. Rotunda West is a great community. Looking forward to spending more time in Florida in 2025.

Peaceful retreat

Well appointed home, very clean and very peaceful area. The lot's southern exposure directly on a lake is a major plus. We enjoyed watching the spectacle of a wide variety of birds and other fauna from the pool and lanai. The owner was responsive. Communication was easy and always polite. A very peaceful holiday. We plan to rent again.

Immaculate Home in Quiet Neighborhood

My family enjoyed our stay at this lovely Rotonda West home. The floor plan is inviting for families - a large, comfortable gathering space that opens directly to the shaded patio and pool/spa, plenty of bureau/cabinet/closet space accommodating longer-term stays, abundant linens and kitchen supplies, extra large washing machine/dryer, and family extras such as bikes, pool/beach toys, etc. The beds are very comfortable and there is a ‘den’ off the main living area where the kids can watch their own movies while the adults enjoy a few moments of peace. Very clean, very easy vacation. Thank you!

Nice place

The owner, Richard, was amazing but the property manager is totally a nut! He didn't respond to our requests but he suggested we should reach out the owner. Everything was good except John & Maggie, the property managers, and the cleanliness was not good. I assume we left a better clean house than we found!

Ahi, I am disappointed to hear you were not happy with our property management team. I understood you had one minor issue that I dealt with at the time. Seems a little harsh to be calling anyone a nut! This is the first occasion we have received any criticism of them. I will be feeding back your comments and ensuring whatever communication problem existed for you will never happen again. Additionally, we have never had any level of complaints on the cleaning standards of the management team. I obviously take this very seriously and will ensure the standard of the property reaches the highest standard in line with that benefitted by all the previous guests.

Paradise

From the minute we opened the front door, we knew we were home (away from home). This West Rotondo home lacks for nothing. It is beautifully decorated and extremely clean, The sunset views,- the nature sounds,- the pool and spa, -the safe neighborhood,- all contributed to an amazing stay! The bed was extremely comfortable and the appliances and tv all easily operated. We have stayed other places where you need an engineering degree to operate the home. We cooked a lot while there and the kitchen is well stocked with the tools you need to prepare any meal. We also appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and coolers that were supplied for the beach. The owners, Richard and Alex, were incredible to deal with. So pleasant and easily contacted. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a Florida stay and WE definitely hope to stay again.

Delightful villa and location

We spent a week here in March and, having stayed in a number of properties over the years in this locality, I have to say this is our favourite. The lawn area beyond the pool and sun deck is very pleasant and being south facing was a real bonus as we enjoy the all day sun.The property is in excellent condition and was very clean indeed (best we have experienced to date). Our compliments go to the cleaners and property management team. The pool was also very clean.Everything you could possibly need is provided including a number of bikes, cool bags and chairs and towels for the beach etc. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a gas bbq provided.The Internet connection is fast and Wi-Fi strong throughout the property. I managed to do a spot of work from my laptop connected to the Wi-Fi, sitting outside with no issues at all.We are very appreciative of being able to stay here and cannot thank Richard and Alexandra enough for their kind hospitality. Hopefully, we will visit again in the future.

Nice House in Nice Neighborhood

This was our second time staying in Rotonda West. It is a very peaceful area that is great as a base camp for beaches and other adventures. We wanted a clean house where we could set up our family and be able to cook meals, play games, have space, etc. This house met our needs. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a washer/dryer for cleaning our clothes - which helps us not have to pack as much. The pool was a bit chilly, but that was nice for cooling down on hot days. We loved having enough beds for all of the kids and we felt secure with the pool alarm on the doors. We had one question about the pool and the property manager came over within minutes to address our concern. There were also chairs and umbrellas for the beach, which we used quite a bit and which were very handy. We would definitely stay here again when we're in the area. The one thing that wasn't ideal is that the garage is very short so it wasn't possible to park our rental car (mini-van) in, which wasn't too big a deal since we just left it in the driveway.

Florida vacation

Family of five stayed for a week at this property. Overall the house was pretty clean, the only issue we ran into was the pool. It was a little green with algae our first night, it got worse the 2nd day. I contacted the pool guy as instructed in the welcome packet. When I didn't get a reply I contacted the property manager, still no reply, so I emailed the owner. They were able to contact the property manager and pool guy. The pool was cleaned and clear within a couple days. Other than not being able to use the pool for a day, our stay was pleasant. They do recommend the pool area not be used after 10pm, due to the neighbors complaining of noise, so if you plan on using the pool late at night, look for another property to rent. We also saw some crocodiles in the pond area behind the house, the house does have alarms on the doors if you have children for safety. Overall the house was very comfortable, I would recommend.

Thank you Novrlette. For the benefit of those reading this please may I add that the request is only to not use the pool after 10pm and not the pool area. We have had issues with pool parties where high spirits and jumping in the pool at 1 and 2 in the morning has resulted in complaints. Use of the pool deck after 10 is obviously acceptable and to be honest for over 2 years now guests have totally respected this request and have been sensible and considerate when socialising on the deck after this time. With regard to the pool. We have taken on board this issue and from here on we will advise all guests prior to arrival to make contact with our pool guy and management team as soon as any sign of any potential problem with the pool is identified. This way our pool guy can sought the water quickly with little or no inconvenience to guests.

Sehr schönes Haus mit tollem Ausblick

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen, gepflegten und sichereren Wohngegend, dies bedeutet, dass landestypische alle Unternehmungen wie Einkaufen, Essengehen, Strand etc. mit dem Auto zu erledigen sind. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten und die Ausstattung ist seht gut. Der Pool mit Whirlpool lädt zum verweilen ein. Der Blick auf den angrenzenden See zwischen Loch 1 und 2 des Golfplatzes ist sehr schön, man kann auch den ein oder anderen Alligator schwimmen sehen. Ein paar mal hat sich auch einer an das Ufer zum Sonnen gelegt - einfach traumhaft. In Summe können wir das Haus durchwegs empfehlen, die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer und zur Betreuung vor Ort war auch sehr angenehm. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A+ stay

Owner very helpful & quick with replies. Property fully equipped & nice to have a BBQ with propane, bikes, chair's and cooler for the beach all supplied. Heated pool was hot for swimming (in January) - couldn't ask for more. Expect to return.

We had a fantastic time

My wife, 2 children and I had a wonderful time staying here. The home was very comfortable and well appointed and the cooler, beach chairs, towels and toys for the children were great as well, especially since this was our first beach trip where we took a plane vs driving. The pool and patio were excellent with a beautiful view and we spent many hours out there enjoying after going to the beach. Richard was also very helpful in giving recommendations on good restaurants and beaches nearby. We absolutely loved the beaches and state parks on Boca Grande and Manasota Key which were an easy drive and not super crowded at all. We would love to stay again in the future!
