Maison au bord du lac récemment rénovée avec appartement supplémentaire

Shelter Point Retreat (North) est une maison de quatre chambres à coucher et de quatre salles de bains sur le lac Kentucky qui sert de merveilleuse évasion de l'agitation de la vie quotidienne. La maison principale 3BR / 3BA offre une vue magnifique sur le lac principal tandis qu'un appartement rénové de 864 pieds carrés à quelques pas de la maison principale offre un espace supplémentaire pour les familles et les amis pour se réunir.

L'appartement séparé avec cuisine, salon, salle de bains et chambre est inclus dans toutes les réservations. Cet espace a été ajouté au printemps 2017.

L'ensemble de la propriété est un endroit idéal pour faire des souvenirs avec vos proches. Située sur un terrain ponctuel, cette propriété offre une vue magnifique sur le lac principal et l'accès à l'eau avec son quai privé couvert sur une petite baie.

We enjoyed our stay! We were surprised to see how many kayaks there were. Lots of life jackets. Had fun fishing and swimming. The covered dock kept my boat dry when it rained and shaded most of the day. The charcoal grill was almost new but had not been cleaned. The gas grill was basically unusable. Any issues (all small) we had were addressed immediately by the host.

Fantastic Spot to Relax for a Weekend

Large grassy yard, secluded cove with a nice dock. Plenty of beds, nice house and within quick driving distance of Murray.

Great long weekend trip!

We stayed Thurs. - Sunday and despite very stormy weather, we had a wonderful stay. Shelter Point North was exactly as advertised if not better! The place was clean, had a good kitchen set up so meals could be prepared, and games/movies to help pass the time during the heavy rains. We would definitely recommend and plan to return!

What a nice weekend at the lake! The highlights of this rental are the lake location, the dock and the outdoor areas. The property manager was very responsive and great to work with.

Great Lake Getaway!

Property is right on the water, small beach, docks, kayaks! You can rent a boat from the Lynnhurst Marina, and motor back to the cove, if you just follow the map We did this! The house was great, plenty of room inside and out. We fished, drove around in a pontoon boat, played cards on the deck, paddled around in the kayaks, just fun all around!

great place for medium sixed group to spend a weekend

kitchen is small but functional. bedrooms are good nice size with connected bathrooms. The only bathroom not connected to a bedroom is in the basement, minor inconvenience. parking spaces were good.

Great Stay

The property was beautiful. Very spacious and the owner supplied everything, but food and drinks. My husband and our nephews has fun playing on the canoes. We were able to rent a boat near by and dock it right at the house. Will recommend to anyone who needs a mini break from life.

NICE FAMILY GET AWAY

We enjoyed being on the lake. This property accommodated our family nicely. We were not a big fan of having the smallest bathroom the main bathroom. Some of our guests wished we were closer to a store to pick up the basics.

Perfect place for family vacation

Wonderful place to stay. The only issue we had was the handle on the storm door was broke so we had some trouble getting into the main door. Perfect besides that.

Awesome Location! Cute House!

This was a great property with amazing views. It was exactly as described. The shoreline around the property and the dock is perfect for fishing. We had six adults and six kids and they all had a blast! Everyone had a place to sleep and plenty of room. The bonus guest house was truly a bonus. The location was one of our favorites out of many rentals and the owners were quick to respond and fantastic! Highly recommend!

Family Lake Trip

Our six littles had a blast in the lake! Great access as was a gentler slope…not so steep with steps like a lot of others we considered. Kristin was quick to respond when I had to reach out with an issue prior to arrival. I truly appreciated that. Hope to return to Kentucky Lake in the future!

Family Reunion

What a great find! Tucked away on the Kentucky Lake, these two homes were everything you could ask for. Kitchen was well stocked and when a storm came thru in the afternoon the whole house generator saved the day. Owners communication was awesome. The docks are wonderful for fishing, swimming and just enjoying the view. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property & Great Management

All three generations of our extended family loved this location. The lake view was unbeatable and the lodgings were very nice. There were plenty of places to gather inside and out. We made good use of the kayaks and loved swimming in the private cove. The deck was perfect for grilling and birdwatching. We saved money by cooking and found the main kitchen pretty well equipped. Kristin was very easy to work with and highly responsive. We would love to go back some time.

Spring Fling 2024

Everything was great. Only one complaint, we were on a fishing trip and there was no electricity at the boat docks. We had to pull our boats out from a boat ramp seven miles away to recharge the batteries and relaunched the next morning having to travel seven miles. Otherwise, the house and grounds were great.

Our boat dock has electricity, so we are sorry it wasn't working correctly. This is the first we've heard of it not working. We'll get an electrician out there to check on it. We are glad you and your group had a great time at our property.

Gorgeous views!

This was the perfect place to stay right on the water. My family of five and our friends (family of three) stayed here very comfortably. The finished basement was a perfect place for the two teenagers to go amd watch tv at the end of the night and get away from the adults. The layout of the home was spacious and fit our families wonderfully. The home was very clean and had a very well stocked kitchen. The views on the deck were spectacular. We enjoyed boating everyday and loved having our own private dock as well as a great fire pit by the water. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ky Lake!!

Beautiful & Spacious Home Right on the Lake

This home, along with the additional apartment, provided a great deal of space for our group. We spent a lot of time outdoors, eating, playing games, & relaxing on the the very nice & spacious deck, which overlooks beautiful Kentucky Lake. Our friends brought their ski boat & it was great to have our own dock. We also enjoyed swimming right off of the dock. Note that the path down to the lake & dock are rather steep, & could be challenging for some adults & small children. Kristin was a pleasure to deal with & quick to respond with our questions & concerns. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend staying at this home.
