Great Location

We had four days at Mandy's place during the recent Auckland weather bomb so spent a bit of time inside. Our two grand kids found lots of games to play and video's to watch when we couldn't go to the beach (2 mins away) or ride our bikes along the many walkways. Mandy's place is well equipped and in a great location. The bach has a great basic kiwi feel to it with a central living area opening onto wide decks. Mandy's communication was excellent and timely, a pleasure to deal with. We'll be back for sure, thanks Mandy.

Fantastic beach house

We stayed for a long weekend with two small children. Well equipped for the kids, including toys, books, dvds. Location was amazing, very short walk to the beach. House was clean and tidy and had a large deck and section for extra space.

Manaaki kei Omaha

From the Gecko the inviting email from Mandy had us convinced as a whaanau we had selected the best accom for us. The space of the house accomodated for us parents and our small kids where they had their own space also. The easy walk to the beach and the mention from Mandy to pack our bikes just made our stay even more personalised. I completed in the Omaha half marathon in which Mandy again accomodated for us just by letting me catch my breath post 21 km run with that little bit of extra time to check out. Much appreciation you may now have cancelled our annual Gold coast holidays. Thank you soon much.xox have a great xmas and hope to book again in the near future.

Blissful break to Omaha

Myself and three children had a thoroughly blissful break in Omaha staying at this "home away from home" comfortable bach. We felt so at home right from the moment we arrived and the location, a very easy short stroll to the beach was perfect. The weather was like high summer. By the end of the five days, we were all so relaxed. It's the perfect base to explore all the surrounds and with bach located so close to beach, sunsets on the beach were so easy even with little ones. I would be back here in a heartbeat if they'll have us! One of the most comfy beds in a bach we've stayed in too. All slept well and raring to go in the morning. Only thing was we couldn't find the DVD, not that it mattered in the end as so much time spent outdoors. Thanks again to our hosts!

An absolute gem

The pictures don't do this bach justice. Enormous decks, a fantastic bbq area with a view, always a sheltered side out of the wind. Drowning in land, and next to a reserve with a charming short laneway stroll to the beach. Will definitely be staying again.
