I'm very sorry to see this review; my usual housekeeper was exposed to Covid, and it was agreed that she quarantine herself with her family. This happened within 24 hours of Amanda's stay, and I needed to immediately hire a new cleaner, which was based on a recommendation. As I was 100 miles away caretaking my 91-yr. old mother at the time, I wasn't able then to supervise . The house was actually much cleaner than Amanda reports; the main problem was there was some small amount of hair left in a tub drain, although the remainder of the tub was totally clean. Incidentaly, three people who later entered the 'smelly bedroom' reported no smell at all; I'm disappointed that she didn't report how clean everything else in the house was. I do have a new fastidious cleaner. I immediately responded to Amanda's complaints, and after the Thank You's I received from her, am very surprised and upset by her review. I strive to present a spotlessly clean house to all who come, and will continue to do so. Incidentally, she asked to stay an extra night after being there for two nights- so I can't help but wonder how bad the situation really was. It seemed she had many complaints. It's unfortunate that she did not seem to accept my explanation of the housekeeper/Covid problem at the last minute; I'm sure she would rather not have had me take a chance with her contracting it herself.
