I am a native of Groton and a retired Special Education high school teacher. My husband is in Fire Protection and we have been friends for 40 years and married since 2012. We bought the farm property from “Miss Periscope”, my 96 year old Mother who was a Merritt and born on the homestead farm next door, where my grandparents, Francis and Althea Merritt, operated the property as a dairy farm. When they retired, they donated much of the land to build Fitch Sr. High School across the street, where my three brothers and I attended high school.

The farmhouse and barn, rolling meadows, and seasonal views of Long Island Sound make this the location for a vacation. Surrounded by 80 acres of hiking trails and public open space, yet centrally located with easy access to everywhere!
