Holiday weekend stay

Relaxing beach getaway!

My husband and I absolutely loved visiting Sunset Beach for the first time! The condo was very clean and spacious located only a short drive to the beach! Despite tropical depression Elsa moving through we felt very safe and secure staying at this property. Would definitely recommend and absolutely revisit!!

Nice condo!

Everything was very clean, plenty of dishes, etc., updated, nice pools & good location - very close to Calabash & some great restaurants. Loved that it was on the first floor. Would definitely rent again.

Comfortable stay

The condo was spacious and comfortable. We used only one of the four beds, which was not the "most comfortable"; but it wasn't terrible. Online description is accurate. Location is very nice and convenient to nearby shopping and dining. I would definitely stay here again.

Great experience

We had an overall great experience staying at this propert! Only thing we didn’t know before going there was that you have to drive to the pool & the pool with the kiddie pool right outside of this property is locked & only available to owners. This was only down fall as we liked that this property had pool w a kiddie pool close to us as we had 2 toddlers with us. But, overall great place.

Very spacious

This is in a great location to Sunset Beach. The condo was very clean. Nice layout. Unfortunately during our stay, the people/person in the above unit was heavy footed and very active between 11pm-12am which kept us awake. We asked for a late check out due to lack of sleep and it was denied. (Just requested a 11am) This is a nice unit but … hate that it’s contingent on the above renters habits. Just being honest.

dirty floors

we had a good time but the condo was not very clean. If you walked on the floor with socks on they got pretty dirty. We have stayed at this condo many times before but didn't have that problem.

Dirty

We stayed here versus beach front due to the fact they have an indoor heated pool. Unfortunately it closes at 5pm. Such a disappointment. The website has different hours and when we arrived the front desk lady said sorry, I’m closing it at 5pm all week. The next issue we had it that this condo is filthy. I mean mold spots on the lamp shades, mold on the screen door outside. You walk on the floor and your socks/feet will be black from the dirt. The shower heads need to be scrubbed so they actually work. The shower curtains don’t get changed between guest. Gross!!! Nothing had been wiped down. It smelled and all the TVs where left on. It looked like someone watched TV instead of cleaned, tossed the sheets on the bed and gave you fresh towels then left. We went to dollar tree and purchased cleaning supplies to clean the condo ourselves. We have stayed at sea trail many times and this is the first time we had a rough stay. I’m sure a new cleaning company is a must but, the condo it self needs some TLC.

Clean and quiet

Place was clean and had everything we needed…clean towels. The area was very quiet and being close to a pool was a big plus for our kids. It was to have a stocked kitchen when we wanted to stay in and cook.

Pros and cons

The place is in a great location and the property around is beautiful. The downfall was that the TVs in the bedrooms didn’t work, the ceiling fans in the bedrooms didn’t work and most importantly the dryer didn’t work. We had to make a makeshift drying room to dry our clothes until we could find a laundry mat. It took time out of being able to enjoy our vacation and of course the cost of the laundry mat. I specifically book places based on them having working washer/dryers.

Great Stay

My mom and I came down to Sunset Beach for a few days following a death in the family. We found the condo to be exactly as described and how it appeared in pictures. It was clean, comfortable and the check in process and reminders via text and email were outstanding. We would definitely rent this unit at Sea Trails in the future!

Unit was very nice and clean. Sea Trail staff were very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Restaurant was delicious, best shrimp tacos I have ever had. Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful resort close to Ocean Isle Beach

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! Check in was very easy, and they gave us a list of all upcoming events plus a menu for the on site restaurant. Our rooms were beautiful and very clean, and we had a nice enclosed patio to enjoy breakfast on. It was only about a 15 minute drive to the beach and there is also a supermarket right down the road for food and other necessities. We would absolutely stay here again!
