Convenient location.

Our family stayed in this property during a recent trip to DFW for a family funeral. The property was very convenient to other family and event locations. The property was excellent and the space was appreciated. Much superior to a group of hotel rooms. We would stay here again, if need arises.

Family fun

Our family had a very nice time here. We have 5 kids so finding a family friendly place is often hard. Mike and Adriana were very helpful and kind and communicated often to make sure all was going ok. The pool was a big hit with the kids; once we figured it out it was warm and they were burning lots of energy in it! We are happy we chose this property and maybe we will be back someday soon. If we do come back we will see if this property is available. Thank you!

Extended Stay

What started as a brief stay during home restoration extended into over a month as repairs were constantly delayed. Very appreciative of the flexibility that was offered to accommodate our unpredictable circumstances. The home itself comfortably accommodated our family of three. The pandemic lock down necessitated working from the house, which it is not designed for so it required some creativity to make it work for two professionals and a teenage boy. If you are reading this review, however, it is almost certainly not your intention to use the home under such circumstances and for most vacation or temporary stays you will be fine. Over the course of several weeks issues are bound to come up - basic home maintenance, pest control, AC filter replacement, etc. - and when they did they were promptly and professionally addressed. Some upgrades to the kitchen cooking supplies would come in handy but if you are vacationing or stopping by for a short stay then home cooking likely isn't on your agenda. You'll be more interested in the well-kept pool, the comfortable beds, and the convenient location in a safe and friendly residential neighborhood which I can vouch for since I live within a baseball throw of the house. If similar circumstances ever came up we would certainly head back there again. Enjoy your stay.

Comfortable although dated

The owners were very communicative and responded quickly to questions, and were flexible when needing to extend or check-in/out at specific times. The house is dated so it doesn't appear completely clean although it seemed like it was reasonably clean. Overall, the house was comfortable and worked for our needs.

Good news - Updates completed now Jan 2022 with new plank flooring in all 5 bedrooms! Finally rid of the carpeting. With the updated master en-suite bathroom and kitchen updates and the 2021 updates of new flooring in the living/dining area, the house is so nice!

Highly Recommend

The owner was very great at communicating with me with both expectations of his rules and quick responses to my requests. The pool is a very nice size and the lights in the back add a nice touch at night. The neighbors were nice and greeted me when they saw me. This was my second time here and enjoyed it more than the first time. I will definitely be coming again. I was with a group of 5 people and we all enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay, and would definitely book again.

Mike was always very quick to respond to me either my reservation and then my many questions. It was a great house for our family that range from age 1 to 54. We all enjoyed playing in the pool daily. Very clean, plenty of towels, and seating in the living room, and out by the pool. Breakfast food was left for us. We really appreciated the gesture, especially since we arrived after midnight the night before.

And a big thank you for the personal clarification on your rating which you indicated was meant to be 5 stars but due to a system glitch registered 4 stars. For the sake of our future Guests I publish here your message: “Mike and Adriana, I fully intended to rate our stay a 5 star experience as we really enjoyed your hosting and the home and amenities and everything accurately described! I clicked to rate it a 5-star experience and when submitted it, it surprisingly showed as 4-star and despite our best efforts could not adjust it. My apologies.
