Girls Getaway!

Five friends had a wonderful 5 days here! House had everything necessary. Loved Keuka for biking, Letchworth and Watkins Glen parks, and a few wineries!!

Weekend of Total Relaxation

House is clean and very spacious. It was nice to have games for our teenagers to play, Pool table, Foosball table and Ping Pong table, as well as large checkers to play with. We only stayed a few nights but it was so relaxing that it felt like we were there much longer.

The property booking was easy , Owner/Manager was great guy ,always there to answer questions and concerns . Property is beautiful and very well maintained. Stay was made very convinient by the amenities the house offers. Basement was full of entertainment for ppl of all ages rt from toddlers to seniors . Was kinda far from the lakes but commute was beautiful and scenic so it felt nice. Market wasnt too far to get stuff .Two small concerns were , water at times was smelling heavy of chemicals And Since it was warmer weather , presence of few bugs bothered. Except that everything else was great ! We definitely recommend it to everyone. Best wishes to owner

Lovely home in Naples

This home is on a large property with no near neighbors, lending it a quiet atmosphere. The large fireplace up stairs, and the gas fireplace in the basement are great features. The huge dining table (seats 14) makes for a great center of operations. The well water has a distinct sulfur smell, but we brought water with us for drinking and cooking. Overall, very nice experience.

Guys trip

We had a great time. The location was what we look for each year (quite but close to things to do). Overall the house was nice. Lots of room on a large lot. A couple small issues. Slight odor from the well water and we did not have any propane. (The owner was very responsive and got it replaced promptly)

Big and beautiful home with plenty of room. The downside of this property is the smell of the water, it comes from a well, we let the water run for a few minutes and only get worse. There is not wifi and phone signal is spotty

Spacious and clean

Overall we were very happy and satisfied. No WIFI was a bit tough for us device addicted guests, combined with absent cable/tv/internet and spotty cell coverage. But its a good place if you want to disconnect. House has a ton of room and is proximate to everything you wanna see/do. Multiple on-suite bathrooms were definitely a plus! Seven adults had plenty of room and privacy Note: no central a/c, each bedroom has a window ac unit, this was a bit loud and the install of each admitted some uninvited bugs nightly. Would def stay again, just know these details up front.

Out of town Team stay

Paul was very attentive and prompt in our communications. Everything was spelled out in the agreement and everything from booking to departing went smoothly. The house is located about a 5 minute drive to great restaurants and small quaint town nearby. Everyone had a great time and the house was great for our gathering. First thing we noticed was the extremely large dining table which was great for all our purposes. Located amongst the corn & alfalfa fields in a very quiet but beautiful area. Deer abound everywhere. 5 BR’s & BA’s for all (each BR had its own BA w/shower) and basic necessities in kitchen including dishwasher & Ice supplied Refrigerator. Nice fireplace and downstairs game room for kids. Had 4 adults and 3 teenagers and were comfortable. Would stay there again if in the area. No complaints. Thank you Paul!

Excellent host

We started our stay with an unpleasant feeling, but ended with a very happy campers. As soon as we checked in, we found out that the heat was not on and hot water was not running. We contacted our host Paul. He immediately sent his local housekeeping staff who helped get the hot water going. unfortunately due to weekend he was not able to get HVAC technician to come out and look into the furnace. Fortunately though, there was a gas fireplace in the basement that kept us all warmed, and later he helped with the manual fireplace up and running located in the living room which kept us really warmed all through the weekend. It was ended up in a great experience. Paul was an amazing host throughout our stay, and he made sure our stay was comfortable.

We stayed at this lovely home for our daughter's wedding nearby. The house was in excellent condition and the location was perfect! Paul was very accommodating and helpful with any questions we had!

Great place, nice location

Nice property, overall a great place to stay and relax. Close enough to the lake with great boat access. Layout of the house is great with every bedroom having its own bathroom which made it nice for 3 couples. Needs a few upgrades/ additions, lacks kitchen cookware. Grill was located at opposite end of house far from the kitchen. Would have been nice to have another room with a queen bed and not so many twin beds but wasnt the end of the world. Would also be nice to have a smaller table to be able to play games at. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful surroundings and very clean property

We stayed here for a nearby family wedding. No complaints at all - simple check in check out. Very responsive property manager and clean property. Some in our group were very bothered by the strong sulphur smell of the water, but most got over it. My only suggestion would be larger more comfortable beds for adults. We had 3 couples staying at the house and 3 twin beds and 2 queens left 2 tall adults in twin beds. Would stay here again.

Beautiful, secluded property on a very quiet road, but only about 10 minutes to Naples

House and property are beautiful and secluded, but a very short drive to the attractions in Naples and close to wine country and hiking. The outside grill seemed to be new, and maybe only used once or twice. Ping pong, Pool table, foosball table and corn hole were available. We spent most of our time outside on the back patio and sometime inside playing ping pong and pool. Great house for a family memorial day weekend get away. Beautiful views of the stars and night. Saw a couple shooting stars and the international space station! A few things to consider: - The water is well water, and had a sulfur smell but we managed - Pool table is in pretty poor shape and not level but we still used it and had a lot of fun with it - Kitchen is very sparse. Just the very basics, and we could not find any utensils for the grill. - We bought firewood nearby and used the outdoor fire ring - The gas fireplace in the basement has a remote but we could not get it to work In summary - we would definitely rent it again. Paul is a great host and very responsive.

Awesome Small Town Finger Lake Experience

The house is beautiful and easy to get to. It’s super close to Naples, NY and not a far drive from many other Finger Lakes attractions. Many people have commented about the sulfur smell of the water; it is there but we didn’t find it to be overwhelming and it does not detract from the stay! Overall, we highly recommend renting this house!!

Fun secluded spot

Went on a golf trip with some friends and had a great time here. A ton of beds and bathrooms. Huge yard and room to chill outside. The water has a really strong sulfur smell which doesn't make for the best showers, but it's manageable and overall a good place to stay with a group.

nice stay for the week

This house has a very beautiful sunset view, plenty of space and game supplies. Paul is very quick to respond and flexible with our check in process. Overall great stay. Location is more remote than I anticipated.

Very Relaxing Weekend Away

First I would like to start by saying that the house is beautiful. We loved the tall ceilings, the beautiful fireplace, and the fun game room in the basement. The open floor plan was also great for hanging out. It is about a 20 minute drive to Bristol Mountain which was an awesome ski resort as well. Snow tubing was a 2 hour drive away but we instead bought some tubes and even went tubing down the hills in the yard! It was a lot fun. We loved that we were able to bring our 3 dogs and they had a blast running around the large yard. The only thing was some of the doors did not close properly so the dogs were able to push some of the room doors open. It was not a big deal and definitely did not effect our trip in the slightest. The wood fire place upstairs and the gas fireplace in the basement were also great features. We loved using the Pool table, ping pong table and foosball table. The house was very clean upon arrival. Paul was a great homeowner, very responsive to any messages that we sent him. He even was very accommodating and let us check in early day of and check out late on our last day due to a snow storm. The house was fully ready to go when we arrived. The listing says there is no cable TV but they must have updated it since because there is now DirecTV in the basement. As stated, there is no WiFi. We used our phones as hot spots and there is great cell service. Our phones struggled a bit to power our laptops to load movies but after letting them load for a bit we had no issue. The only thing to be aware of is that due to the house using Well water, there is a strong sulfur smell whenever you turn on the water. Sulfur has a bit of a rotten egg smell so that is just something to be prepared for. That goes for all of the sinks and showers. This did not ruin the trip or anything and I would still recommend this house for anyone looking for a quiet getaway! Just bring drinking water if you are not used to sulfur.

Wonderful house, great location, strong sulfur odor and flies

We stayed at the house for a long weekend and it was in a private location, convenient to great hiking trails, wonderful layout with plenty of room and the fireplace and game room were a big plus. Even though there is no Wifi service, we had good cell phone connectivity. Unfortunately the water in the house has a very, very strong "rotten egg" odor, which permeates throughout the house and is quite unpleasant. We read previous reviews so thought we were prepared with bottled water, but the odor was so strong that some in our group could not tolerate it, and did not use the shower the entire weekend. It was a shame. There is also a major fly problem, even during our visit the end of November - multiple times per day we swatted dozens of flies on the kitchen ceiling and windows. The home has a lot of potential, but needs a filter for the water, must address the fly issue, and the living room furniture needs an update.
