Nice place to stay for a weekend in Wildwood

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a nice stay. It has the essentials and enough beds for our group. Having parking in front of the property is a plus. The only downside is its distance to the beach - still walkable though.

Really liked this place. It's very roomy. It's in a bit of a weird building, but the location is great. It's about a 12 minute walk to the boardwalk. It comes with a parking space and there is street parking right around there since you're a bit of a distance from the boardwalk. The place was cleaned and furnished nicely. I really appreciate that they include the linens and towels in the pricing upfront. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was good. Close to everything- beach/boardwalk, the gym, supermarket and CVS. I wish we knew to bring our own blankets(only linens & pillows were provided) We also needed to buy more toilet paper& hand soap for the bathrooms. Also, it’s directly behind the sewer/water company, so it’s pretty loud starting at 6am

Comfortable Rental Home

We enjoyed ourselves at this house. Quiet and safe area. The owner was very kind and communicated well. My family and I would definitely stay there again.

Real noisy

The rooms were great. Every day the garbage trucks would start their day at 5 AM even on the 4th of July. On Sunday they started at 4AM. Terrible location.

The pros: The murals painted inside are cute and a nice touchThe listing says it has twin bunk beds but they were actually full beds top and bottomIt’s mostly walkable to the beach, but with little ones, it was a little far. More than the 3.5 blocks listed, it was a very long 4 blocks to the boardwalk.The cons:This place was in disrepair- lampshade broke, futon with a screw hanging out that was at one point covered with duct tape, which has long lost its stickiness and was no longer covering, bedroom door broken and couldn’t latch, bedroom fan made so much noise it wasn’t really useable at night, and bunk bed upper had two broken/cracked slats.The place also wasn’t the cleanest when we arrivedThe kitchen doesn’t have bare minimum for the max occupancy- there were less than 10 cups, no kitchen knives/cutting board/pot holders, etcThe building it’s in is an odd building, with the units being between rows of garages/storage unitsMake sure you double check the listing- blankets and paper products are not suppliedFees included 200 cleaning fee and 150 amenities, but with the instructions to wipe down counters and strip beds placing linens outside and nothing much provided, I’m not sure what those were for. The listing also says it’s 25/night for cleaning, which means I was charged an extra 100.Overall it was just ok for a long weekend, but I will not be booking again and definitely wouldn’t stay any longer than a few nights

Great family memories made!

We had a wonderful time! The property is very spacious and the decor fits very well with the Wildwood feel. We haven’t seen our son who is in the Coastguard since September due to COVID and this place gave us a wonderful opportunity to reunite with him. He was able to give us tours of Wildwood and Cape May. This property gave us the capability to be very close to his barracks and really enjoy him. The only thing we regret is that we didn’t stay longer! Thanks for allowing us to stay. We had a wonderful family vacation!

Family friendly

The unit was spacious and provided the basic essentials. It lacked a little in cleanliness. The master bedroom window has a view of dumpsters and a worksite. The noise from there was waking us up at 5am and continued daily even on Sunday. Other than that the location was nice, 10 minutes walk to the boardwalk but food and bowling was nearby.

How do you book a condo for 7 people, where the listing says accommodates up to 10, and there were only 4 pillows in the entire condo? I think that’s pretty ridiculous.

Everything was great, except...

Everything was great! My bf and I were the ones to arrive first, we checked in took a look around the VRBO to make sure everything was good and nothing was damaged or missing upon arrival... everything was going well until the power went out all throughout WW... the entire weekend was ruined because of this, we didn't get the power back on at all... because of the unbearable heat my group and I decided to leave before our planned checkout date... trip was such a disaster. Property owner was great a communicating with us, VRBO itself was great and everything was amazing and so accommodating. Such a shame that incident happen and we weren't able to enjoy the stay.

Never again.

Being truthful here. The location was ok. The check in went smoothly. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was dirty. There were days old coffee grounds in the coffee maker. I say this because they were dry and hard and they’ve been there a while. At first I thought ok they must have just forgotten to empty them. But then there was a filthy dirty oven mitt in the dirty utensils drawer. Among other things The only sharp knife they had was dull and the handle was falling off. Be careful of the cabinet door. If opened it will hit the ceiling fan. The chairs at the table were so wobbly it was not safe to sit on them. I was told by management, the owner told him they can’t be loose because they were just tightened. Basically calling me a liar. So I took videos and ask him to show them to the owner. I ended up putting 5 of the 8 chairs aside, because they were bad so we used the bench and stools they had there. The bedroom I stayed armoire was falling apart. And upon exiting they expect you to do the cleaning. Wipe down the refrigerator, wipe down the bathrooms not unreasonable but they want you to do the wash too. Not on my vacation! I get the feeling you are cleaning for the next renters. I feel about $500.00 in upgrades to this place along with proper cleaning would make a world’s difference. Clearly they don’t want to put any money into the place. I have plenty of pictures and videos. I’m going to stay away from this place. Never again. I was embarrassed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really liked this place. It's in an odd building, but the inside is nice and its awesome that you have parking right in front. The place was clean and linens/towels was included, unlike a lot of places in Wildwood. About a 12 minute walk to the boardwalk. Sleeping quarters were as advertised. There is a big staircase up to the unit so keep that in mind if you have someone that needs special accommodations. We had no problems checking in and out. We would rent with the Powers Group again.

Review of our stay at 320 W. Oak Avenue, Wildwood in units A & C

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: By renting the units A and C at this location, it worked nicely for the 13 of us that were staying between the two units. The adjoining door enabled us all to stay connected during our vacation. In terms of the actual units themselves, while overall they were pretty nice, they are in need of a very deep cleaning. One bathroom in each of the units is extremely small. If you are on the toilet, your knees are up against the sink. They are just too small. The larger bathrooms, one per unit, are located in the master bedroom areas but can be accessed easily in both units. The property management group was nice to work with and we enjoyed our stay, but the units definitely need to be cleaner before we would stay again.

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was in a great location and walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and stores. The one bathroom is much smaller than pictures portray and there is no tub for little ones. The futons have been screwed so you are not able to fold them down into a bed. The grills probably need to be replaced as the one we tried to use caught fire and was rusty. The owner of the property was quite rude to her maintenance man. One tv remote had to be replaced but nobody knew how to pair it with the TV so the only thing the new remote would control was the volume. Even though we had all these issues it was overall a nice unit in a great location.

Weekend getaway

Property was sufficient for the amount of people. The place needs to be updated. There was only one egress which could be a potential problem in case of emergency such as fire. Could have at least had a pillow on each bed. Some areas were not really clean. Convenient to the boardwalk. Will probably not be back to this place.
