Nice, clean, and cozy! Had a problem with the heat the first night but the maintenance guy did all he could over the phone at 11pm so I can't fault him. Had a service tech come the next day and fixed it. Really wasn't a problem and they were very responsive to the issue. Other than that, everything went flawlessly and we had a great stay!

Weekend Visit

Mark was very accommodating during my stay. The home had just the right touches and amenities. It's a little hike to campus, but overall the location served my needs and I would definitely stay there again.

Great Gainesville location

Cute property, great college vibe. You’ll hear dogs/cats/people in adjoining apartments as if they’re in same room as you. Front door needs repair, has hole from previous lock/handle and needs weather stripping. Would stay again because it was clean, we felt safe and it was a good no-frills budget property.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here. It's an older home so the rooms/bathrooms are on the smaller side, but the beds are comfortable. The only issue we had was we could hear the girls staying in the unit next to us from one of the bedrooms. It was a big football weekend so we enjoyed being away from the craziness of the campus- it's in a pretty neighborhood-but it's an easy walk to get there. Mark was very easy to get a hold of, both before our stay & during our stay.

Great Location

Great Location. All appliance and kitchen items you need. Home is on the older side. Bathroom door sticks on floor and doesn’t close all the way. Great bed in the main room. Second bedroom could use a bigger bed. Showers are on smaller size. Bathrooms had hair in shower. Overall good place and would stay again.

We have tried a larger bed in the second room but there just isn't space to make it comfortable from what we have been told by others. I definitely is a preference it seems :-)

One of three units in the house

The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable and the place had all of the amenenties that anyone could want and need. However, it was a single unit of three with little to no space between the other units. There was a door, not a wall, between this unit and another unit. There was a dog parking and yapping all through the evening anytime you walked around. You do not have control over the door and know that it can't be unlocked from the other side. It did not make me feel safe and secure on the property knowing that door could open at anytime.

Rest assured, the door cannot be opened from the other side, but I do understand the concern. With that said I will be installing another lock on the Unit B side of the door. I am sorry you did not have a five star experience, but we always try to make is so.

Traveler beware! There are discrepancies btwn VRBO and Expedia. The day of check-in, I get a message from host that I needed to pay $150 pet cleaning fee. This was a big surprise since the Expedia posting states "pets stay free, up to 2 pets." There was no access to the backyard as stated. The place was not cleaned & the condition is questionable. Cleanliness: Upon arrival I make a quick walk thru to ensure the place is safe for my pets. I notice there are some confetti like plastic heart decorations in the bedroom & livingroom floors. I also find a fruit platter on kitchen counter w some fruit leftover. There were plastics in the recycling bin. I notice the air filter looks dirty & it looks like it needs to be replaced. Lastly, in 1 of the bathrooms the mirror was dirty, in the shower the exhaust fan was filthy, & in the other there is mold next to the toilet. Property condition: This is single home divided into 3 units, by blocking doors instead of enclosing the units with walls. The doors could be open from the other side, & 1 was almost opened by a small child who cried for >30 mins to "open the door" until we told the owner. Owner tried to hide adjoining door w window curtains. Regardless, you can hear people walking around, opening and closing doors, or talking. The main door had a hole above the door lock and there was a large gap at the bottom of the door. Lastly, there is a deck falling apart going out the back hallway. I do not recommend.

Price and location close to UF cannot be beat. Quiet wooded area and great customer service. Very well stocked with everything you need for an easy comfortable stay. Know before you go: the double bed in the guest bedroom is short. As a 5 foot 4 female my toes just reached the end but did not hang off. It was very comfortable and fine for short people or kids. I would not put more than 4 adults in here to be comfortable. The shower stalls are small and standing only and may not be suitable for all guests.

Very well stocked apartment

The kitchens and bathrooms were very well appointed. Everything we could have needed. The street was so beautifully tree lined, we took pics of our graduate there instead of his house.
