Faites un feu, écoutez les arbres et la source qui se déversent dans la rivière White

Log cabin historique sur 60 acres au coeur de la forêt nationale de Chequamegon. Animaux acceptés.

Construire un feu dans la cheminée fieldstone - salon - baie vitrée donnant sur la forêt et la rivière White.
Construire un feu dans le poêle à bois sur le porche grillagé 3 saisons. Il y a d'immenses fenêtres donnant sur la forêt et le printemps.
Construire un feu dans la fosse du feu de camp à l'extérieur.

Coule une source par la cabine, de se jeter dans un petit étang, qui déborde dans la rivière Blanche. Le son du vent dans les arbres et le bruit de l'eau est constante et par une des raisons Retreat White River est spécial.

Le corps principal de la cabane a été construite dans les années 1930 par des artisans qui ont compris la beauté ainsi que la fonctionnalité de cabanes en rondins. Un grand porche (20x30) et un deuxième étage a été ajouté à la cabine en 2010.

Etage 1: 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain, cuisine, salle de séjour avec une cheminée en pierre des champs et 3 porche saison. Poêle à bois sur le porche et cheminée dans le salon. Je fournis le bois de chauffage.

Etage 2: 2 chambres, 1. 5 salles de bains - bien aménagées avec des carreaux de travertin, bain sur pattes, douche en céramique, vanités de bois récupéré, grandes chambres avec vue.

La configuration des lits: 2 lits queen, 1 complète, 2 lits jumeaux. Je fournis les draps.

Cuisine: cuisinière / four, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, grille-pain, cafetière, casseroles / poêles / plats.

Sous-sol - le stockage

Je suis co-propriété / opéré une loge avec plusieurs cabines près de White River Retreat, pour plus de 25 ans. Je comprends ce que les gens recherchent dans une location de vacances. Je fais de mon mieux pour vous guider vers cette option de location si je sens que cela correspond à vos besoins. Je vous orienter aussi loin de la location de cabine que si il semble que ce ne sont pas un bon match pour vos besoins. Je veux que les gens soient heureux ici et laisser un sentiment renouvelé par l'expérience.

This was our second time at this property. It is a beautiful cabin/house that is remote enough to get away but close to a lot of things. The host is super nice and communication is great. We enjoy the local bar/restaurants, hiking waterfalls and worked in an Apostle Island Cruise. Fish fry Fridays and supper club Saturdays make northern Wisconsin trips a great getaway.

This was a great find. The host was so thoughtful and caring that when we had a power outage she came to the property to check on us. This place is remote and if that is what you like and want, it was perfect. Easy trail access and lots of room. FYI no TV here…..

Marilyn was an excellent host. She made sure to get us properly checked in and answer any questions about the property. We absolutely loved the porch and hearing the water running by the cabin. There was plenty of room in the cabin for us to spread out. Only complaint was the flies that were a nuisance outside. But that is nature and it happens. Great cabin to hang out and use as base camp between our adventures. There are not major grocery stores real close but you can get sufficient supplies from smaller local grocers.

The whole property was amazing Marilyn was so wonderful, the only bummer was the Internet was out and not having any signal there was kind of an issue but the primary reason for the stay was to unplug, however to be forced off grid is a lot different than choosing to be off grid.

Thank you for understanding the phone/Internet service outage. To explain the reason for the outage: I have several properties. A few days prior to the arrival of the guest I terminated the phone/internet service to a property I am rehabbing. In the phone connection with the service provider I explained that only the service to the house being rehabbed should be terminated. Somehow this did not make it through the phone line to the person on the other end. The service to the cabin rental was terminated. While I connected with the service provider over the weekend, service was not restored. I was able to speak with someone early in the week who arranged for service to be restored. I take seriously the need for people to connect to the Internet and to be able to dial out on the phone, in the event of an emergency. Sincerely, Marilyn

The hostess was nice. She was readily available for questions and assistance. I was in the area for a class that was scheduled to run past the checkout time on our final day. She was understanding and flexible about our departure time.The cabin's setting is peaceful and private. The calm was greatly enhanced the by the sounds of the gently flowing spring thru the front yard and the nearby river.The property was clean and recent updates to the upstairs interior are quite nice. I live 2 miles from White River Retreat, at a resort which I co-own/operate with my former spouse. My two sons, aged 19 and 15, are a joy to watch grow into young men. Four newfoundland mixed breed dogs are a part of my life.

The vacations that stay with you throughout the year are ones that allow you to recharge your energy and allow you to view your life's blessings and obstacles from a different perspective.

As I live locally, I have known about this cabin, with the spring flowing through the grounds and the White River flowing by the cabin, for years. I fell in love with it when I saw it for the first time, visiting friends who owned it. Recently it became available for sale and I chose to take it on as my responsibility, believing that others would find it as beautiful and want to rent it. I own/operate a lodge/cabin rental business located 2 miles away. Owning/renting White River Retreat has been second nature for me, given my background.
