Great property and host!

We had a wonderful short stay which was so clean and tidy and the extra little creature comforts were much appreciated. Would highly recommend!

Relaxing and peaceful stay

The accommodation was comfortable and everything there that you needed. The owners were welcoming and added a few personal touches - delicious sourdough bread and eggs from their farm. a very enjoyable stay.

Great property, with nice views of countryside.

Great property, located just outside the town, but with great views of countryside and plenty of birdlife. Comfortable beds, with electric blankets for cold winter and spring nights. A couple of nice treats left by the owner to enjoy when checking in,

Quiet rural stay

Clean, comfortable and well appointed accommodation on a farm surrounded by green rolling hills. All just a short walk from the centre of Balingup. Balingup is a lovely place to visit and an excellent base to explore nearby towns such as Nannup, Bridgetown and Donnybrook.We were just two people off to the annual Garden Festival in Nannup but this would be a perfect place for a family stay. There was lots of room for children to run around. An abundance of birds to watch as well as chickens, goats and a flock of sheep and lambs in the fields.Our hosts were friendly, helpful and easy to contact. We were welcomed in person by our lady host. There was local milk, freshly baked bread and farm fresh eggs waiting for us.Winter is a wonderful time to visit the SW when the accommodation is warm and cosy. It was a delight to wake up to soft mist, grazing sheep and birds galore while the air conditioner kept us toasty warm. The electric blankets were appreciated.The kitchen was well appointed so we could cook when we wanted to. There was also an abundance of cafes to try in nearby towns.Thank you to our hosts and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Wonderful weekend getaway

We had a lovely weekend getaway. The property was clean and cosy, and in a whisper quiet location, but super close to town and the Golden Valley Tree Park that we'd come to see. Mary and Nye are fabulous hosts. So many thoughtful extras were supplied like tea, coffee, cereals, homemade sourdough bread, butter and jam, milk etc etc. The linen on the beds was lovely, and the electric blankets and pot belly were a welcome addition as the night temperatures were very cool. Loved our stay and will definitely return.

A little gem close to town

The whole family enjoyed their stay here. The kids loved visiting the animals and feeding the goats. Milk, jam, fresh eggs & home made bread are the perfect touches provided. A wonderful clean, cosy place to stay with beautiful views within walking distance to town. The owners are welcoming, friendly and great communication.

Wonderful family getaway

Mary was a wonderful host. Our kids loved interacting with the animals and having a warm fire to come home at night to. It is a beautiful property! In the fresh made bread on arrival made it even more special.

We had a fabulous stay at Birdwood Park. We loved the accomodation and we had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and welcoming hosts. Located in a scenic part of Balingup and we could walk to town. Thank you !

Quiet perfect location

The accommodation is a great size. The kitchen is fantastic. The beds and bedding are of great quality. The views of the surrounding area are great. The owners, Mary and Ney are very friendly and were happy to explain about their property. They did make us feel very welcome. The property is located very near to the center of Balingup. It is only a short walk. We look forward to come back.

Balingup Barn House

Great property, comfortable , neat and tidy living area, friendly hosts and attention to detail. Need to know no local TV reception and you require to have your Netflix login details. Thanks

We are sorry that Trevor and his party were unable to watch the football due to the poor free to air reception in Balingup. We have now rectified the problem by installing a (VAST) satellite television system so guests can now watch most of their favourite free to air channels.

social isolation with style

The property is in a perfect and peaceful location but still only two minutes drive from Balingup. The owners are lovely and the sheep, goats, chickens and ducks very friendly. Perfect getaway. Judy and Richard Harrison

Home base for a family visit

wonderful hosts; delightful cottage

For us, the cottage was ideal. A simple but pleasant construction, especially on the inside. Lovely setting and convenient location. Our hosts were friendly and made extra effort to welcome us and make our stay pleasant. My only critical comment is that the Stayz app did not work well. I would have expected to be able to obtain the key lock code from the app. Also, the 'directions' link to Google maps gave an entirely false suggestion of how to get to Birdwood Park Estate. It would also help if our hosts could place a sign just across the bridge pointing to their location.

Tranquil

Loved our night in Balingup. The cottage was very clean, well equipped, warm and comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Everything was so easy and smooth. Eggs from resident chickens and home grown fruit were waiting for us. Oh and did I mention there was warm, home baked bread handed to us on arrival!!! Thank you

Already looking forward to our next visit

We loved our return visit to the lovely Birdwood Park Estate Farm Stay. Mary and Nye warmly welcomed us back to their property, greeting us with freshly baked bread which was absolutely delicious. The farm house was yet again beautifully clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The thoughtful touches of the hot water bottles and electric blankets were appreciated. I couldn’t recommend this stay highly enough. Thanks again for having us.

Homely & cozy

We had a fantastic stay & the dogs loved it too. Such a great place to relax & go for some beautiful picturesque walks. The place was lovely & clean with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The freshly baked bread was a real treat and the potbelly fire keep the whole place lovely & warm. Couldn’t of asked for a better stay.
