La maison elle-même est vraiment unique. Une œuvre d'art par le propriétaire, les détails en font un endroit inoubliable. De l'escalier bordé de loupe taillé à la main à la balançoire de banc suspendu aux chevrons du salon au lit mezzanine qui donne sur une lucarne, les enfants et les adultes passeront un merveilleux moment à explorer cette maison.

La grande cuisine a beaucoup de place pour tout le monde pour aider à préparer les repas. Le bar dispose d'un terrarium en verre rempli d'étoiles de mer, de dollars de sable, de coquillages, de rochers - voyez ce que vous pouvez trouver! Le mur de fenêtres vous permet de profiter de la vue où que vous soyez. Le salon dispose d'une balançoire suspendue aux chevrons et d'un confortable poêle à bois.

La chambre principale offre un lit king fait à la main, une grande baignoire et une douche à vapeur surdimensionnée. Profitez également de la vue depuis les fenêtres enveloppantes de cette pièce.

Le loft peut accueillir deux autres personnes sur un futon et dispose d'une table de baby-foot pour le temps de jeu. La chambre avec lits superposés pour enfants peut accueillir six personnes (deux lits queen, un lit superposé simple et un lit mezzanine simple qui donne sur la lucarne). Les enfants voudront se balancer / papier / ciseaux pour l'endroit d'observation des étoiles!

Dehors, il y a tout un monde à explorer. La grande terrasse offre de nombreuses vues à apprécier, ou flânez sur l'un des sentiers de la grande propriété. Il y a un grand barbecue pour vos steaks de dîner, puis un foyer pour plus tard dans la soirée quand il est temps de rôtir des guimauves.

Lorsque vous êtes prêt pour une aventure sur la colline, visitez la plage de Whaleshead, à moins d'un mile de distance. Des sentiers de randonnée suivent le littoral jusqu'à Brookings, ou dirigez-vous vers le nord pour d'autres options.

We enjoyed our time at this lovely cabin and hope to stay here again. The privacy of the mountains plus the stunning ocean views makes for the perfect getaway. We enjoyed spending time by the fire in the evenings as well.

This house did not disappoint. Beautiful views, well-stocked, comfy beds, unique design features, and loads of outdoor space. The shower downstairs is incredible and the tub has the best ocean view in the whole house!

This is a beautiful cabin with a lot of space, well stocked and plenty of fun things to do. The view is spectacular. The road leading to the cabin is dirt and a bit steep but short. Everything else is great!

Excellent, Peaceful, Secluded

This is a great home base for exploring the Oregon Coast and Northern California sights. We were here for the better part of a week. Extremely comfortable, beautiful setting and great proximity to a multitude of activities. We hope to stay here again some day and would highly recommend it for families that love the outdoors.

Peaceful cabin on the mountaintop

Perfect getaway. Cabin blends right into the beautiful surroundings with a breathtaking view of the ocean at sunset. We found the kitchen well equipped to cook, the place was very clean and so peaceful. We will definitely return .

Cabin in the Woods

Loved all the unique details, comfortable layout, and beautiful views. The sunset was best viewed from the top deck, but we loved the view from the swing in the living room too. The king bed was super comfy! The garden tub with ocean view was a treat. Enjoyed the proximity to beautiful beaches. We are seniors... 72 and 75. We both loved our stay.

What a find!

Beautiful sunset scenery

The house was clean and had a beautiful sunset view. There’s multiple spots in and outside of the house to watch the sunset. The hill drive up is steep, so just keep that in mind. It’s a convenient distance from town. The only downside was there was no AC. Other than that, it was great.

Gorgeous views, well equipped

We loved the gorgeous views inside and out. The custom log beams and wood interior feel both comforting and luxurious. The home is well provisioned with cooking equipment and gear. Plenty of games for all ages. We had many people filling the beds. There are only two bedrooms but lots of sleeping options that the kids enjoyed- hello triple level bunk style! Perfect for cousins. No room darkening blinds on windows so bring your eye masks. This is one of the best stays we’ve ever had.

Great cozy spot for family getaway

Cabin was super cozy with a beautiful view. Far enough away to feel like you are in the forest, but super close to town and hikes and beaches and even the redwoods in California. Only complaint is I emailed property manager twice - once to confirm they received the rental notice I signed and another to ask for advice on local hikes, and no response was ever received. Likely due to the fact that it is a property management company running it as opposed to a homeowner.

The place was hard to find up a steep bumpy gravel single lane road. When we arrived we could not get TV to work. When I called about this I was told to rent dvds. No cable TV so we put a puzzle together. The upstairs had bunk beds and all beds in one room. A live bat swarmed our bed at night so opened door to get it out. I would never rent this home again paid over $900 for 2 nights.

We are sorry to hear your time at this Cabin was not as you had expected. The description and photos to this home are very accurate. There is NOT cable at this property as written in the description for this listing- Only Internet. This review is the first we have ever heard of any bats in this home. We hope your next booking here in Brookings better suits your lifestyle. This is a Cabin in the Woods. It is up a gravel road in the woods with wildlife. When writing the descriptions, neighborhood description and location of this home- we try to be as clear as we can with writting. This is a stunning 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom 2 story custom cabin in the woods. The owner comes here to escape- there is a flat screen TV in both living room and upstairs bedroom with DVD access. There is internet access so people are more than welcome to stream or bring their own persoanl roku or fire sticks if TV is there main sorce of entertainment while in Brookings. Again we are pleased the home was otherwise enjoyed and well stocked for your stay. We are sorry that the description for this home was misconstrued in any way.
