Pacific Way Villa, située à Gearhart, est parfaite pour une escapade en famille de huit personnes ou moins. Avec quatre chambres et une salle de bain et demi, cette belle maison vous donnera envie de revenir encore et encore. Si les murs pouvaient parler, cette maison seigneuriale pourrait probablement écrire une série de romans! À la différence de toutes les maisons de la région, Pacific Way Villa rappelle une maison emblématique d'Hollywood où Audrey Hepburn, Clark Gable ou Humphrey Bogart aurait pu vivre.

Juste à l'intérieur de l'entrée à double porte, vous vous retrouverez dans votre propre villa isolée. Un décor intérieur unique en son genre promet de belles surprises dans tous les coins. Un savoir-faire artisanal et des détails complexes peuvent être trouvés dans cette maison de vacances. Le niveau principal donne accès à la grande véranda donnant sur les jardins entretenus par des professionnels. Le niveau inférieur donne également accès aux jardins et à un grand espace de vie ouvert pour se détendre et profiter du piano. Venez séjourner à Pacific Way Villa aujourd'hui!

Veuillez noter que les bateaux, remorques et véhicules de camping ne sont malheureusement pas autorisés. Cette maison vous permet d'amener jusqu'à deux chiens pendant vos vacances ici. Ne laissez jamais les chiens sans surveillance dans ou sur la propriété.

proximity to the coast the estuary and town is just priceless. We loved the place and the history of its original owners. The only thing i would recommend is adding more forks and a coffee grinder. Such a great weekend in this fun spot!

This villa is very spacious. Location is perfect. It does need updating. None of the bedroom windows open downstairs so forget listening to the ocean. The home does smell musty. Overall it certainly met our needs.

Great spot!

This beach house is in an amazing location! You can’t beat the short walk to the beach or to downtown Gearhart. We really enjoyed our stay. Things could use some updating or maintained. We didn’t find any hairdryers or the iron didn’t work, which are important things when you’re visiting for a wedding. Once those little details would be fixed, we’d totally come back.

Gatsby-esque comfort

This property is absolutely beautiful; for a 100 year old home on the coast it's stunning. It both smelled and appeared clean. All linens and upholstery were in good condition. I do wish the patio had been open, but it was a chilly weekend and I still enjoyed a nice stroll through the garden.

Advertised features not available/inaccurate. Fireplace didn't work. No off street parking, sidewalk missing (had to navigate broken ground). Owners had outdoor construction scheduled in the morning during our stay, did not inform us and failed to respond when asked about it. Beds were 3 full and 1 queen (not 3 queens as listed). Beds ranged from OK to poor. Many dished were dirty, disorganized and there were only 3 forks in the kitchen. Interior was mostly clean, but a bit shabby (ad photos were misrepresentative). Whole house smelled musty. Multiple minor maintenance issues (many light bulbs burnt out). Pluses, great location, good water pressure-plenty of hot water. Central heating was good. Main floor bath was very nice. Upstairs was OK, but small. Yard and balcony would be very nice in good weather.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the stay did not meet expectations. I appreciated that you found the location, water pressure, heating, and main-floor bath to be positives. Unfortunately the fireplace has been out of order for some time and has been removed from the amenities list. The musty smell and overall cleaning concerns — including dirty dishes and limited utensils — were passed to housekeeping so they can address deep cleaning and restock kitchen supplies. I also corrected the listing details with the owners: the bedroom mattress sizes will be updated to reflect 3 fulls and 1 queen, and we will evaluate the mattresses for replacement or treatment. Regarding parking, we do note in your arrival information that there is no off-street parking available and that up to three vehicles are permitted. The city was in the process of pouring a new sidewalk during your stay. That work has been completed and the new sidewalk is really nice. We apologize you were not informed about the owners’ outdoor work; we’ll improve guest communication to. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention so we can make the necessary improvements.

This is a cool house; the family agrees. It was built in 1912, reminded me of the movie Sunset Boulevard so old and it show it in places. Part of the charm. One reviewer noted a musty smell. All old beach houses in Oregon are musty and one step ahead of the decay. Also part of the charm. Great location, wonderful yard. Want to go back

Great fun house but the kitchen wasn’t well stocked. They didn’t even have a salad bowel.

Just wasn’t up to par

Honestly I was quite disappointed with the lack of overall upkeep on the home. Being a 100+ year old home isn’t much of an excuse to be poorly maintained. The roughest part of the stay was the overwhelming musty smell throughout the home as though it hadn’t been aired out all year. After the price of one night plus adding in the almost $450 in fees we were expecting a little more comfort and upkeep.

Not a clean house

The floors were dirty and furniture throughout were dirty, carpet upstairs had stains outside the bedroom, deck had weeds and lots of dead leaves, a dirty refrigerator, a large frying pan with eggs cooked on left in the cupboard, garbage left in house with food waste including watermelon and spiders around outside.

An unusual and surprising find for oregon. One can feel the love and work that was put into its design and flow and texture. Dated, yes, needs some repairs yes(doors need some attention) and some missing items(not enough forks) but the home functions fine once you get to know it’s secrets. I felt the home truly welcomed and held us warmly, the sculptured garden and grounds gave delight out every window. There was a majestic Elk who seemed drawn to the quiet garden as well, he acted like a regular visitor. I would stay here again, and again .

misleading/fraudulent property description

The listing tripled the nightly rate for the holiday weekend which is standard, but they misrepresented the number of bedrooms as 5 when it is only four. It also noted a sofa bed which it does not provide. Drilling into the reviews a guest noticed this misrepresentation earlier and was told it would be rectified. It wasn't. We did not have the privacy for our group that we had contracted for - we were only (7) to our party but we needed that fifth bedroom and the sofa bed for privacy, and that is what we were expecting.

Family reunion

The house is dated but very nice. It has a few issues due to its age. There is quite a draft from the windows upstairs. The sofa in the living room did not make into a bed as indicated in the listing, so one of our family members had to sleep on the couch. Also, there are no extra blankets for the sofa bed, or for any of the bedrooms. Thankfully we brought blankets and pillows with us. There was a shortage of spoons and no baking dishes in the kitchen which was a little inconvenient. The front door did not stay closed, due to wind, unless it was locked. None the less, we enjoyed our stay,

This house has been remuddled over the years, which is OK if other things had been tended to. The house smells very musty. Reviews over the years mention that the fireplace didn't work. It still doesn't. None of the doors or windows fit correctly, have no screens, and most of the windows have locks that don't work. The front door is a security concern. The windows are very dirty, but they can't match the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen. The cupboards inside and out are greasy and dusty, and the cooking supplies are completely disorganized. There's a nice selection of videos but no video player. The instruction manual is inaccurate and incomplete. In the new bathroom, there's no shower caddy so no place to put shampoo, etc. There are very few hangers in the bedrooms, no hair dryers, no throws in the living room.We were sent the wrong code to open the lock box to get the key. You'd think with all that needs to be done on this place, they'd go out of their way to provide some amenities, but all the supplies, like toilet paper and paper towels, are the cheapest available. We bought softer TP. The owner fee is higher than most so it's hard to see what they're spending it on. The balcony is full of weeds, and it was having structural work done on it so we couldn't use it. There's lots of work needed on the outside of the house. On the positive side, the heat works very well. The yard is beautiful and very inviting. Our advice is to believe all the negative reviews.
