Cooinda Cottage was absolutely a delight to stay in. Neat, clean, tidy and comfortable. Easy walk to beach and shops. Easy to book and gain access. Good communication with host.

Fantastic location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In short walking distance to the beach, sea pool and shops. Cooinda Cottage is comfortable, light and breezy. It has all we need for a beach side holiday with good food and board games. Narene and Maddy are always super helpful and friendly.

Extended stay

Enjoyed the area and holiday home so much that we booked for an extra night the only thing that could make the house better would be a dishwasher.

The house felt gritty and grimey, the lounge felt really dusty, the second bedroom smelt of stale cigarette smoke and the oven and stove top would not ignite. We ended up buying some sheets so that we could sit comfortably on the lounge and I ended up sleeping in the lounge because the smell in the bedroom ended up making me feel sick.Felt like the whole place needs a deep clean to get rid of the dust, grime, cob webs and fustiness.Will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone else.The nicest thing was the tree by the steps and the morning sun on the verandah.

A breezy beach cottage to call your own

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A few minutes walk to the patrolled beach, sea pool, lagoon, rock pools, shops and rainforest headland. We walked everywhere, including out for dinner and drinks at the Surf Club. The house is welcoming, fresh and light with birds that visit the deck. We had everything we needed for a beach family holiday with a well stocked kitchen for a big cook up after being by the sea all day.

The house was clean and well kept, and made for a very enjoyable stay. The kitchen and rooms were well equiped and the hot kudos shower was lovely.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here a couple of years ago and returned to find Cooinda Cottage looking fresh and lovely. The new linen service was so convenient. We saw whale splashes from the front deck. It is well located in walking distance to the beach, sea pool, supermarket and a couple of bistro’s. It’s all we need for a relaxed, beach-side family holiday.

Very Dusty!

Spent half of our first day cleaning, bed side tables, under beds, under sink, cooker. Pillow protecters had to be washed before clean pillow cases could be put on.
