We are sorry to hear that your stay was not what you had hoped for. We take cleanliness very serious, so please never hesitate to reach out during your stay if something was overlooked or not cleaned properly. Homeowners are planning to renovate bathrooms in the near future and pictures show current bathrooms. The posted speed limit on the road next to the home is 25mph.

We greatly appreciate the wonderful rating and we are happy to hear that you enjoyed the home and your vacation on Anna Maria Island. Our cleaning fee is in fact one of the lowest when compared to other vacation rental homes on the island. We purposely do not offer a paid for by guest linen program as many other competitors do, so that our guests benefit from higher quality towels and sheets, as well as higher quantity of all, and in return we ask that only beach towels are washed and dried. Loading and starting the dishwasher prior to checkout can greatly expedite the cleaning, so that next guests can possibly check-in sooner, and we ask that trash is removed from inside the home. Absolutely everything else our cleaning team will of course take care of after departure.

We are sorry to hear that your stay was not entirely what you had hoped for. We inspect every property prior to our guest’s arrival to ensure that all was properly cleaned, and that amenities such as air condition, pool heat, internet etc are all working. Guest’s arrival was in the evening and between inspection and arrival the cable company’s equipment malfunctioned and required a full reset. We received a voicemail late evening and stopped by the home the very next day (Monday) around 10AM and were able to resolve issue for the guest. We are glad to hear that beds were comfortable and will follow up to see what else may have caused the mentioned backaches. We have lots of pictures from inside the home showing the furniture, as well as the third bedroom with the pocket door connection to the master bedroom. In addition, the map of the listing shows the exact location of the home and the street next to home has a speed limit of only 25 mph. During our visit for internet connection, guests asked about the water quality from fridge dispenser. We did not find anything wrong with the water quality by either look or taste, inspected and showed the guests the filter cartridge with marked replacement date of just 1.5 months ago. We also offered to purchase and deliver some bottled water if they felt uncomfortable drinking the water, but guest declined. The pool is advertised as heated to 84F and we confirmed that all was working properly. We communicate the set pool temperature in great detail in our rental agreement which guest signs online. Increasing the temperature is an option at a very reasonable price of $15 per day, but this was declined by guests as well. Neither the water from dispenser nor pool temperature were communicated to us as big issues, so we are disappointed to see it mentioned in the review.
