La grande grange rouge sur la rivière

La Big Red Barn est une grange d'aspect traditionnel à l'extérieur et une maison de vacances à l'intérieur. Des fenêtres panoramiques donnent sur la rivière Blanche qui est à quelques pas de la porte d'entrée. Pêcher avec votre café du matin sur votre propre place privée. Les activités de plein air abondent à Meeker. La propriété est située très près de la zone de chasse au gros gibier et de la chasse à la vache en décembre. Vous pouvez faire de la randonnée, pêcher, chasser, faire de l'eau, et une tonne d'activités hivernales. La grange bénéficie d'un accès pratique à la zone de nature sauvage de Flat Top, au lac Trappers et au monument national des dinosaures. La maison est également assez proche pour skier à Steamboat Springs (100 miles) qui est la ville de ski, aux États-Unis.

La grande grange rouge est fabriquée à la main avec un grand plan d'étage ouvert avec des plafonds de 9 pieds. Il y a 1 chambre principale et 2 salles de bain complètes. L'aire ouverte peut accueillir de 4 à 6 personnes dans des arrangements de style familial. Il y a une grande cuisine équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin, y compris un réfrigérateur, un micro-ondes, des ustensiles de cuisine et un barbecue sur le porche.

Il y a un séjour minimum de quatre nuits pendant les mois d'octobre à décembre pour la saison de chasse. Un séjour de deux nuits est requis pendant le reste de l'année. Après une journée d'aventure, il est temps de se détendre sur le porche et d'écouter mère nature. La maison offre WIFI et télévision par câble.

This is our second time staying at the house on sixth Street the red barn in Meeker absolutely outstanding always clean with all the amenities slept five guys very comfortably. Camp is cool during the hot days warm during the cold nights. We are already looking forward to making our plans for staying there Next year.

Location was ideal! Quiet, well organized, and the perfect place to relax after all day in the sun. The host communicated exceptionally well and quickly definitely a winner… No wonder it’s already booked for next year!

Great times

Was a very nice property and had more room than we needed...The view of the river was obstructed by over grown trees but not that badly....we enjoyed the time and space for our granddaughter's wedding! Other family members were not able to attend.... Enjoyed out stay and may visit here again!

Spacious & peaceful home by the river

The photos were nice, the setting appealing. When we arrived we found much more... The setting was absolutely lovely, backing to the White River that lulled us to sleep at night, surrounded by trees and natural landscaping, very quiet, private, and peaceful. The home has a bright open floor plan with large nicely appointed fully stocked updated kitchen with two eating areas, a large living room with flat-screen TV and DVD player, books, board games, plenty of windows to enjoy the beauty and serenity, and a private deck with quality BBQ and comfy cushioned chairs adds to the splendor. Nice linens on very comfortable beds and bright updated bathrooms, a huge garage for vehicles and "toys"... and Karla, the gracious owner, went above and beyond to make our stay outstanding. We will come back again...thank you, Karla, for everything!

Relaxing stay

Loved the location, especially the view on the deck with the sound of the White River and only a two block walk to town. Would definitely stay there again and such a friendly community with gorgeous scenery!

The stay was very nice and Karla was an excellent host. While we had a bit of a mix up about the cleaning service Karla took care of it and the stay was excellent. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful!

We come to Meeker, CO every year for a nice relaxing vacation. The town is beautifully situated in the Colorado mountains and it is only a short drive up a scenic road to two clear lakes and a rustic lodge in the Flat tops wilderness area. This home sits at the bank of the White River, very private setting, comfortable home with fully stocked kitchen and large multi-car garage. Plenty of linens, furnishings, and nice comfy bed(s). Meeker is also home to the annual National Sheepdog Classic, bringing dogs and handlers from different parts of the US and Canada each fall. During the summer there is a farmers market, a local rodeo, gatherings and music in the park and abundant fishing. Hunting is a popular activity in the cooler months as well. We will be coming back to our 'home away from home' for some years to come!

The restful river barn...

We had a lovely stay in Meeker. The community is beautiful, the weather was perfect (a little snow, a lot of sunshine) and the proximity to the river was peaceful. The home was well-stocked with what we needed with easy access to groceries, restaurants and coffee shops. The internet sustained telework for a couple days, and there were plenty of adventure opportunities around.

Great hunting trip stay

There is not a lot of privacy with the bedroom situation but it was just fine for what we needed and very affordable. The river behind the house gives a great vibe and it’s very conveniently located. Overall perfect for a hunting group.

My Father always wanted a house that looked like the classic red barn. He custom built this home with his own hands. He was very talented and had the foresight to allow enough space so his family could visit often. Sadly, he passed in 2007. We visit the "barn" home often, and want to share the peaceful experience we always have when visiting Meeker.

This house has the BEST location in town. It sits right on the banks of the white river, across from rolling pastures and beautiful views. All within walking distance to the main downtown area. You don't need a car once you arrive, unless you want to visit the local hiking and hunting areas.

Outdoor paradise. There are so many outdoor opportunities to be had when you visit the big red barn. Hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, four wheeling and tubing. Meeker is close to Steamboat Springs for skiing and visiting Dinosaur National Monument. The home sits in a Beautiful Mountain setting.
