LA MAISON BLANCHE est une maison de vacances moderne de 2 étages et 4 chambres pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes avec une vue imprenable sur la mer depuis le balcon.

A l'étage - Cuisine ouverte avec micro-ondes, réfrigérateur / congélateur, lave-vaisselle, machine à café (grains de café BYO), coin salon avec TV, DVD, CD, doubles portes ouvertes sur balcon, extérieur. Chambre principale, salle de bain avec vanité, w / c et douche, barrière de sécurité pour enfants pour les escaliers, climatisation canalisée à cycle inversé.

En bas - Séjour avec TV, DVD, Wii (jeux BYO), 3 chambres, salle de bains avec douche et baignoire pleine grandeur, vanité, w / c séparés. Buanderie avec lave-linge à chargement frontal, sèche-linge. Barrière de sécurité pour enfants pour les escaliers. Climatisation à cycle inversé canalisé. Barbecue à gaz, piscine hors terre (non disponible pendant les mois d'automne et d'hiver), installation de nettoyage du poisson, beaucoup d'espace pour bateau et parking.

Configuration des lits - chambre principale - lit king, lit 2 - lit king, lit 3 - lit queen, lit 4 - 2 lits superposés.

While the home shows signs of aging that is what allows you to relax and not be too intense as you would in a five star home. Yep there’s money to be spent on the home and a few things updated/repaired with that in mind you won’t be disappointed. Have dealt with AOY for many years, always a pleasure!

But everyone gets their own space at this home. Great location. And most importantly we wouldn't use any property management service other than Accommodation on Yorkes - they are the best!

Great location but missing some necessities

This was a great location just far enough to have nice walks. We happened upon a very wet stormy period and were housebound for almost 3 days. We also had a blackout on one of those nights. This made the things that were lacking in the property more obvious. Firstly coat hangers, only a couple per room was not enough. Cereal bowls 1 was not enough, candles and matches ( in case of blackout), an iron. The Arcade machine was not working, with only one control working. DVD options were not great. I would suggest bringing something to stream TV. On our last day the sun came out and we thought we might try the pool. But there was some debris and there was no net to clean it, so we decided against it. These were all just little things that may not have been as notable any other time but it would have made the stay nicer. The rest was perfectly good.

But underwhelming property with maintenance issues - aircon did not work, TV didn’t work, broken towel rail and blocked bathroom sink, damaged wall, stained carpet, one of the arcade machine controls didn’t work, pool was green with algae and back yard had lots of dog poo in it. A shame. :(

Good value dog friendly stay

Very impressed with the service from the property managers when we called regarding an issue with the electric kettle - they delivered a new kettle that afternoon and were happy to receive feedback on the cleanliness of the oven which was not good in our opinion. The remainder of the house was clean and in good order. We visited the local hotels, cafe, museum, craft shop, surf shop, well stocked IGA and made sure we supported the local economy. Our dog loved the beach walks and having a sniffari in the local native park. A very enjoyable stay and would stay at the White House again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location to relax and enjoy the view. Our stay could have been a memorable experience with a few easy fixes. When we arrived the pool needed attention and wasn't suitable to swim in for 3 days due to green algae. The hosts were quick to react, however it took time for the pool to recover. We also ran out of gas during our stay which meant cold showers, but once again hosts reacted quickly the next morning and gas was delivered in under an hour. This place could be really nice with new curtains, carpet and a coat of paint to the stairwell. A guest information/welcome folder would have been very handy also.Simple fixes would have made for a better experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great house for a vacation in Edithburgh. Fabulous for the dogs with a fully enclosed back yard. Lots of room and close to the ctre and a beautiful walk to sultana point. I would highly recommend. My only complaint is that for the money I would have expected essentials provided such as cooking oil. Salt and pepper. Dishwasher tablets. Bin bags. Toilet roll. These are things you don’t generally travel with and easily forgotten. The carpet is also very badly stained. However it was very comfortable and clean.
