Perfect Condo for a Golf Trip

The rooms are open to the outside and in close proximity. The pool is large enough to accommodate everyone and the beach is a few easy steps away.

Great location

The condo was the perfect size for our family of 5. My kids enjoyed the pool and being so close to the beach. The only negative I will say is that we stayed during the week of Easter and the pool got really crowded, but we just waited until later in the day to enjoy it and spent the day at the beach. The condo had every cooking utensil we needed. You will need to bring your own beach chairs/towels. The location was convenient to a Wal-Mart so we could get all of the groceries we needed. This was a great stay, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so excited to see what our place looked like! It is quintessential beach themed unit! I love the porches overlooking the pool and beach. Everyone always seemed to be having a great time, you can see all the people on their porches hanging out and laughing- the vibe was always on point. Everything inside was clean and comfortable. Loved having the wash/dryer in the unit. We don’t have any complaints and will absolutely be staying here again. We were truly sad to leave! If I had to find something for them to improve on it would be the parking, if you get a covered spot ( if you can find an open one) you’re fine otherwise it’s very hard to park and back up and out.with how little the parking area is.

Just doesn't seem right. The only reason we chose this unit is because it was the only one left.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did enjoy are stay, we love the Sandpiper and its location. Our condo is a little dated but furniture was clean and comfortable. We had several light bulbs burn out when we were there but Bender staff was prompt to replace them. The can spot lights above the table need to be replaced. We purchased the linen service but the kitchen dish towels and dish cloth were actually bathroom towels. The bath towels were also pretty worn with exception of one. We have already booked for next year and look forward to our stay in Gulf Shores.

We had easy access to the pool and the beach. We were allowed to enjoy ourselves around the pool without being hassled by overbearing security, and we enjoyed the folks who were staying around us.

Our Unit was really nice, cozy, and had all of what we needed!The other guests became our "neighbors" and we had fun times. The rental, maintenance and cleaning crew were always helpful and kind. I really experience "southern hospitality" here and in Gulf Shores. We have booked for next year! (Only suggestion-get rid of Dish TV-poor quality)

Sandpiper 11B Aug. 16 - 23

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a good week at Sandpiper. The unit had plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped. We had just a few things that weren't quite right. The bathrooms weren't perfectly clean. There was mold/mildew in the track of the shower doors of both bathrooms. The tubs didn't look clean...looked like they weren't scrubbed in spots. Also, the tile in the bathrooms looked dirty around the edges of the baseboard making us wonder how well it was mopped. The coffee maker was the filthiest I have ever seen. I spent over 30 minutes cleaning it the first morning before making coffee. Our only other complaint is how much smoking there was by other guests. We realize it was outside on the decks and people need to smoke outside but there was so much that it was difficult to enjoy sitting outside the unit. There was even a time when our units outside chairs were covered with ashes that had spilled down from the unit above us and had to be cleaned.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sandpiper has an excellent location and many of the other condos have updated. However our condo had not. The condo had cool a/c and plenty of warm water, but we just not comfortable. We lived out of our bags and didn't even unpack. Absolutely the hardest bed we have slept on or attempted to sleep on. We actually considered sleeping on the couch because it was more comfortable. The previous renters put the dishes back in the cabinet dirty. We had to wash dishes before and after we used them. However, the condo itself was clean.

Loved the heated pool and close proximity to the beach. Everyone staying there were super friendly. Food was phonomomal everywhere. It will be a long time until we eat seafood in Ky! Hoping to stay two weeks next year. When you go really just bring your swimsuit and beach towel! Thank you for a memory making week!
