La grande pièce bordée de bois de cette charmante maison comprend un salon avec poêle à bois et une grande TVHD / DVD. Le plafond voûté donne de l'espace et de la lumière à la salle à manger et au bar de petit-déjeuner attenant à la cuisine entièrement équipée. Deux chambres, une reine et une suite avec une télévision HD et une kitchenette, partagent l'espace au rez-de-chaussée avec une buanderie pratique. Great family get away spot!

Great location —a couple blocks to the beach and several blocks into town. We ended up using the pickleball and tennis rackets at the park across the street…that was fun. Perfect setup for a family of four. Lots of stuff to do in Manzanita and close to Nehalem as well.

Enjoyed our rental

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was terrific. The grandchildren were across the street from playgrounds and Pickleball, the beach was a very short walk away, and the main street of Manzanita with ice cream and groceries was very close. It’s a cozy place on a quiet street.

Perfect location

We had such a blast here. The check in was later than expected, but the manager communicated clearly and compensated for the delay. It was a rainy weekend but we had plenty of games to play there, and it cleared up just enough for us to play pickleball across the street for our first time! The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The kids are already asking when we can go back. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great stay!

We enjoyed the house, the neighborhood, the beach, and surrounding activities. It was nice to have volleyball, tennis, and pickleball so conveniently located! Wish their was recycling here.

We love the Play Chalet!

This is our second stay at The Play Chalet and it does not disappoint. The kitchen has been remodeled and is very well appointed. The layout is perfect for couples and for families as well. The location is great - two blocks to the beach, a bit farther into town, very close to a playground. We will continue to stay at this home when we visit Manzanita!

A fun spot.

Overall we had a lovely time! Location is great, close to the beach, park and a short walk into town. We struggled to all sit together in the living room as there were not enough seats but all in all a sweet, simple place to spend a weekend. Thanks for having us!

Play Chalet

The home was perfect!! The home was clean, it was spacious (could easily accommodate 3 families), it was in a great location - easy to walk to town or to the beach. It was a very quiet part of town. We had a fire on the last night, and it was wonderful! Highly recommend. We will be back for sure.

Play Chalet Escape

Incredible property for young kids. It was two moms of young kids and a grandma enjoying a mid-week escape to the beach. The play loft was magical. Location was perfect for little legs.

Great location

Location is perfect. Across the street from a park for kids to play. Very short walk to the beach. And walking distance to the main street for coffee, restaurants and shops. Kitchen is nice of you like to cook. Lots of books, games and puzzles are available. Very relaxing.

Relaxing Walks to the Beach and Downtown

Was in Portland for a work trip but beautiful weather on the coast meant heading to the beach for a quick trip! Our group had a variety of ages (pre-teen, middle age adults, and elderly) and it was just perfect for us. Easy to walk to the beach and downtown Manzanita, enough sleeping spaces, and games galore. Thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was very clean, comfortable and the location was perfect! A few kitchen items needed a bit more cleaning before use but other than that we had no issues. The beds were comfortable and my kids LOVED the loft room. We really enjoyed the park across the street. It was a short walk to downtown and the beach.

Grateful for the nice stay

We had not been away for much since 2015 as we have horses and a small farm. We enjoyed relaxing at the Play Chalet. However our stay was cut short due to an emergency with our old horse, and had to leave in a hurry early Friday morning. We appreciated Meredith Lodging checking us out by phone call. We had to put our old horse down so that was a sad ending to our long-awaited vacation.

Wonderful home within a Manzanita neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay in this house! It is set right in a neighborhood in Manzanita, with a park (tennis, volleyball, play structure, picnic area) right across the street. It is a bit difficult to make out the layout of the house from the photos, but it is quite spacious. There is a vaulted living/dining/kitchen area, with a stairway that leads to an open loft w/queen & 2 single beds + lots of play area & games for kids (and a 1/2 bath). There is a hallway leading from the living area to a bedroom w/a king, and a full bath, and at the end of the hall you step down into a very spacious bedroom w/a queen bed, seating area, separate bath & kitchen countertop w/sink & cabinets. There is an L-shaped deck which we used a lot - and walk about 3 blocks, to a beach access trail. Overall, everything we needed! I highly recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great getaway to celebrate our grandson's birthday. Play Chalet is located across from the local park and a short walk to the beach - just perfect for the little ones. Plenty of room for the whole family. Enjoyed the fact the home is clean and well appointed but not too fussy to have the little ones enjoy themselves. Owners have everything you can think of from the sand toys to the pancake griddle. We hope to return again next year. Only point to complain about is that the code we were given in our email was wrong. Had to call the management company to get the right one.
