Beautiful, large home with spectacular view and location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of 13 thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again. Tons of space, fantastic pool, every bedroom with its own full bathroom. The beach and ocean are maybe 200 feet away. The views of the beach,ocean and Camino Real Zaashila hotel and property was amazing. The hotel wasn’t really that busy, which was great. The My Huatulco people and property manager were great to deal with. We took advantage of the airport transfer both ways and the arrival pantry stocking, which all worked out very well. Only caution would be it’s not a good beach for swimming, so if that’s important to you, I would pick a different location.

Amazing Getaway

Our experience was wonderful. The dishwasher was broken, but the property manager made it right immediately. Our group very much enjoyed the location and access to the resort. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone with a bigger group looking for a getaway. Can't wait to come back to Huatulco again soon!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When you rent a villa that has six bedrooms and a kitchen, it is because you expect to put the kitchen to good use. Otherwise, you'd just rent rooms in a hotel and eat out all the time. Unfortunately, neither the dishwasher nor the refrigerator worked properly, hampering our plans. The rental manager tried valiantly to help. But, with five kids ages seven and younger, it was a challenge. The place has a wonderful view of the resort and the coast, just like the photo. Access to the resort was a real benefit. Taxi availability was excellent.

Great location

The property is spacious for large groups and family; spectacular location , sunset, beach, pools and excellent concierge. However improvements are needed in the property: kitchen is not totally equipped with basics like salt , pepper , kitchen towels, sugar, coffee filters; some were required and received the day after, but we still had to buy upon arrival. Dishwasher is broken and not included in amenities. Some pots and pans need to be changed for new ones. . Fridge works but needs to be colder. Bathroom towels really old. Water wasn’t hot enough in some showers. Would we return?? Yes

The pictures and description of the house was very misleading.

We did not feel safe in that house. It is so open to the outdoors made it very uncomfortable to feel secure! It is a 6 bedroom house that could have 12 people staying there and the kitchen is so small that there is no way it is adequate whatsoever!! The dishwasher is out of order! That is not acceptable for such a large house! The owners need to replace it! For the amount of money charged to rent the house we feel it is very underwhelming and disappointing! The location was the only good thing about the house. It is also stated that is new!! There is no way it is a new!!! That house is in need of a major upgrade!!!

Steps from the beach where you can just relax under palapas, drink, eat and rent jet-skis etc. The pool was perfect they even have an elevator!!. The rooms and kitchen were so clean when we arrived. The AC helped with the heat. Waking up to birds chirping it was beautiful. The help and attentiveness from maintenance was spot on. We would definately return to this place. Thank you!.

Unresolved Problems

The refrigerator hovered between 47 and 57 degrees. We reported it on the first day and it was never resolved. One member of our party developed food poisoning as a result of eating spoiled food. Also, one of the two water heaters was not working so there were many cold showers throughout the week. This was also reported on the first day and never resolved. No one met us for check in at the house causing great confusion. Finally, there was a VERY LARGE hidden charge for cleaning fees made by the resort next door when we finally did get checked in (VRBO won’t let me post the amount but you could pay for a lot of excursions for that charge). Despite this fee the kitchen was filthy as were most of the common area furniture cushions and bedspreads. This property management company is doing a very poor job. Avoid the management company My Huatulco Vacation or website of the same name if you’re renting a property here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful views and the pool was perfect. The chef service was wonderful and we even added in daily guacamole delivery! YUM! The pantry stocking is an absolute MUST! A few things I would change were maintenance issues: kitchen door was broken, toilets didn't work properly, master shower head dysfunctional, would be nice for directions to the bedroom AC units and a coffee pot that needs to be replaced. Providing coffee filters would be helpful too. Would I stay here again? YES!

Great time Judy. Kerri – best recommendation ever!!! That place was the bomb – and absolutely perfect for us. My father in law felt very safe and comfortable getting around with mobility challenges he has and so did we! So fantastic to have 3 generations all under one gorgeous roof. Parents, kids and grandparents. So cool. The resort was calm and just a paradise steps to our villa pool, the resort pool, restaurants and bars or the beach. Literally no more than 3 minutes walk to all of this. And then of course it was a huge and beautiful Villa. Wow. Cathy – you were awesome. Answered every need I could ever want and made suggestions, was cool with all our plan changes etc. Day to day all day help when needed. Can’t thank you enough. I am so glad you showed me Huatulco and please let’s see if we can keep it a secret a little while longer. Safe, beautiful, relaxing paradise in 5 star style. Unbelievable. My only observation: the house needs sunscreens for the living room and dining room. During the afternoon it's very difficult to be at the house and avoid the intense sunlight that comes straight into every corner of the main area.

Awesome Family Vacation. We Love Huatulco
