We will be reviewing the safe carefully—thank you for bringing this to our attention. Regarding the toilet paper, we’re very sorry if the welcome supply was not enough. Since our service is not hotel-based, we provide only initial amenities to support your arrival, but we understand the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. As for the local wildlife, this area is surrounded by beautiful nature, so occasional visits can be common. Even so, we will continue doing everything possible to manage this and help maintain a comfortable environment for our guests. Hello Jennifer, thank you so much for your feedback, we appreciate it a lot and see it as an opportunity to help improve the stay of future guests! We would have loved to hear the issues you had with the house during your stay, so we could have taken immediate actions to fix them. The main goal of My Huatulco Vacation is to deliver the best vacations possible for our guests. Please know that after your departure and upon receiving this review/feedback, our team worked in collaboration with the property manager to coordinate a thorough walkthrough of the home; including a full fumigation. Though Huatulco is a tropical destination and therefor susceptible to tropical wildlife, what you experienced is not a regular occurrence for this property and we regret that your stay was affected. Regarding the view, although the photos accurately depict the view from the property, unfortunately there were material delays preventing the owner from proceeding with the planned/permanent privacy wall. This will be addressed as soon as possible! For now, the photos show the privacy wall as it appears today. Again, we truly appreciate your honest feedback and are pleased that although you had some hiccups during your stay, you valued the service provided by our team highly. Hi Timothy, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience and for your honest feedback - it is extremely valuable to us as we always strive to deliver exceptional experiences. In terms of the construction, we are truly sorry that there was a change to the neighbouring lots between the time that you initially reserved and when you arrived to the villa. Unfortunately this was something outside of our and the owner's control. Though this was communicated in advance of arrival - we understand and appreciate that it was disappointing news to have to hear and arrive to. Construction is now 100% complete and has been for some time; all images in the gallery are depicting the current view from the villa. You're correct that many people find it preferable to take a taxi - the good news is that they are easy to come by along the main road and less than $2 USD will get you into town. There is also a fantastic restaurant just down the road - about a 15 minute walk - called Ocean Bar & Grill. Finally, the optional package that you're referring to is intended for travellers who are looking to arrive to drinks and pantry items already pre-stocked in the home verses needing to go to the grocery store after a long travel day. It is something that many of our guests enjoy, however you are right that it is more cost effective in principle to do your own grocery shopping as there is no associated service fee. That is the best part of private vacation rentals, you can design your ideal set-up to suite your unique preferences and vision! We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back in the future.
