Our second time staying here, great house to host extended family for a trip to the snow. So warm and cozy, with everything you need to entertain a large group. The kids loved it.

Fantastic Place

Heaps of space, both inside and out. Hours of cricket in the front yard. A matter of minutes to walk down the road to the main shopping area. We had a great stay.

Ohakune - BachCare

The location is pretty awesome!! close to whakapapa which will take around 45mins drive. (not bad tbh). We're 4 families consisting of children and teenagers, we got one room each for the three families and we used the sleep out outside for the other family (it has its own sink and toilet/shower room). the only downside is that the main house looks a little bit different in the picture as in the picture, it looks like it has a very high ceiling. the space of the living room is pretty big! it has utensils, cookwares, ref, coffee pot etc which are very useful! overall i will rate it 8/10!! def not regretting the appointment :))

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that the location worked well for your group, and that you enjoyed being close to Whakapapa. It sounds like the space worked out perfectly for your families, and we’re glad the sleepout with its own amenities was a good option for one of the families. We’re also happy to hear that the living room space and the kitchen amenities were useful throughout your stay. We try to ensure guests have everything they need to make their stay comfortable, so it’s great to know that the utensils, cookware, and coffee pot were appreciated! We do apologize for any confusion regarding the ceiling height in the photos. We strive to present an accurate representation, but we understand how certain details can be interpreted differently. We’d love to welcome you and your group back in the future.
