Beautiful property stocked with everything that you could need. Quiet and serene. Right on the water but close to so many great eating and fishing spots. This was our second stay here and we couldn't recommend it enough!

The property was better than expected. The view of the river was lovely. We enjoyed watching the geese and their babies. We also saw foxes often. The beds were extremely comfortable. We slept like logs. The house was spotless and well equipped. It was located conveniently to my family in the area and not far from town and restaurants. A highlight of our trip was Salmon River Falls.

Our trip was awesome. Caught bass and a nice pickerel off the back lawn, saw a monster steelhead riding the surface but couldn’t get it to bite. The place is cozy, very clean, great water pressure in the bathrooms and close to a bunch of nice places to eat. Tater Town was awesome. Went out on a charter with Dirty Goose Sportfishing and slammed monster lakers, a bunch of big brown trout, two Atlantic salmon, and a smallmouth bass. Best charter I’ve ever been on. Will definitely be back. Thanks DSR for having us.

Wonderful Fishing Lodge

Clean and comfortable lodge. Positioned with water views and nice dock to fish from. This camp is very well maintained. Would definitely stay at this camp again in the future!

The Barclay family opened Douglaston Salmon Run in 1987 as a private-water sports-fishery. The property has been in the family since 1807, when it was settled by Colonel Rufus Price, an Aide-de-Camp to General George Washington during the Revolutionary War.
