Les Taiga Maison - vue sur la montagne inspirant à la lisière du parc national de Denali

La Taiga House est situé dans la forêt, juste au nord du parc national de Denali. Une fois un spacieux B & B connu comme "Le Grand View" il a été refait dans une maison de famille avec deux locations de vacances. Nos trois chambres, seconde résidence de plancher est fixé, encore privé, avec une entrée et la cour de son propre, une vue imprenable sur le paysage de montagnes de la région et le charme abondante. Il peut accueillir six personnes, avec 2 lits doubles et un lit de repos avec lit gigogne sous, salle de bain complète, grand salon / salle à manger et une cuisine entièrement équipée ainsi qu'un lave-linge / sèche-linge.
Il y a un bar-b-que grill, table de pique-nique, un foyer et en pleine nature étonnante juste devant la porte.
Il y a des restaurants, une brasserie artisanale et petites épiceries à seulement dix minutes de marche sur la piste, ou à deux minutes de route, et beaucoup plus de restaurants, bars et boutiques douze miles au sud de la zone touristique animée appelé Glitter Gulch l'extérieur de la entrée de Denali Park.

Since the place is on the second level you get an amazing view. We left Denali early one day due to SNOW on May 31 and picked up dinner and just sat at the table for hours talking and enjoying the view. The host are great and the place was perfect for us!

The host was very nice and responsive. The view from the home was incredible - plus there was the bonus of a moose walking through the yard. The home is only about 20 minutes to Denali National Park. There were plenty of towels and kitchen supplies available and it was convenient to the local grocery store and gas station.

The home is very well laid out, spacious, clean and the hosts were responsive. The views are nice, the parking is convenient and we had a great stay. The laundry was easy and ready to go. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked quite a bit. The coffee they provided was great. We saw moose from the windows and the beds are quite comfortable.

Our stay at The Taiga House was amazing. We were greeted by Todd on arrival. His kindness and enthusiasm was infectious. Our kids said he was the coolest person and it really made our stay special. The view from the house makes you feel like you’re living in a painting. It was so cool. The Taiga House was perfect for our family of 6. Todd and Julie made us feel like we were family visiting for a few days. We have stayed at many properties and The Taiga house was the most special place we have stayed at. Mahalo, Todd and Julie!

Hôte : Todd and Julie Shorey

The Taiga House is owned by Todd and Julie Shorey. Todd travelled to Alaska in 1986 and discovered the wonders of Denali National Park and the warmth of the people of the Interior, and never left. He has worked as a tour guide in the summer sun, and a carpenter on many Denali projects through out the winter months. Julie is a life long Alaskan, who grew up just down the road in Cantwell. Our family enjoys salmon fishing, hiking in Denali, picking and eating the seasonal berries, and the winter sports of ice hockey and skiing. Life is good for us here in Healy, and we look forward to sharing our mountain view home with you, and our knowledge of the Alaskan Interior.

Our family purchased this house and six acres of property in 2011 as we moved north from McKinley Village, and instantly fell in love with the open landscape that flows from the south door to the Mountains of Denali Park. As a family we have worked together to create a home, as well as guest spaces for visitors to enjoy. We are sure you'll agree that our location is ideal for your once in a lifetime Alaskan experience.

It is a great home base for your adventures into Denali, a wonderful location to take a morning trail walk with a cup of coffee, and an inviting space to simply relax and enjoy the view.
