Les Taiga Maison - vue sur la montagne inspirant Ă  la lisiĂšre du parc national de Denali

La Taiga House est situĂ© dans la forĂȘt, juste au nord du parc national de Denali. Une fois un spacieux B & B connu comme "Le Grand View" il a Ă©tĂ© refait dans une maison de famille avec deux locations de vacances. Nos trois chambres, seconde rĂ©sidence de plancher est fixĂ©, encore privĂ©, avec une entrĂ©e et la cour de son propre, une vue imprenable sur le paysage de montagnes de la rĂ©gion et le charme abondante. Il peut accueillir six personnes, avec 2 lits doubles et un lit de repos avec lit gigogne sous, salle de bain complĂšte, grand salon / salle Ă  manger et une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e ainsi qu'un lave-linge / sĂšche-linge.
Il y a un bar-b-que grill, table de pique-nique, un foyer et en pleine nature Ă©tonnante juste devant la porte.
Il y a des restaurants, une brasserie artisanale et petites épiceries à seulement dix minutes de marche sur la piste, ou à deux minutes de route, et beaucoup plus de restaurants, bars et boutiques douze miles au sud de la zone touristique animée appelé Glitter Gulch l'extérieur de la entrée de Denali Park.

Location is great for possible wildlife viewing. House was quiet and has great views of the mountains. Very close to Denali and places for gas, groceries, and restaurants. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful sceney and very comfortable place to stay, only a short drive to Denali entrance and 49th st brewery. We saw a moose and her baby by the road to the house. We loved every minute of our stay.

We had a great stay at The Taiga House. Location was great, on the edge of Healy which gave us great proximity to Denali NP, but also a bit away from the crowds. We loved looking out the windows to the forest in the backyard. Property was very clean and nice. Well stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were great, with helpful directions and good information. We had a leaky shower head the first night we were there and they fixed it quickly and seamlessly for us. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

The Taiga House is FABULOUS! We loved every moment. Kitchen facilities are OUTSTANDING! The appliances are top-of-the line. The house is immaculate. Lighting, heating, cleanliness, organization of linens and kitchen equipment made our stay extremely comfortable and easy. To top it off, the sunset views from the second floor were unbelievable! I will definitely return.

Awesome stay

Wonderful spot for a family. Pictures don't do the home or the view justice. Truly wonderful. Extremely well equipped kitchen with high quality appliances and accessories, and many thoughtful touches throughout thr home. Nearby Three Bears grocery store very easy to get to and prices were really reasonable. Quick hop to the Denali park road. Wonderful hosts, super cute and friendly dogs on property. Would 1000% return.

Peace and Tranquility nearby to Denali Park

Wonderful, comfortable and clean accommodations in Healy, minutes from Denali Park. Todd, Julie and the dogs were gracious hosts. Very enjoyable and great spot to experience the best of Denali Natl Park. Hiked Mount Healy overlook, Triple Lakes, Savage River Alpine, and Horseshoe Lake. Saw Bears, Caribou, Dall Sheep, and Moose.

Great spot in Denali

We loved our stay here in Denali. This is a great spot and location. Hiking in property and amazing views! Todd and Julie are great! Super informative and incredibly nice. I highly recommend staying here!

From the moment we arrived, we felt immediately welcome and were greeted by our host and their adorable dogs! Our first morning did not disappoint as we spotted a moose moving through the back woods. The next day we saw a mama moose and her twins! We enjoyed visiting Denali park and had perfect weather. Finally, we did the hike out the back of the house and saw yet another moose and baby. The house was very comfortable for the six of us and one bathroom did not pose any problems. We would highly recommend Taiga House to anyone staying in Healy or nearby!

Perfect Stay

We loved the proximity of the house to the park! We really enjoyed our stay. The house was super clean and comfy. We loved the views out of the window and loved playing with the dogs. We grilled out one night. The kitchen was to stocked with everything we needed. We had a nice hot shower too which was nice.

Great place to stay for a visit to Denali

My husband and I and my brother in law and sister in law spent 3 nights at the Taiga House while we visited Denali. The house was clean and comfortable, well appointed, with a great view. The hosts were responsive. We were very happy with our stay.

Easy to book great communication

We booked last minutes while traveling in Alaska and an unexpected flight changed forced a sudden cancellation. The hosts were quick to respond and generous with their policy. Will definitely stay with them when we return and can get to the Denali area.

Beautiful setting

Wonderful stay! Owners are so nice and friendly. View and setting are wonderful! Cabin is well stocked. Nice peaceful trail behind the place too! We also loved the friendly dogs.

Great lication

We were fortunate enough to be able to rent the studio apartment as well as the three bedroom one bath house. This combination was perfect for our group of eight which consisted of three couples and two single adults. The houses were great and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated them, leaving us spare spray. We were also appreciative That we didn't need to use the bear spray The houses were close to many Denali activities and we had a wonderful time there.

The Taiga House is owned by Todd and Julie Shorey. Todd travelled to Alaska in 1986 and discovered the wonders of Denali National Park and the warmth of the people of the Interior, and never left. He has worked as a tour guide in the summer sun, and a carpenter on many Denali projects through out the winter months. Julie is a life long Alaskan, who grew up just down the road in Cantwell. Our family enjoys salmon fishing, hiking in Denali, picking and eating the seasonal berries, and the winter sports of ice hockey and skiing. Life is good for us here in Healy, and we look forward to sharing our mountain view home with you, and our knowledge of the Alaskan Interior.

Our family purchased this house and six acres of property in 2011 as we moved north from McKinley Village, and instantly fell in love with the open landscape that flows from the south door to the Mountains of Denali Park. As a family we have worked together to create a home, as well as guest spaces for visitors to enjoy. We are sure you'll agree that our location is ideal for your once in a lifetime Alaskan experience.
